Paramount Acceptance is the billing company for Golds Gym North Carolina.  We have to honor their agreements and contracts.  Paramount has asked for proof of cancel to refund.  No proof has been submitted.  Unfortunately we cannot provide any further assistance until proof is provided.  Any further questions on this matter need to be directed to Golds Gym. Thank you

I am rejecting this response because:Electronic signatures are only legally binding if the metadata that uniquely identifies the signee is present within the electronic document. There is no metadata present in the contract file, therefore is invalid in a legal requirement to hold signee accountable to conditions therein. A digital copy has been provided and the code therein subsequently analyzed and contains no such data, and therefore is insufficient in proving the opportunity for the consent to and/or reading of terms of agreement prior to effective date of the contract.

Bo one of Customer Service Managers was able to speak with you.  I believe he settled the account to $75.03 and a check was going to be sent to us.  Once we have received that check we will post it and cancel the account. Thank you

I am rejecting this response because:Paramount Acceptance has stated that someone else is responsible for my account. I do not know why they are saying [redacted] is responsible for my account. We signed up for gym memberships at the same time however our accounts are not joint and never should have been connected. This does not change my initial request, I want written proof and documentation of any attempts Paramount Acceptance made in an attempt to bill me OR [redacted] for that matter. Paramount has not satisfied my complaint, they have merely passed the buck to someone else. Their response is not acceptable.

Per your contract in order to cancel the account a 30 day notice needs to be submitted.  The notice submitted was on 12/3 which means the payment on 12/28 will be owed.  It appears the cancellation department and customer service representatives did give notification of the 30 day payment....

 There was a fee of $20 that was assessed due to the 12/28 payment returning. In order to help get the account cancelled out we will waive the $20.00 fee and the payment of $27.25 only will be owed.  Please contact the customer service department to get the $27.25 paid to cancel the account at ###-###-####.Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: after talking to Robert, I understood what was going on, but it does not fix that I was promised by one of your customer service representatives that I would be getting the $50 refund in the mail separate from the $7 refund and before I was charged the $25 cancellation fee twice. Your customer service is unacceptable, and that is coming from someone who has been in customer service my entire career. You have the capability of refunding it and refused to do so. For that reason I will do everything in my power to keep the people I know from your business and share about my experience to anyone who will listen.
