I have issues to address regarding a VA refi proposal with Paramount that contradict verifiable information and standard good business practices After submitting all the paperwork and being approved for income, credit history, work history and agreeing to the proposed rate with their rep, *** V., he stated "you meet everything, no worries at all, just need an appraisal" etc, we scheduled an appraisal that was to cost me $The amount taken from my account, without confirmation from me was $ I was later told that amount was a VA requirement and Paramount could not change it The appraisal was scheduled for the following week The appraiser showed up earlier than our scheduled time and I was not yet home She brought her teenage daughter with her who did not seem to be performing any duties related to the appraisal, just tagging along, looking through my home As she was wrapping up, she asked how I liked this area of townShe stated she had never been to this area bef
I've recently completed my refi with Paramount, my agent was Paul S*** and he was extremely helpful throughout, I have nothing but positive feedback on the help and support that he provided throughout the entire processI would definitely recommend him
I would like to take this opportunity to express my profound appreciation to Mellissa O*** and Justin L*** of your company for their hard work and professionalism during by application, approval, and closing of my loanThey worked tirelessly providing valuable assistance during my loan processingThe end result was a quick and easy procedureThey are a credit to your company
Absolutely horrible company - Was told that If I did a $prepaid interest loan it would save me money on the interest rate and I would be able to claim it when I filed my taxesThey tell you what you want to hear to get you to sign papersShame on me for not noticing on the loan documents that they listed that $as points under Origination Fees instead of under prepaid interest I guessI didn't realize the problem until I went to file my taxes and the only showed $interest on itWhen I tried to call them I get no call backs, no email, NO NOTHING for weeksThen I start asking for finance, underwriters, or anyone that would actually answer the phoneI get an email from one of their finance people stating the the $is listed on the loan papers as points and that they are not required to put it on the When I told her that was not the agreement I had with the loan office on this loan she rudely replied, "Well talk to him." His boss finally called me back and apologized that I was told one thing to sign the papers and it ended up being that I can't claim all of the $all at once but I have to claim that money over the life of the loanHis apology was empty and worthless to me since I ended up having to pay the govt $in taxes instead of getting a refund of $Gee really saved me money :( They also state that they pay for the appraisal - read your closing docs - YOU pay for it
This company uses SHADY practices to get you to sign papers then changes the deal hidden in the loan papers and ends up costing you moneyWhen you have any kind of issue they completely ignore you until you threaten with lawyersSTAY AWAY and heed the warnings others are telling youLIARS THEY ARE!!!!
I would like to thank Dustin and everyone at Paramount Equity Mortgage for all of their hard work in helping me refinance my home Dustin is a very professional individual and I would recommend him to anyone I know I hope to do future business with Paramount Equity Mortgage This was a great experience Thank you very much
I recently completed my second home refinance with Casey S***, Senior Mortgage Specialist, at Paramount Equity Mortgage I first worked with Casey last year on a refinance and when I decided to possibly refinance again, Casey was the reason why I returned to Paramount Although I knew he was juggling a lot of different customers each day, Casey pretty much made me feel like I was his only customerWhen he said he would call me back, he did - even after regular business hoursI never felt rushed when I had questions that needed to be answeredHe's been in the business for twenty years and he knows his stuffLet's face it, refinancing your home can be a rather tedious and sometimes stressful process, but Casey minimizes those situations with his positive personality and superior customer serviceI recommend that anyone looking to get a mortgage for their home, wherever they live, give Casey S*** at Paramount Equity Mortgage a call I've already recommended him to a friend who is moving out of state and he'll be the one I call the next time I refinance
A loan process was started for a refinance with Loanpal I was denied a loan due to a hold up with my divorce Part of the process involved Loanpal securing a $dollar payment for an appraisal of my property Loanpal was given the money immediately from my account Upon learning of the denial for the refinance I was told a refund would take a week to process I waited the week and no money I contacted the loan officer my email and by phone several times only to be told the refund will take to hours more
Paramount Equity Mortgage and Heath E*** were fantastic to work withHeath made sure we were given the best rate available and all was said and done within a few weeksI highly recommend Paramount Equity Mortgage and Heath E*** !!
