Review: People Finders automatically enrolled me into a recurring monthly subscription, without my consent.

I made a purchase for $1 in August but the site continually changed my selection to a more expensive one of $14.95, I assume this was a "glitch". Thereafter, my account has been charged $24.95 for the month of September, then again in October. I called to inquire, they advised I opted to enroll into a monthly membership and they would only refund one month.

I did not enroll into a monthly membership nor did I consent to have this amount automatically withdrawn from my account.

This company is deceitful. Desired Settlement: I am seeking a refund for unauthorized charges of $24.95 for the month of September and $24.95 for the month of October along with cancellation of this false membership enrollment.

PeopleFinders.com is a self-service site. Consumers are only charged for the products they select online. Auto-enrolment is not a feature offered by People Finders. Our records show on 8/11/2013 at 10:35AM PST you visited PeopleFinders.com and selected a 1.95 People Search report. Three minutes later you selected a $2.94 People Search report. Then, in the same login sitting but four minutes after your previous purchase, you selected to enroll in a monthly membership at $24.95. As explained on the site and throughout the checkout process, this membership is discounted for the first 30 days at $14.95 and renews at $24.95 monthly until it is canceled. You failed to cancel this membership until a phone call to a representative on 10/18/2013, three months after you selected to enroll. Per your request over the phone on 10/18/2013 we agreed to refund $24.95 for one month, as a courtesy. The charges are non-refundable per the terms you agreed to on 8/11/2013.

While we are not able to offer you any further refunds, we would be happy to offer a complimentary 30 day membership to account for the time you were not using the service due to your misunderstanding of what was advertised online. Feel free to let us know via email or phone when and if you would like to start this 30 day membership.

Review: Billed and not reimbursed. Customer service handled very poorly.

I found a charge on my joint account from people finders and realized they had been billing me for a service I used one time as a trial to locate a client whose phone number had changed. The representative, [redacted], that I spoke with could only see my most current charge, he asked me for my credit card number and zip code as he could not find my account by email, I said well you shouldn't even have access to my account because this fairly new card. He said he could only refund me for one month and that he could not see other charges. He asked if I had bank statements and I said I can print them now, he then suggested I send them to him. I began feeling very uncomfortable and asked to speak with a supervisor he said he could not transfer me and there was no way I could speak with anyone else unless I called back other wise that would be like cutting in line. I said, "can you put me on hold?" And he said "no, I don't know if you've aver worked at a call center before, but you can't put someone on hold." At this point I fee extremely uncomfortable. I can't hear anyone else in the back ground and for all I know I'm talking to some kid that I just gave all my billing information. As he would help me no further I called and cancelled my credit card immediately as I felt very uneasy about this person having my information. When I called peoplefinders back to verify that it was an actual business they would not look up my account except by my billing address and said a they would terminate the call unless I gave it to them, this person transferred me to a Supervisor, [redacted], ID XXXXX. To whom I made the complaint. She says, "you must have mistakenly choose the wrong plan, one plan is 1 time for $1.95 and the other is reoccurring for 0.95 cents. (Then 24.95 thereafter) I'll refund you for 4 months. You should have noticed before." I used their service once in 03/2012 for a work transaction and they could only reimburse me 4 months? They provided me with no service for a year and a half and when my card expired they went to my bank and got my new credit card number without my permission to continue billing me. I think this business is a sham. When I asked [redacted] why someone would ask me to send my bank statements to them she said, "That's strange." Then later said, "Well if we couldn't find your transactions we might have them sent here." AS we are talking a look up 1821 Q st, sacramento; it does not look like a place of business, when I ask her about this she says that the building is unmarked and there is no sign. Why is that? I would never do business with this company. They are not trustworthy and made $474.05 off of me for about 2 seconds of service. I will advise everyone I know of peoplefinders deceitful business practices and reprehensible customer service. I have three children and do not have the time or money to have to cancel my debit card due to unsavory company business practices and their sketchy employees. Desired Settlement: Full refund of my money beginning in 04/2012 and acknowledgement that I only used their service once despite a year and a half of charges. As well as an admission that they should never have asked me to send my bank statements to some random address in Sacramento that looks like a homeless shelter on yahoo maps and they should have allowed me to speak with a Supervisor the first time I called causing me to believe fraud was being committed by their company and in turn causing me cancelling my debit card.

