I am rejecting this response because:
Those terms I did not agree to. I read no such policy or terms. They did not inform me that they were billing. if I knew they were billing me I would have cancelled the firt time I got billed 24.99. But they were sneaky billing.

We did not receive any notification that you wished to cancel this trial. The 3 day trial has ended; therefore as stated on the site, you were charged the membership fee on the fourth day, and for every month thereafter. Per your request over the phone on 6/9/2015, and as a onetime courtesy, we have granted one refund for the most current month of membership ($24.95). Please allow 2-5 business days for the refund to process back into your credit or debit card. The remaining charges are non-refundable per the Terms you agreed to. Our contact information, including our address, can be found on the website at PeopleFinders.com/contact. As you initially requested on 6/9/2015 your PeopleFinders.com account is closed and there will be no further automatic billing.

We will opt out the information from the website. But, when we type in that name that are several matches. Please provide us with the age and address  or addresses to be removed.

There was an extensive background report that was purchased for $11.95 and $.50 to be emailed. There are no further charges received. No refund is due per our Terms of Use agreed to at the time of purchase.

We have not used the customer information for [redacted]. The customer call on 05/06/16 to cancel the membership. There was no prior cancelation. No refunds will be issued.

I am rejecting this response because: if you go to their website, it's contents is not advertising what they offer, it's  aledgedly misleading the public to a service thet cannot provide.  I appreciate the refund, however I still speak for all those that will mislead.thank you in advance.

I am rejecting this response because:I was called by the business and told that they would send to me the sources by email which they have not done as yet which is different than the reply to you.

I am rejecting this response for this reason:Although I am grateful that the Revdex.com’s influence has helped me to get a refund of some of my money (four out of 13 months, and another month as a direct response to my complaint to the company), I believe the company is misleading customers by not making it clear that a subscription is being taken out and not just a one-time service.   To be as objective as possible about this complaint, after cancelling the "subscription" I was not aware I had initiated, I went back to the PeopleFinders web site to try the process again from the beginning.  Try as I might, I was NOT able to find ANY note that by initiating a search for information an annual subscription was about to be committed to.  No tiny fine print, no check box, NO evidence that a subscription was in the works and not a "free" individual person search.   I have come away with the belief that the company is participating in deceptive practices that are considerable worse then bait and switch practices.  In fact, their practices seem to be fraudulent.  As such, I think the proper reaction from the company should be a full refund of all fees improperly charged.

I am rejecting this response because:If I would it known the terms that you are disclosing at the time of using the service, I would accept the responsibility of the charges. This business setting allows the public to be DECEIVED with the low fees that are integrated into flashy colors overriding any other terms. In marketing terms, this is consider FALSE AND DECEIVING MARKETING STRATEGIES and I will not fall for this voluntarily. I am 100% confident that this company is making millions of dollars over this FALSE ADVERTISEMENT and I am a consumer and as a CONSUMER I have the right to accept or reject the charges that you've IMPOSED in my credit card without my authorization.The business etiquette and attitude of the employees when dealing with consumers complaints are really bad. The arrogant attitude, the cross talking and talking down on me was extremely unprofessional, not to mention the CARELESS attitude towards me. This company is providing a WRONG customer service and image while making money from consumers that did not understand their business deal as in my case, and I should not pay for a service that I don't even used and I never received ANY information in return. So far, I can only say that this business is a scam business with a very bad customer service and reputation. There is no record of the customer ever contacting our company. The customer purchased a recurring membership on 01/18/17. The customer was then billed for the next month on 2/18/17. The membership was then canceled online on 02/21/17. Since the membership was not canceled before the renewal...

I am rejecting this response because: It is obvious, despite your much touted benefits, this business was designed ,deliberately, to trap customers into additional charges when they are slow to cancel (in three days). Two purchases were made on this day by the same user. As there was also a membership selected by the user on 5/13/2015 an automatically renewing membership fee was charged on the fourth day 5/17/2015. PeopleFinders.com takes unauthorized use very seriously and have reviewed the multiple calls from you on 5/19/2015. We found that given the contradicting statements you made to the representatives they had a difficult time determining if someone else used your information to make this purchase on our site or you made the purchase and simply did not mean to sign up. Either way, the supervisor was eventually able to determine that you did not make this purchase on PeopleFinders.com. She attempted to advise you, during two separate calls within minutes of each other, that the registration information would be blocked and you should see a refund of all charges in 3-5 business days. As you were continually talking over the representatives during all phone calls this was difficult to convey to you. We feel this issue is resolved as the account was closed and a full refund was issued back to the card that was used by the user on PeopleFinders.com.
