Mr*** we have reviewed your account. There seems to be confusion on your complaint you mentioned a cancel request was sent April 2015. You account wasn't opened until June 2015. The notice we received to cancel was in an email back in December 2015. At that
time that cancellation notice was sent to us the November and December payment was past due. Per agreement there it is a day cancel request, so January payment would be owed. At this time Paramount is willing to settle your account for $*** which is November, December, and January's payment. We are willing to waive all the late fee's on your account. Please contact us as soon as possible to get this account taken care of.We are also willing to settle Ms***'s account that you are responsible for $***. That would be November, December and January's payments.Thank you###-###-####

Being the 3rd party billing company for Riviera Fitness we have to go by their agreements. I reviewed both your agreement and ***'s agreement, and found that the $cancel fee is only on your agreement. I apologize for the oversight on this and have removed the $cancel fee
from his account. Please call us as soon as possible to get your cancel fee paid so we can cancel out your account. Please feel free to contact me with any further questions.Thank you,Julie

After further review of the account we noticed there was one remaining payment left. In the spirit of compromise will waive that last payment and cancel the account with nothing further owed.Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: I canceled my contract with Golds Gym (Paramount, National Fitness) July 17, I
originally called them to ask for a refund for charges on my credit card that I thought were overchargedApparently when I signed up for my membership and paid the membership fees in full at the front desk and signed the contract there was very small print stating that there was a cleaning fee of $every too often that would be charged to my credit cardIt was not a fee that I was told about but since it was very small print on my contract, I decided that there was nothing that I can do but pay itI decided that I would just cancel my contract and pay everything in full while I was on the phone with Paramount (National Fitness, Golds Gym)So I paid over $over the phone with my credit card in full and asked them to close my accountThey said that I will have to give them a cancelation notice in writing and not over the phoneThey gave me their fax number to fax the cancelation notice to them and told me what needed to be included on the letter to themI wrote most of the letter while I was on the phone with them to make sure that I did it rightI asked the lady on the phone to please put in the notes that I was faxing them a cancelation letterImmediately after hanging up the phone with them, I finished writing the letter and faxed it to themThat was over two years agoNow two years later Paramount started charging my credit card and when I called them, they are saying that I never canceled my contractI DID! Paramount is now asking for me (Two years after I canceled my contract with them) to provide proof that I canceledI told them it is on their notes and they are denying that it is on their notesI to,ld them the whole conversation that we had on the phone and that I even canceled in writingI will not settle for thisI have reported them to my bank and my bank is going to get my money back if Paramount doesn't voluntarily give it backParamount owes me a total of $from six unauthorized charges the my cardI even got a new card this year and somehow Paramount was able to charge it.

fall In December you signed a new agreement with Poplar that was club only access We can see where the confusion would be With your Union contract expiring well before the club closed we can't cancel out your agreement with the Poplar location, based on that We apologize if there was miscommunication about this Please feel free to contact us with any further questions. To Whom it May Concern, This complaint needs to be reassigned to the collection company it resides with. This consumers account isn’t with Paramount and hasn’t been for years, I don’t have any records to assist this consumer. The consumer needs to work it out with the collection

After further review of your account. What was owed was the last payment of $on a hydro massage contract. Because the $was unpaid fees accrued on the account bringing the amount to $85.00. Paramount Acceptance will not pursue the $that was owed on the contract. Your