Initial Business Response

We have referenced the three recorded phone calls to our Customer Service department with [redacted], [redacted] and [redacted] to confirm the below response on behalf of Peoplefinders.com. We apologize for any inconvenience, wariness or confusion you have experienced.

Yes you did initially call and spoke with [redacted]. To locate any customer's account we ask for the email address, name or credit card that was used on PeopleFinders.com. This is not something that is a breach of security. The customer has already provided us with this information when making a purchase online. For those customers who we cannot find their account by any other means and are weary of giving their entire card number we do have the ability to look up an account by partial card number. After you confirmed you did in fact use Peoplefinders.com for your initial search, [redacted] could see the charge you were referring to which he issued a refund for, which included a confirmation email sent to you from the email on file. You asked to speak with someone else and [redacted] stated you were welcome to call back and be routed to another person, which you declined. You were also offered to be transferred to a supervisor's voicemail, which you declined. Our representatives do not have the options of transferring calls to other same level representatives. They may only escalate the call to a supervisor or manager. This is strictly an inbound call center and the calls are designed to be taken in the order they were received in the queue. Again, this is a standard call center practice and not something that should raise any red flags on the legitimacy of our company.

After speaking with [redacted] you then called back and spoke with [redacted]. [redacted] at this point has no idea you had previously called in, therefore she needed your email, name or card number in order to pull up your account. Then representatives are required to verify another piece of information, like your address, to ensure they are talking to the account holder. Searching, usage and especially billing information is strictly confidential and this verification over the phone is crucial in securing that. Again, this verification is standard procedure with inbound call centers. Once you verify an account a representative is able to view any notations made by previous reps, review refunds, account history etc. At that time you refused to verify any of your account information in order for her to assist you. We understand now this was because you were to weary of the initial call you had with [redacted]. At that point [redacted] deemed you as a difficult caller because you were not cooperating in verifying your information. Recognizing this, your call was then passed on to a supervisor ([redacted]) who was now available. After you explained your experience with [redacted], [redacted] did make the comment that it was strange that [redacted] asked you to send in your statement only because she was able to view all of the transactions, not just the most recent one as [redacted] had said, and not because it wasn't protocol. [redacted] agreed to issue three additional refunds per your request of asking if we could grant any more than the initial refund. The conversation continued from there discussing the legitimacy of PeopleFinders.com.

As [redacted] explained over the phone; Peoplefinders.com is an online, privately owned, company. We are not open to the general public. There is no headquarters or storefront in which customers can walk into the building and make search requests, hence no signs. We are one of the biggest sources of public record data and have been so for 10+ years. We are in very good standing with the Revdex.com and always do our best in assisting our customers.

We strongly feel that our website is completely transparent in explaining all charges linked to searches, memberships and automatic charges. We use concise one page disclosures dedicated to describing what charges will occur, how to use the membership, membership coverage and how to cancel. Each page after that has an order summary at the top right hand corner confirming your product ordered and we ask for all customers to check a box agreeing to our terms of use and privacy policy. Consumers are then sent an email confirming the purchase and welcoming you to the site. There are at least 5 sections in which you are advised of recurring billing throughout the purchase process. It is the online consumer's responsibility to read and understand the product they are purchasing. Despite this process being completed on 3/19/2012 and recurring monthly billings on your statement every month, you failed to contact our office to cancel until 10/2/2013, nineteen months after her membership was started. In conclusion, you have received four refunds of $24.95 each totaling $99.80 as a courtesy and your account with PeopleFinders is closed. You will be responsible for the prior 15 months of charges.

Final Consumer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)

You may deem everything that happened as normal procedure, but that does not make them good procedures. After listening to the conversation I had with [redacted] you should completely understand where I'm coming from. I appreciate that you were "generous" enough to refund me for 4 months, but in my opinion this is quite unsatisfactory. As I said before, which I'm sure you can verify; I used your service once, however you feel completely justified in billing me over $400. That is not only shady but unethical. You are building your business upon people like me who made a mistake in the option they choose. You are taking advantage of the publics misunderstanding of your billing procedures and profiting from it greatly. I find your resolution unacceptable and your business deplorable.

