Huge waste of money! I cancelled my membership within an hour of opening it and was charged 2 separate fees which I only ever saw one listed when I signed up. None of the information was current or accurate as I checked my own personal information to see how accurate it was. So of course the information I was really seeking was useless. Multiple people listed as family and nothing current whatsoever as far as addresses or employers, or anything else relevant to what I was seeking. Don't waste your money! I got no resolution just some poor explanation about the two fees I was charged.
Review: We needed to find a (1) person, there was 3 of us looking at the website @ [redacted] we decided to go with their website because there was a choice of $9.95, 29.95 or $59.70. Because we only needed to look up 1 person we decided on $9.95. We put in my credit card information. That was fine, until the next morning we received an e-mail stating we were being charged $59.70. I checked our bank and charges were pending for this company for $59.70. We went back to the website to check for accuracy, well low and behold their website where we chose the $9.95 option is no longer there. So we contacted People Finders and were treated very rudely saying there was no such options on their website and no they were not going to refund our payment.Desired Settlement: We would like a full refund of $59.70. Although we found some information, the rudeness, misrepresentation and the aggravation we went threw I am not willing to pay $9.95. It is unbelievable and wrong they way people treat disabled individuals.

Below is a link showing the product you are referring to (using random criteria to protect your private search history). [redacted] Our records show the 6 Months of UNLIMITED Reports $9.95/mo ($59.70 Today) product was selected. As stated your card was billed $59.70 that day for 6 months of access to our service. One Single Background Check Report on PeopleFinders.com is $29.95. We have reviewed your account and found that you have already generated over three reports on at least three separate individuals. Per the Terms you agreed to and the usage on the account, the charge is non-refundable. As our service provides access to unlimited reports and other features for a membership fee, our Terms do not allow for refunds but simply allow users to cancel anytime to avoid future billing. Per your request over the phone on 9/17/2015 the automatic renewal of your membership was cancelled. Your membership will expire on 3/14/2016 and if you are free to access the service until that time.

Response:
We only accept purchases on PeopleFinders.com and not while the user is on external websites. We are sorry if you misunderstood what was displayed on the offer page but we do not offer an UNLIMITED Background Report product for just $9.95. We feel we have already explained that the product you selected was 6 Months of UNLIMITED Reports $9.95/mo ($59.70 Today). The charge remains non-refundable.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Thank you for giving at least most of the money I see you took afyrt all only 9.95 from my account so I feel the matter closed .
Review: I used PeopleFinders "PF" website to obtain information about 1 person. I paid $2.95 for this service. Surreptitiously and absent my consent PF signed me up for a monthly service and charged my debit card $24.95If their website includes notice that they intend to sign you up and then I would have to affirmatively cancel that membership then this notice is inadequate. I never got notice that they would charge my debit card for a monthly service that I did not use.PF acted in bad faith by not revering the charge for $24.95 because I never used that service and cancelled within 30 days once I saw my debit charge in my account.A contract never formed because I did not knowingly assent. A service contract requires assent.Desired Settlement: Reverse the charge for $24.95. PF should also cease and desist these deceptive practices. If PF refuses I intend to bring action in Utah small claims court.A contract never formed because I did not knowingly assent.

Response:
We have reviewed your account and found that directly after your purchase of $2.95 for a Public Records Report, a full-page offer was displayed for a three day trial to our Membership. Our records show "Yes, sign me up" was affirmatively selected instead of declining the offer directly below. We did not receive cancellation within the three day trial. Therefore, $24.95 was billed on the fourth day. Per this complaint, and as a onetime courtesy, we will refund the membership fee. Please allow three to five business days for this to reflect on your account.

