Additionally the number supplied on the complaint is not a valid number. PennyMac bought my loan and is now changing my mortgage payment and making new rules. I am a veteran and just retired and am on a fixed income and cannot allow others to make financial decisions for me. Beware of these people! Read the reviews! Unfortunately we dont have any say in who buys our mortgages, but that does not allow them to make new rules. They claim that since my loan is less than 12 months old, that I cannot take care of my own taxes and insurance... They have incorrect amounts for both in my escrow account. Any good lawyers out there?

receipt of the Revdex.com notification, our office completed a thorough review of Mrs. [redacted]’ loan to ensure that her concerns were addressed. A representative from our office spoke with Mrs. Maciver on October 13, 2014, to review her concerns and request an update to her credit report as requested. PennyMac is in the process of finalizing a written response to confirm the telephone conversations and review of the loan as it relates to her credit reporting.

As we previously advised, a substantive response was prepared and will be mailed to Mr. Pennington addressing all of the concerns mentioned in his initial correspondence to the Revdex.com shortly.  
Please be aware that PennyMac Call Center Representatives are not permitted to send emails to customers as our email server is for internal use only.  Messages sent to external recipients are sent through an unsecured email server.  PennyMac values and protects its customers' confidential information and will not send any detailed loan information via an unsecured source.  
PennyMac does offer a Secure Message Center for borrowers to interact with PennyMac to receive detailed loan information; however, the Secure Message Center was established to respond to borrower inquiries and at the moment is not set up to send unsolicited new messages to customers. Messages sent to PennyMac's Secure Message Center will be responded by PennyMac with detailed loan information as the borrower is required to log into his/her personal account only.  Mr. Pennington can log into his online account and initiate a message to PennyMac via the Secure Message Center and PennyMac will provide him with a detailed response.

My mortgage was sold to PennyMac just over a year and a half ago and it has been the worse time of my life. First off my mortgage was on auto draft with the previous mortgage company and everything was fine. When I got consumed by the devil, Penny Mac, they refused to let me do autodraft, saying that I have to pay three months in advance before that can happen. Then just over a year ago, three pipes broke in the wall of the living room, guest room and garage and the insurance company sent the check for repairs to Penny Mac and they still have it. It has been over a year and they still have not released one penny to me for repairs. So now I have been making all the repairs out of my own pocket causing extreme financial distress on my part. This has caused me to get behind on the mortgage payments and now they are threatening me with foreclosure. Worst company on Earth. It seems like a plan to take my house away from me. From the way they did business from the initial meeting, they do not want to help customers, they just want to make profit and ruin lives.

PennyMac confirmed that her payment was received and applied to her loan. completed a thorough review of the loan to address Mr. **'s concerns. Our records show that a letter was mailed to Mr. ** on May 9, 2013, in response to his request to remove the Private Mortgage Insurance (“PMI”) from the loan. 
 
The letter advises an appraisal or broker’s price opinion (“BPO”) was required in order to determine the loan’s eligibility for the PMI removal. Further review of the loan confirms that Mr. ** hired his own appraiser. The appraisal report confirmed the value of your property had decreased.  As such, his request was declined as it did not meet the requirements set forth by the investor to cancel the PMI.  A decline letter was sent to Mr. ** advising we were unable to remove the PMI due to the decrease in the property’s value. 
 
Mr. **, was contacted on January 23, 2014, by PennyMac and advised that the loan did not meet the requirements for removing the PMI as the property value had decreased.

I can agree with these reviews the Penny Mac is an awful lender. Terrible customer service! Our loan sold a little over a month ago to them. We have made one payment to them! We suffered some damage from a storm and had to submit several documents in order to get the money for the repairs. Had to complete repairs out of pocket! After completing the documents, overnighting the check from insurance; Penny Mac took over 2 weeks to endorse the check. When they did endorse the check and send via UPS the check was then "lost" in the mail. They did not overnight the check and did not want to follow up with the process of ups. Now that the check is missing....they don't seem to be worried about it. I am having to contact insurance company again and start the process over! This has been over a month and we still don't have the insurance check.
(In the mix of doing all the paperwork they asked....they signed the check without reviewing those documents.) Every customer service rep has given me a different answer. Therefore we are still being charged for an adjuster to come look at the repairs. No customer representative can seem to take the $44 charge off my mortgage statement.
Very frustrated!!!

My loan was sold/transferred to PennyMac from Bank of America in July. I get a notice in the mail 4 Sept that my Aug 2015 taxes have not been paid on my house. I call PennyMac and they were all nonchalant saying we have quite a few customer we haven't paid, because of the transfer and claim they will pay it and the late fees. Well I called back again from 8 Sept to 11 Sept to confirm and they had to put in the request again. Now I called back again on 14 Sept checking the status and nothing. This company is such a freaking headache. I was there was an office close so I could go in person. The pass few months with them and there wack website have been the worst.
