Upon receipt
of the Revdex.com notification, our office completed a thorough review of Mr. [redacted]’s loan
to verify the status of his request.  PennyMac
confirmed that the Mortgage Insurance requirement was removed from the loan on
February 5, 2014, effective as of December 1, 2013.  A refund was received and applied to the loan
on February 21, 2014. 
A
PennyMac representative contacted Mr. [redacted] on April 2, 2014 to discuss his payment concerns.  Mr. [redacted] was provided with a
substantive response, which addressed his concerns.  Please be advised that PennyMac is finalizing
its review and adjustments to Mr. [redacted]'s loan.  All the remaining adjustments will be completed by end of business April 14, 2014 and Mr. [redacted] will be
provided with a letter addressing all of his concerns.

Upon receipt of the Revdex.com rejection, our office continued our review of Ms. [redacted]’s loan.  PennyMac contacted Ms. [redacted] on June 26, 2014, to confirm receipt of her Revdex.com rejection.  PennyMac also followed up with Ms. [redacted] on June 30, 2014, and confirmed her questions and concerns have been addressed.  A written response letter was issued to Ms. [redacted] on July 1, 2014, via Fedex overnight delivery (tracking number [redacted]).  Ms. [redacted] has the direct contact information for a PennyMac Priority Complaint Specialist should she have any further questions or concerns.

PennyMac Loan Services, LLC, (“PennyMac”) strives to provide superior customer service and process all transactions in a timely and accurate manner.  Thank you for forwarding Ms. [redacted]'s concerns to our attention and allowing us the opportunity to respond. Please be advised that the documents required for a modification review as not entirely consistent with the documents that are required for a short sale review.  Additionally, PennyMac must request updated documents from customers, once the documents we have on file has expired.  Our records confirm that the Authorization to Participate form was received on November 25, 2014, and has an expiration date of March 24, 2015.  Ms. [redacted] was informed that the HUD1 that was submitted to PennyMac, which was prepared by the Title Company, was incorrect; therefore, the HUD1 had to be revised and resubmitted in order for PennyMac to complete our review.  PennyMac received the revised HUD1 on January 21, 2015. As the net amount on the revised HUD1 has now adjusted, the file has been resubmitted for decision.  Please be aware that the incorrect HUD1 was not a result of a PennyMac error.  We appreciate Ms. [redacted]'s patience while PennyMac continues our review. A written response will be mailed to Ms. [redacted] once a determination has been made. PennyMac values and protects its customers’ confidential information.  Due to privacy reasons, we will refrain from posting any personal information to the Revdex.com site as we do not disclose our borrowers’ personal information.

Revdex.com:PennyMac did finally send a refund check back to us after several phone calls and emails. While we are not happy how the file was handled and having to start over elsewhere we are satisfied with the fact we did get our refund. We are considering this matter closed.

I am rejecting this response because:
I did receive a call from PennyMac after my complaint and the woman confirmed that the correction to the incorrect document had been made and sent out for recording on 1-27-16. She indicated that it had gone to the County in which I reside and that it would take 30 to 60 days to record. However, the County says it only takes 1 day to record from the time they receive it and that they haven't received it (it has now been 2 weeks). I called the contact at PennyMac back to find out if it was possible it was actually sent to a third party vendor to handle the recording. She was going to check and call me back the next day. I have left two messages but haven't heard back from her yet.Still awaiting resolution. There has been a lien incorrectly attached to my property for 4 years as a result of PennyMac's document error and it's causing me considerable difficulty!

I did have a different loan company but they sold my loan to PennyMac. Ever since I've been forced to have them as my loan company. I have had nothing but issues with my loan. My insurance company has almost canceled me on different occasions in the last couple months do to the lack of ability to do their job. PennyMac has only been my loan company for the last few months. The only reason why there haven't been more issues is because I was still paying through my old loan company. They lost $1158.00 of my money on one occasion. Had no clue what happened to it. When I asked if they could call me when they found out what happened. They said "I can put that in the notes but I would call back if you have not received a call in the next couple of days". Can't even give me the common courtesy of a call back after losing my money. When you do call to talk to someone. It takes 5 minutes just to get to the right person. I think its ridiculous that loan companies can sell policies to another loan company. The least Chase could have down is sell my policy to a better loan company. PennyMac is terrible. I wish I could get a different loan company but it's pointless to refinance again. Now I have to spend some more of my personal time to call PennyMac again to deal with another problem. Hope this answered some questions.

Revdex.com:It took quite a bit of effort to escalate our complaint within PennyMac. Once we submitted a Revdex.com ticket responsiveness was forthwith. PennyMac corrected the mistake and we are happy to work with them moving forward.