Final Business Response

PeopleFinders.com feels we have already addressed these issues in our first response. Please review the Terms of Use on PeopleFinders.com if you would like more information about refunds or other policies. We will grant two additional refunds of $24.95 each, again as a courtesy to [redacted], the other charges from more than six months ago will not be refunded.

Review: Unfair business practice, and withdrawing money without consent.

I signed up for a $.95 trail, never told of a $24.95 fee. I saw it on my credit card, I contacted them, spoke to Ban, he refused the refund. I'm horrified this stuff happens this day. This company should be ashamed of its service and definitely of it's customer service. All I wanted was my $24.95 back that I didn't authorize. He said "no".Desired Settlement: I want my $24.95 back that I wasn't told would be taken out.

Business' Initial Response

The customer has a choice to accept a special discounted price available with a monthly membership or the full price for the search without membership. The membership provides a three day trial to try our services. Our membership service provides unlimited searches and other features for a monthly fee. This is clearly and conspicuously disclosed on the initial order selection page. Then the consumer is provided with an entire page outlining the terms of the membership which clearly and conspicuously states that after the initial trial, unless the consumer cancels the service the service will continue monthly and the card they provided will be charged until they tell us to cancel their membership to avoid future charges. The membership is mentioned no less than three times on three pages before the order is complete.

Given that members can conduct unlimited searches for a monthly membership fee our terms do not allow for any refunds and simply allow members to cancel anytime to avoid future charges. Our records show a phone call was placed to our Customer Care team on 8/28/0013 and we agreed to grant a partial refund of $14.20 as a courtesy. The remaining fees ($12.69) are none-refundable because of the volume of searches ran on 8/24/2013. six searches were performed and results generated. Searching is $1.95 each without a membership.

Consumer's Final Response

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

I agreed to the $14.20 refund, but unfortunately never saw it. Every time I tried to contact anyone there, I was promptly disconnected. TO this day, I have not seen any refund (as promised), and plan to badmouth this company's work ethics, till I do.

They mislead their customers, and have a poor overall customer service department.

Business Response

Our records show a refund of $14.20 being processed on 8/28/2013. This amount should have been shown on your credit card statement within five to ten business days. If you have not received this refund yet we recommend contacting the bank to see why the refund has been delayed.

If you have any questions or need further assistance. Please call our Customer Care department.

Review: The people finders website is very tricky. I am very careful and read all fine print. I set up an account for the trial period, and I cancelled before the trial period. I went back on the site an did an individual inquiry for a couple of dollars. It never stated I was starting a membership with them. I understood I was just doing a one time charge. I received no notifications that I was being charged and when I was being charged. That website is very misleading. I called the complany and they representatives were so rude. The representative would not hear me out, she was talking over me and she hung up. My second call was to a [redacted]. I explained to him I wanted my money back, he told me that was not going to happen. I asked him how do I dispute this he said there is no way to dispute it. He didnt not offer no resolutions. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they can only transfer me to a voicemail. The voicemail had no name attached to it. It all seems just fishy. I would never deal with their service again. They trick you into a membership. I want my money back.Desired Settlement: I want my money back, I will settle for the last 2 months. I want the owner of that company to contact me for his rude employess. They need to listen to the call I made.

Response:

We have reviewed our files and found an order for a search was placed by this customer on 6/16/2014. At that time a $1.95 Reverse Phone Lookup Report plus Reverse Phone Membership Trial was selected. This trial was cancelled via the online Account Manager on 6/17/2014. We show continued usage up until expiration on 6/19/2014.

On 7/11/2014 a separate order for a search was placed. This second time the exact same $1.95 Reverse Phone Lookup Report plus Reverse Phone Membership Trial was chosen and the customer proceeded through the same checkout process. This time we did not receive notification that they wished to cancel the trial within the three day trial period. Therefore, they were charged the membership fee ($24.95) on the fourth day, and for every month thereafter. In addition, our records show this user ran many searches up until 9/30/2014, utilizing the membership for three months after it was initiated. On 10/17/2014 we cancelled the membership per her initial request over the phone.