Review: I signed up for a trial membership with PeopleFinders.com on 02/04/14. It was advertised to offer $1.00 reports. I generated one report and was charged approximately $0.99. I neglected to cancel my membership within 3 days, and was charged $24.99 on 02/07/14.[NOTE: According to the agreement, this amount would be auto-billed monthly - unless I cancelled the membership.) However, when I looked at my credit card statement, I noticed a second charge for $24.99 on 02/10/14 for 'PFREWARDS' (SEE BELOW). I have no idea what 'PFREWARDS' is nor did I agree to signup for it. I contacted PeopleFinders by phone to request that my membership be canceled immediately (which was processed/confirmed by email). I was not offered any refunds. In this case, I feel I should be receive a refund for these charges. To pay almost $50.00 for one report (which cost $1.00) is ridiculous! I would never have agreed to signup had I known what t these charges would amount to. Our records show this customer signed up on 2/4/2014 for a three day trial membership at $0.95 which provided her with a three day people search membership. As stated on the website, this membership renews at $24.95. During this same checkout process, they had affirmatively selected to enroll in a 7 day free trial with PeopleFinders Rewards through a full-page post transaction offer. This additional membership provides the customer with discounted reports, including background checks for $1.00 which are normally $49.95 per report. PeopleFinders Rewards renews at $24.99 per month. Neither one of the two membership trials were cancelled with the agreed upon time limit and therefore the customer was billed the membership fees. This customer called PeopleFinders on 2/14/2014, cancelled her membership and discussed why the charges occurred. Given that members can conduct unlimited searches for a monthly membership fee our terms do not allow for any refunds and simply allow members to cancel anytime to avoid future charges.
Review: In Nov 2013 I used People Finders to search for a friend. I found the information I was seeking so I cancelled the account. In Dec I noticed on my bank statement I was billed for $24.95 for their service so I sent an email and called them to cancel the service again. I was told my $24,95 would be returned. In Jan 2014 I stopped getting paper copies of my statements and since then I never noticed until Jun when I received a paper statements I noticed that I was being billed so I contacted my bank and closed the account. I have been billed $24.95 each month but people finders say I'm not being billed. My bank will try to get them to refund the last two months May and Jun but I would have to work with them to get the rest of my money. Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr = $124.75. I have copies of 3 different cancellations from them. The customer service rep said the problem maybe due to the fact that my email address was misspelled. And since I did not cancel the misspelled account I am not due a refund. She was supposed to send me that info on 19 Jun 2014 it never got to me. I only have one email used with this service and I cancelled it. all I want now is my money back. I know they can look at the information on either account and tell that they are not used.Desired Settlement: Refund my money and make sure this so called misspelled account is closed. They cannot bill me anymore at least I'm sure of that.

We have reviewed our files and found an account was opened in your name on 11/30/2013. At that time one single report was purchased then user activity stopped. Then, on 12/22/2013 a second account was opened in your name but with a different credit card and email address. The email domain on this second account was spelled [redacted]" instead of the [redacted] domain used on your first account. There is no way for us to link two accounts together if a user creates a brand new account with separate registration information. On your second account instead of selecting one single report you selected to enroll in a trial membership for unlimited searching. We did not receive cancellation for this trial until 6/19/2014. Per that request we closed your second account [redacted] and refunded one charge of $24.95 as a courtesy.
Our records show you had first contacted us by phone on 6/14/2014 regarding your initial [redacted] account. The representative informed you that this account did not have any recent activity or membership. The representative also noted that you declined to give your card number in order to locate the recent charges you were seeing and that you stated no other emails were used. On 6/19/2014 our Customer Care received another phone call from you. During this call we were able to locate the account under [redacted] using your card number. The representative closed the account and refunded the May membership fee of $24.95 as a courtesy and to account for the confusion caused by your two accounts.
We have reviewed your other more recent contacts by phone and email and found that you stated you have already put these charges under dispute with your card company. Because of this, you will need to follow their policies and procedures regarding their dispute process. We will be providing any documentation requested by your bank regarding your registration and the product selected on our self-service website. They will review this information and make a decision on the validity on the charges. Usually this process will take a few billing cycles and they will notify you of the outcome via mail.

Response:
I am rejecting this response because:
I filed a complaint against this company in Jun 2014. I received notification that a file number (#[redacted]4) was assigned but not that the case was closed. I may have overlooked it but a review of my PC for all correspondence from People Finders or the Revdex.com did not show the notification. In any case my bank have not concluded their investigation and asked me to get the information in writing from people finders that they had told me on the phone. The reps gave me the info on the phone about my email address being misspelled and a second account number being used within minutes of signing up for the service. One was a checking account the second was a credit card. I would not give them the complete number by phone when I called to ask why they continued to charge me since I had called an written asking that the case be closed. Only after I closed the credit card acct. did I call them and gave them the number and was told of this misspelling. So I requested a notification of the closure to the correct email address but never got it. When I called to inquire again since an attempt to charge the acct again I was told there was no notice and would not be notice of the account being closed. They say now the account is closed. Please reopen or file as second case because my bank is still investigating and I did not know the account was close until I read the response in the history of the case.
I want a refund for service that someone else go the benefit of from Dec 2013 through May 2014. $24.95 X 6 months. They did refund the fee for Jun 2014. My bank is investigating and I need the information relating to the misspelled email address account. And the use if that card for service which was apparently used during this time.
Review: This service offered a 7day Free trial with a $1 fee for the first week. Within the 7day periodI have been charged two amounts. One amount for $24.95 and then again for $29.93. I even called to cancel the service the within 1 day. I cannot contact them via phone easily and when I did talk to someone she said my acct had been cancelled and money to be refunded. After that call was when the second fee of $29.93 was deducted from my bank acct. This is unacceptable. And they can get their money immediately and they state it takes up to 5 bus days for refunds. SHould be able to get refund immediately also.Desired Settlement: I want my refund immediately

