I am rejecting this response because: Revdex.com, please go onto their site and try it yourself to experience it I still reject their communications as what peoplefinders is saying is deceptive and untrue I canceled my subscription but did not turn off auto renew They said cancel in days Their site is misleading at best You need to try it yourself to understand it and understand that what they are saying and how it is presented on their website is not good business and deceptive Also, please note, I am now receiving spam at the email website that I gave peoplefinders when I registered with them that I have never received before Can you please have peoplefinders respond to this, why this is happening and how to turn it off? Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: It is obvious, despite your much touted benefits, this business was designed ,deliberately, to trap customers into additional charges when they are slow to cancel (in three days)Persons who designed this site, and those who operate it should be ashamed to be participants in deceptive trickeryLet me hear it : "WE ARE ASHAMED !" We take these matters very seriously and have reviewed the two calls on file from you to our Customer Care Department on 12/29/We will take appropriate actionWe apologize for any inconvenience caused by your experience over the phoneDuring the first call we found that the representative advised, per your request, that the first two attempts to charge $to your card failed due to a zip code mismatch and that your third attempt, a $charge, did successfully go throughDuring your second call to our Customer Care Department, the representative advised per your request that there was "no manager available right now" and that they would "be in at 9:30am." She also offered you a voicemail so that the supervisor could call you directly at a later timeWe have confirmed that your call was in fact transferred to the supervisor voicemail at the end of this call and not disconnected by this representativeYou also requested to have your Public Record information removed from our search resultsThe representative confirmed we do offer the option to remove your information through a self-service online toolShe continued that we do not accept opt out requests over the phoneWe found no instance during these two calls of a representatives "yelling and screaming" or using "horrible names." We have reviewed our files and our records show that an order for a search was conducted by [redacted] on 12/17/at 9:37am on PeopleFinders.comThen, at 10:27am the same subject was searched on [redacted] , a separate but sister website of PeopleFinders.comAt that time, on both websites, [redacted] had a choice to accept a special discounted price available with a monthly membership ($0.95) or the full price for the search without membership ($1.95)The membership option was affirmatively selected by [redacted] on 12/17/2014, on both websites through entirely separate checkout and registration processesThat membership provided a three day trial to try our servicesOur membership service provides unlimited searches and other features for a monthly feeThis is clearly and conspicuously disclosed on the initial order selection pageThe consumer is provided with an entire section outlining the terms of the membership which clearly and conspicuously states that after the initial trial, unless the consumer cancels the service the service will continue monthly and the card they provided will be charged until they indicate to cancel their membership to avoid future chargesThe membership is mentioned no less than three times on two pages before the order is completeIf their intention was to run only one search, then they had in fact selected the wrong product.Given that members can conduct unlimited searches for a monthly membership fee our terms do not allow for any refunds and simply allow members to cancel anytime to avoid future chargesFor the period of their membership [redacted] was charged each monthDuring that time, our customer service was available to take their cancellation at any timeThey failed to contact us to cancel until a phone call to a representative two months after the membership had been activatedPer their request on 2/2/we agreed to refund the January membership fees of $as a courtesyThe remaining charges [redacted] is responsible for are the initial cost of $for the discounted reports plus trial memberships and the December membership fees ($each)In conclusion, [redacted] has received credit for one month of service for both websites totaling $as a courtesy, the account is closed and there will be no further automatic billing

I am rejecting this response because:This seriously appears to be a scamPeople Finder vs "people finders." The phone number and complaint was provided by American ExpressTherefore, this company appears to be into fraud, and should not be allowed to vitimize people

We have reviewed our files and found that an order for a search was placed by you on 4/2/at 7:58am PSTA product was selected by this user, account information was registered and the purchase was successfully completed. In addition to fully passing our verification process, on
4/4/we received emails from this same email address which state 'I purchased a report from your website.' As stated in our Terms of Use, we do not offer refunds for the product you ordered. The free courtesy search on your account currently will remain until it is used. There is no expiration dateYou may elect to have that free exchange search ran at any time. Just call our number and a representative will run your search for you

You were notified of the automatic billing in clear and concise standard text on each page of checkout.
