Again, we are sorry there still seems to be some confusion.  There was no call or record of a call that a refund was promised on for that amount.  Paramount Customer service reps have no authority to issue refunds.  There was no supervisor who requested a refund or was even notified of any refund of that amount on your account.  Again, I apologize for the confusion that has taken place.  Your account is cancelled and there will be no refund issued.Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: My contract was not signed under O2 fitness and our business is not with that company. As the company we signed the contract with sold out, our contract is null and void and therefore should be refunded by the billing company if we choose not to merge. Especially as our memberships are viewed as separate and unequal from other O2 members.

Do you have proof of your cancel with the club?  What was the official site you cancelled on?  Paramount Acceptance handles the cancels for Fitness Advantage, we do not have a website to cancel on.  We can take your proof of cancel at the club and verify it with the club and possibly...

We have looked into the contract situation and looked at the notes on the accounts.  There is a few issues, in your requests.  First off the accounts are in term contracts.  Being the third party billing company we have to adhere to the contract terms.  Paramount cannot change...

any of the contract terms.  Any cancellation of contracts the customer must provide valid and acceptable proof of relocation or permanent medical disability documentation in order to cancel.  Paramount cannot accept anything outside of what has been outlined in the contracts policies.  As for changing names on accounts, we can't change the contract so we can't change names on the accounts.  Please feel free to contact me with any further questions, I am happy to help answer any additional questions.Thank you,Julie###-###-####

absolutely closed as September 19, 2017.  Paramount will not attempt to pick up the phone and called this location. Or even call other Rivera Fitness center. I spoke to Jay 901-327-2727,( Rivera Fitness at a different location. He confirmed that the it has closed. The other location are more than 10 miles from my home. Cancel my membership.  I'm going to go back the location and take a picture of the sign on the door and send it to you.  This company should be ashamed of their behavior. Complaint: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: This complaint is not about whether there was an incorrect charge on my account, this is about people inputting my information in a system to claim that I have knowledge of something and holding me accountable to an item without my signature. All while acknowledging that my signature is NO WHERE on this document. This is a wrongful and predatory business practice -- threatening to send someone to collections and refusing to cancel their account until they pay an amount that was never disclosed during my month to month membership. Julia, how is this even acceptable?

Although my bank statements do not reflect that my account has had auto payments taken out every month, I do not have confirmation from National Fitness that my contract was canceled because it was done via physical mail, not email nor online. I want to wash my hands of this company, and I’ve learned a great lesson in researching companies before going into any sort of contract with them.

After further review of this account, and according to the contract, there is a monthly renewal that goes into effect after the contract term ends.   At this time Paramount is willing to make a compromise to help get this account paid and cancelled. Usually when a customer...

is wanting to cancel the renewal it is a 30 day notice any payments that falls within the next 30 days in owed.  We have waived the 30 day notice, and waived all the late and return fees on this account.  What is past due is what is owed contractually,  4 term payments, 1 MR payment, and an Improvement Fee of $150.95.  Please contact us as soon as possible to get the account paid off and cancelled.Thank you,

I can understand the confusion.  Gympayment.com does not show future payments.  This is why the 3/17 payment isn't showing online.  Again, we are unable to waive the 30 day payment.  We have to follow the agreement and policies of the club.
