We have reviewed your account and found that an order for a search was placed by you on 2/7/At that time you chose to receive a discounted price for the report ($0.95) PLUS a three day Trial to the MembershipOur customer service was available to take your cancellation at any time via you online account manager, email or phoneThe site states "If canceled within days, pay only $for trialAfter the trial, you will be billed $24.95/month." We did not receive your cancellation until 2/11/2015, four days after the three day Trial Membership was initiatedTherefore you were billed the Membership fee ($24.95) on the fourth dayThe charge is non-refundable per the Terms you agreed toYour Membership will automatically expire on 3/13/2015, and you can enjoy all the great benefits of this service until then

I am rejecting this response because: People Finders' response repeated what I said, that I had not accepted their representative's offer of credit for the most recent monthIf I had done that it would have rendered any further complaint null and voidAs I go back to their website and repeat the steps I took to purchase a report on a single person, I still see that the wording of the monthly service and charges is in very small, faded printMy argument is that it is intentionally misleading for some peopleUnfortunately I was one of those people, roped into a monthly service when all I wanted to do was purchase one reportI sincerely thought I was buying one report for $While I thank People Finder's for refunding me the most recent month, I would like to request month additional refund based on their misleading display of policies

I am rejecting this response because I feel that I've been duped into a erroneous 3-day trial period providing outdated info along with numerous other consumers as indicated on [redacted] which lists pages of consumer complaints It was my understanding that the 3-day trial would be a $"one time" payment However, received the 1st bill in August for July charge of $and contacted Peoplefinders to dispute the charge but agreed to pay the $billed as I was advised by the rep that there would be NO further charges so I promptly paid the bill In Septreceived a 2nd bill for $and contacted Peoplefinders to dispute the charges and spoke to rep [redacted] who advised me that a credit would issued for the full amount Received the 3rd bill on October 10thfor $with a payment due date of November 10th, I then contacted Peoplefinders again to dispute the charges but was told that I had to contact my credit card company

I am rejecting this response because: if you go to their website, it's contents is not advertising what they offer, it's aledgedly misleading the public to a service thet cannot provide I appreciate the refund, however I still speak for all those that will mislead.thank you in advance