Given that we have provided the ability to run unlimited searches for a monthly membership fee our Terms do not allow for refunds. This customer has also mentioned that they have already contacted their bank or Credit Card Company and filed a dispute. Often, due to the dispute, they are given a conditional refund by the bank; therefore we cannot offer them a courtesy refund. In conclusion, the charges are non-refundable per the Terms agreed to and continuous usage on the account, the account is closed and there will be no further automatic billing.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because:

Those terms I did not agree to. I read no such policy or terms. They did not inform me that they were billing. if I knew they were billing me I would have cancelled the firt time I got billed 24.99. But they were sneaky billing.

Business

Response:

You were notified of the automatic billing in clear and concise standard text on each page of checkout. Our records show you were aware of the membership because you logged into your account and used it consistently. The usage of the membership over the period of four months indicates that you did not intend to cancel within the first month. You are free to review the refund and other policies every customer must agree to in order to complete a purchase on PeopleFinders.com at http://www.peoplefinders.com/terms.aspx.

With careful navigation I was able to get to just the one-time $.95 report. But to access the information I was looking for just once, it cost another $19.95 - only to find out they didn't have it to begin with. They didn't have my email until this order - I'm sorry I gave it up.

Review: On 12/23/14 I went on this web site to find an address of an old friend. I was billed a small amount. In both January and February I was billed $25.00. I was certainly not aware of a commitment to any "membership" When I called today to inquire, I was told that using the site constituted a membership and that because I didn't cancel I was charged.Desired Settlement: 24.95 X 2== 49.90 credited to my **

Review: The company was not transparent in the advertising process when they did not disclose that the cost was $300 a year and it was a annual contract. They only advertised that it would cost 95 cents for the address. I only needed the address. I do not need or want an annual membership nor can I afford it. They refuse to refund my money which was my next week grocery money for my child.Desired Settlement: A refund now

Review: I signed up for a single $0.95 search to contact someone who hit my car. I provided credit card details and completed my order. I received an email of my login info, but no invoice for my order. We get credit card reports quarterly and flagged that I had been charged $24.99/month.When I contacted PeopleFinders, I asked for details and was told that I had signed up for $24.99 a month. I asked for a screenshot or confirmation and I received an image with the name "John Smith" and certain words highlighted in yellow. Curiously, there are 2 "Continue" buttons, with one falling below fold on standard PC screen. When I look at my account, it shows I was charged $0.48 for 1 report.1 purchase, no invoice, no confirmation, deceptive order process, inconsistent charge report, questionable verification.Desired Settlement: I paid for a single report. My account shows it was worth $0.48. I agreed to pay $0.95. If the policy for 1 report is $1.95, I am happy to pay that. I am rejecting this response because:the only option that appears above the fold is the option for discount. This is misleading. I can see from the many other complaints that this appears to be the practice of this company to mislead and defraud. If if that is, in fact, how you would like to leave this, after a very logical and reasoned response, I guess there is no other reasonable action for me. Thanks you, Revdex.com, for trying to help out. Clearly, there is only one motion left at this time.

Review: Company failed top provide the service

PeopleFinders failed to provide the service they offered.

The reverse phone number's owner's name and address was never provided of many numbers I tried, INCLUDING MY OWN.

A number that is not in service appeared as if it had a name. That's impossible.

===

I need to find the business address of a phone user who took money, didn't provide the service and his invoice has the wrong address. I have two working numbers he answers and need to find his real address.

The Revdex.com gave these crooks at PeopleFinders.com an A + !!!

These people have been in business for 13 years robbing customers blatantly by promising to give us what they don't have. How is it possible the Revdex.com would give them an A plus?

Before we pay they claim to have the name of the owner of the Phone number, but when the search is done, the "name" is the name of the CITY!!! This information is available without the service.

So they have no names and no addresses to offer really, only a pretty website harvesting millions of dollars from unsuspecting customers.

Consumer's Final Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)

I do accept the response of courtesy refund of the $3.95 charged.

Thank you

Review: I signed up for a one time search in July, 2015 and used the service one time. When I reviewed my credit card bill for October of 2015, I saw a $24.95 bill from Peoplefinders. I then saw that I had been charged $24.95 for each of the months July, August, and September. I called the Peoplefinders number [redacted] and was told that my account would be closed, but I had agreed to the $24.95 monthly charge. Peoplefinders sent a screen shot of their offer in which the fine print indicated that the $24.95 would continue if the trial was not cancelled. I have no recollection of seeing the requirement to pay $24.95 a month unless I cancelled the service. I would not have actively signed up for a $24.95 monthly service when all I wanted was a one-time search.Desired Settlement: I would like an immediate refund of $99.80 for the four months I was billed. In light of the many complaints I have read, I would like to see Peoplefinder required to eliminate any form of enrollment that is triggered if there is no follow-up by the individual requesting the service. Any enrollment with regular billing must be actively requested by the individual requesting the service.