My Loan Officer Tara was very knowledgeable and quick
I was contacted by LoanPal Specialist *** *** about refinancing my houseMr*** service itself was impeccable, but I cannot say the same about the practices of his employer
Beginning early this year, Mr*** walked us through a process for refinancing our home, and everything went well, until it came time for the appraisalLoanPal based the amount we qualified for (which they volunteered from the beginning, we never asked for a specific amount) on the values of other similar properties in our neighborhood
The appraiser valued our house to be worth about $20,less than LoanPal estimated, which in turn would have increased our monthly payments, not reduced themWe politely declined to refinance, and Mr.*** understood
A few days later, we received a letter from LoanPal, stating our "loan application was denied because of insufficient collateral"
I recently attempted to do a on my current mortgage for a lower rate and possible cash outRobert M*** called me and "listened" to what I was needing/wantingI am self-employed and I knew it would be tricky but instead of trying to actually help me, he took the easy way out and wanted to restructure the loan with my "husband" on the noteI explained to him that I didn't want to do this because we are in the process of purchasing a home for my MIL(this wasn't a detail that I truly needed to share with him, I just shared it) (and my "husband" and I aren't legally married, we just live together) Robert called me everyday, wanting me to take out the maximum on on current home and buy the other home with that money - which I was against and I explained thatHe called me more times after that and left messagesI returned his call and left him a very direct message on my termsI told him that IF he wanted to work with me he would need to listen to what was best for ME and not what was best for HIMHe immediately fired off a message to me letting me know that he was withdrawing my file because I was asking him to commit fraudI told him that I was not legally married (as we only live together) and that all I wanted was a of my current mortgage and nothing more
He was being greedy by trying to get loans out of me and when I wouldn't fold he was a jerk
I would NOT recommend working with this guy EVERHe sounds more like a used car shark than anything
Great Customer Service!
What a wonderful experience I had with my refinancingPaul S*** was a man of his word and in these days that is rear to findMade the transaction as smooth as silk regardless of my many calls and millions of questionsAnswered everyone of them and never lost his professionalism with meBest in business by far

They lied to me about the amount of my loanI was supposed to receive money back, I was rushed threw my signing and when I asked the amount I was getting back and again was told a different amount then what I receivedMy loan officer *** stopped returning my phone calls and when I spoke with her supervisor *** he was very rude and stated it was my own fault I was repeatedly lied toI have messages where the about I should've received is clearly stated over and over again
This company has no idea how to treat a client, I was called names by the loan officer, and was told that I was wasting there time and that I was not smart enough to use there system obviously because they did not receive the uploads that I sent them,, Mr David F
* should not work with the public, these people are out for quick cash be careful of there tactics and abusive behavior if they don't get what they want,...I spoke to upper management to no avail, I will tell everybody I can not to use this company
Our EVP of Sales spoke with the consumer on 2/2/2015, and agreed to refund the cost of the appraisal and pest inspection previously paid by the consumer. To the best of our knowledge, this complaint was resolved to the consumer's satisfaction
I had a very positive experience with Paramount, though I did stay on top of everything and asked a lot of questionsBottom line is that they came through with everything they promised, and then some after I complained about a misunderstanding we hadThough they were in the right, I felt they did not communicate it well, so they went the extra mile and made me happy anyway
Mr*** was initially informed that we should have been able to complete his loan Unfortunately, information that was not originally available came to light during our underwriting process that prevented us from approving his loan Based on his discussions with our District Sales
Manager, we believe that Mr*** has accepted our apology, has received a refund for his appraisal fee, and considers this complaint closed to his satisfaction
We just completed our refinance with LoanpalThe process was smooth, easy and straightforward thanks to the efforts of Patrick C** and Andrea S
*They made the process as effortless as can be We would highly recommend them to anyone seeking to refinanceThey even had their Notary Heather come to our residence on a Saturday to sign all the necessary documentsThank you *** *** *** *** *** *** ***
