O2 Fitness purchased the gym and contracts associated with your gym. When O2 purchased your location they became a client of ours.  Paramount Acceptance is a 3rd party billing company.  As such we process payments for our clients, and adhere to their contracts/agreements with their customers.   We cannot go outside any contract terms, therefore we are unable to cancel your contract.  Again, any further questions or concerns need to be directed to O2 Fitness. Have a great day!

terms.   From my understanding you said you were moving due to military orders in August.  We asked for a copy of the military orders as your Proof of Move.  We received military orders from customers daily.  We have never had a glitch in getting an account cancelled due to military orders.  We never received military orders or a proof of move in August.  This proof would have cancelled out the renewal as well.  Again, we never received anything in order to cancel the account.  If the renewal needed to be cancelled per contract a 30 day written notice needed to sent to us.   We received an email November 25th, in which we waived the 30 day notice not charging you another payment.  At this time we are willing to backdate the cancel to August if acceptable proof of move or military orders are sent to us.  Please either attach your military orders or proof of move to this case or send it to us through email [redacted]@paramountacceptance.com.  Please let me know if you have any further questions.Thank you,Julie

years.  We have no documentation from National Fitness on a cancel.  National Fitness was great at keeping records and documents when it came to cancellations.  We will be happy to backdate the cancel if you have records from National Fitness showing your account was cancelled through them.  If not we will accept this complaint as your 30 day written notice.  In order to cancel the past due and 1/20 payment will need to be paid for a total of $79.97.  We are willing to waive the fees for the payment being stopped in December at this time.  If you have any further questions please feel free to reach out to our Customer Service Department at 1-800-748-4949.Have a great day!

Great! There should be cancel proof.  When customers cancelled thru National Fitness they always received a confirmation receipt or a response to their cancellation.  Please attach your receipt or response to this case, or you can forward the email to **@paramountacceptance.com (our cancel department email).  Then we can review the documentation backdate and cancel the account out.  Please let me know if you have any further questions.Thank you

Unfortunately according to Compels medical cancel policy the documentation sent to Paramount Acceptance never qualified for cancellation.  Because it didn't qualify, technically the last payment of the contract would have been owed.  In the spirit of compromise we waived the last contractual payment, and cancelled the account.  Since none of the documentation sent qualified, no refund is owed on the account.Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: My contract agreement says 30 day 'advance' notice and all payments must be 'current'. My account is current with a balance of zero per my online account (see attached). I only owed for the months of (Dec, Jan & Feb) and my monthly membership dues were $21.25. I paid the total balance amount of $116.25 (which obviously include some other charges) and left my balance at $0.00. My account still shows zero balance as of 3/6/17. I am giving advance notice to cancel my membership and it seem like my account is being held hostage until I pay something that is not due yet. I do not want the termination of my contract to be delayed any further for a payment that is not due. I also would like a breakdown of the additional charges.