Business

Response:

The customer selected the discounted People Search product that some with the Trial Membership. This membership sign up is shown in multiple places in the check out process. Before completing the purchase the customer also checked a box that agrees to the Terms of Use stating that previous months memberships are not refundable. As a courtesy, we have refunded the most recent month's billing. However, as the Terms of Use state the previous months will not be refunded. The membership has been canceled, there will be no further billings.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: As I stated in my complaint, I have no recollection of agreeing to automatic enrollment of $24.95 per month. The total amount I was overbilled was $99.80, not $24.95 that Peoplefinders is offering to repay.

Business

Response:

The customer selected the People Search Report at the discounted price. The attached screen shot shows a price of $0.95. Before check out they are shown that the product comes with a membership. During check out they clicked on the box saying they agree to the terms of use. Per the terms of use months that have already been billed are not refundable. We have issued 1 refund for the most current charge, there will be no further billings.

Consumer

Response:

This is the first time I can recall paying too much for any product or service and not being compensated for the overcharge. I normally look closely at terms of payment to make sure the product or service matches the payment. I used the Peoplefinder service one time and was willing to pay the expected cost of $0.95 which showed on my Visa bill as two separate charges of $0.48 and $0.47. It was clearly not my intention to sign up for an ongoing $24.95 monthly service. From their response and the presentation of their payment terms, the intention of Peoplefinders is to trick individuals into signing up for the $24.95 monthly billing. Please let me know what steps are necessary to recover the full $99.80. I plan to lodge a complaint with the Sacramento District Attorney regardless of whether or not Peoplefinders refunds the full $99.80. Thank you again for your response. I will be watching closely for any communication on the subject. [redacted]

What a joke this "company" is - if you dare sign up for a "one-time" check on a phone number (supposed to cost.95 and.50 - you are automatically signed up for one month membership at a cost of $24.95 if you do not email them within 3 days. It is in your best interest to not try anything with this company. After they "stopped" my monthly charges they hung up on me!

Review: I feel as if this business is a very sophisticated scam. I signed up for the $9.99 package. I searched 1 person and a charge of $19.95 & 29.95 showed up on my account. I called and asked for a reimbursement and they refused. Horrible customer service. It's like corporate stealing from consumers.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of $49.90 ASAP. And an apology.

Response:

The customer's initial purchase was a Background Report on [redacted] for $19.95. This product came with a 3 day trial period of our Background Report Membership. The customer then ran another report on [redacted] and was not billed for it, since they were using the trial membership. They did not cancel within the 3 days, therefore they were billed the membership fee as the website states. As a courtesy, we have refunded $29.95 today. There will be no further renewals.

We apologize for any inconvenience. However, the customer's first purchase was not for $9.95 as they stated. The product they selected was for a $19.95 Report. As the attached screen shot shows (PF Screen Shot1), the full price of the report is $39.95 . But, they selected the $19.95 discounted price by also including a trial membership. If they do not want the membership as stated, then they would have selected the $39.95 option. The service was rendered. This customer got the discounted price of $19.95, and then stated they did not want the membership. Per the Terms of Use the product is not refundable, however we went ahead and refunded them the membership charge of $29.95. Please note, before the customer checks out they are able to view this total price of their order, then they enter their billing information and click the Terms of Use to complete the purchase. Services were rendered for the $19.95 Background Report, as the Terms of Use state it is not refundable. The customer states they signed up for the $9.95 package. The only package we have for $9.95 is a Background Report membership that is $9.95 a month for 6 months, the total they would have been billed was $59.70. We have attached a screen shot of that offer as well.(PF Screen Shot 2)At this time we have refunded them for the membership they said they did not want ($29.95). They received the background report, of $19.95, at the discounted price, not the full price of $39.95. We will not be refunding the initial purchase of the background report that we provided to them because services were rendered.

Review: This company somehow charged my Credit card on a monthly basis when I thought that I had only approved a transaction. Either they charged my credit card without authorization or they imbedded a small approval box that I did not see authorizing some kind of re-occuring charge. Either way it was not my intent to sign up with People Finders and I tried to call them to cancel and tehy did not answer the phone. I will call again tomorrow if they don't answer I will call the bank and report fraud charges.Desired Settlement: Please have this predatory web based compnay refund me the $25 that they have tried to sneak out of my account.

We received your request and issued a refund for $24.95 . This amount will be shown on your credit card statement within five business days. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please call our Customer Care Team during the hours listed below at (800) 718-8997. Thank you for contacting PeopleFinders.com.

Beware of People Finders their way of adding on more charges is not set up to accommodate the customer. I am being charged an extra $!9.95 that I do not think I owe, and would not have used their site if I knew how they kept adding on the fees.

terrible experience, charge 19.99 and next day another 29.99 for some trial WATCH WITH THESE PEOPLE!!

Agreed to pay $1 to run my record. No records were found, that I needed. Scammed me later for $25, when I haven't used any of their service and haven't logged in. Another monthly subscription scamming machine. Beware. They stick their no refund policy into your face, when you ask for your money back.

Review: I signed up for a one time search and they have billed me for two months. Will not refund.Desired Settlement: They agreed to refund one months charches and I want both months. I never agreed to an ongoing service.

Directly after your purchase on 12/15/2013 you were presented with a full page offer. This page clearly and concisely explains the monthly membership coverage and the automatic renewal. It offers a three day trial to the membership where you may cancel at any time via email, phone or your online account manager to avoid the membership fee. You had the choice to either accept or decline this additional offer. Our records show on 12/15/2013 you affirmatively selected to enroll in the trial membership. Our customer service was available to take your cancellation at any time. You failed to contact us until 5/5/2014, five months after the membership was initiated. Per your request over the phone on 5/5/2014 we granted one refund of $24.95 as a courtesy. The other charges are non-refundable per the terms you agreed to.

DON"T DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE .. THEY TAKE MONEY BUT DON"T DELIVER

People finders is a "come on" operation , they promise but they don't deliver. They will fraudulently bill you and then make it difficult for you to get in touch with them, note there tel number give a minimum of information , there is no way to talk with a real person, they have no email address for their so called "customer service.

Review: I cancelled my peoplefinders account in april of 2014 as evidenced by my last login on 4/11/2014. There is a link to cancel and I cancelled at that time. I noticed that they have been billing me monthly for this service that i've authorized or gotten value out of and called immediately. the woman who answered the phone asked if id received a confirmation number and I said no. she said that it wasn't their fault I didn't check my bank statement. she said she saw a cancellation for today. But again, today, I did not receive a confirmation number of any kind. this company is a scam and needs to be shut down.Desired Settlement: Refunded money going back to 4/11/2014

At the time of purchase you chose to receive a discounted price for signing up for a 3 day trial to our Membership. This membership allowed you to receive an unlimited number of:•People Searches – Get the facts you need to find anyone, anywhere•Email Searches – Obtain email addresses, or learn about the owner of any address•Marriage Searches – Find out if a man or woman has ever been married•Divorce Searches – Check the divorce status of any man or woman•Property Searches – Learn about any piece of property, including the current owner and valueYou had the option to cancel this membership trial at anytime via your account manager on the website, via email, or via phone. We did not receive any notification that you wished to cancel this trial. The 3 day trial has ended; therefore, you were charged the membership fee on the fourth day, and for every month thereafter. Per your initial request over the phone on 6/5/2015 the automatic renewal of your membership was cancelled. We have found that you have already contacted your bank or Credit Card Company and filed a dispute. Often, due to the dispute, you are given a conditional refund by your bank; therefore we cannot offer you a refund. Please allow time for your financial institution to review the charges for validity. Usually this process will take a few billing cycles and they will notify you of the outcome via mail. You will now need to follow their policies and procedures regarding these charges.

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: I in fact did cancel. Per the bank, the charges fraudulently started up after a period of some months of not being charged. The rude person I spoke with asked for a confirmation number. even after I cancelled a second time I did not receive a confirmation number. Ipso facto, this company sets the customer up for theft. this "business" needs to be shut down due to unethical and fraudulent practices as well as theft.