Response:
Our records show both a three day and seven day trial was selected by this customer on 9/15/2014. The three day trial allowed them to run unlimited basic searches on the website while the seven day trial to PeopleFinders Rewards allowed them to receive discounts on the larger reports such as background checks. We show both memberships were utilized with multiple searches ran and one background check purchased at $1.00 rather than $49.95. The three day trial had ended therefore they were charged $24.95 on the fourth day. On 9/22/2014 the account was closed through the online account manager. The $24.95 fee was automatically refunded since the user would no longer have access to the membership.
We do not offer a product at the price point of $29.93 nor do we see this charge on your account. This means that either another account was created with a separate email and password (and the charge is for a different dollar amount), or the charge comes from a separate company from us. Please review your statement and feel free to contact us directly so we may locate the additional account.
Review: Simply stated. vendor has SHADY / SLICK BILLING PRACTICE of opting-in consumers into subscription services through their web portal. I procured services for $1.95, within 5 days I'm being charged $24.95 per month perpetually. What makes matters more interesting the vendor DOES NOT PROVIDE any form of ongoing invoicing or statements or indication when services are being automatically renewed, either monthly or annually. IT IS UP TO THE CONSUMER to identify that the rub / charges are manifesting on what ever form of payment that was initially utilized. I'm certain that I'm not the first nor the last consumer that has been exploited by this practice nor will be the last. Immediately upon cancellation via their web portal (which incidentally, the option to cancel IS NOT CLEARLY PRESENTED by the billing or membership account section, and must be accessed from a separate customer support request form on a different web page), you are refunded for the previous months payment. This I'm sure is some form of tribute to psychologically offset customer frustration. Additionally, when calling in the option to cancel is one of the first options presented on the auto attendant. I believe this is as much for convenience as it is the #1 customer service request, because of the aforementioned stated practice. Incidentally, I never used the service beyond the $1.95 for it was unable to provide any useful useful information / data. So in essense, I was unbeknownst charged year for services ($300), never using the service once for that period of time. I strongly feel this organization is undeserved of its Revdex.com rating as a result of its SHADY / SLICK BILLING PRACTICE. I'm curious if the sum being charged is at a denomination that flies under interstate consumer protection laws. Would this be a concern of my states Attorney General?Desired Settlement: A refund beyond 1 month is requested for completely unutilized service auto-opted into by SHADY / SLICK BILLING PRACTICE.

At the time of purchase on 8/12/2013 you chose to receive a discounted price ($1.95) for signing up for a 3 day trial to our Membership.
You had the option to cancel this membership trial at anytime via your account manager on the website, via email, or via phone.
We did not receive any notification that you wished to cancel this trial. The 3 day trial has ended; therefore, you were charged the membership fee on the fourth day, and for every month thereafter.
Our records show that you completely closed your account through your online Account Manager on 9/27/2014. Because you would no longer have access to the benefits of the membership, you were automatically refunded $24.95. Then on 9/30/2014 a supervisor contacted you via phone per your request and issued an additional refund of $24.95, as a courtesy. There are no further courtesy refunds available on your account.

I am rejecting this response because: Its a nefarious consumer practice and reeks of scam. A more detailed investigation is warranted. Do your home work. Revdex.com please review the following as further content to support deceptive billing practices:
Review: I was billed for a subscription that I don't remember subscribing to. I paid for a couple searches on behalf of my father. It must not be obvious or I would remember. I remember clicking carefully to try to avoid any subscriptions. I made a deliberate effort against this. How did I end up getting billed $24.99 for a monthly subscription.I want a refund. It's false advertising to trick people into subscriptions with subtlety.Desired Settlement: Please cancel my subscription, delete my credit card information from your records and give me a refund.

Review: Several months ago I selected a one time search on People Finder phone####-###-####. I just noticed a $24.95 charge on my American Express statement which I NEVER authorized. Per American Express this charge has been going on for months. American Expressed placed a block on People Finder. I just called People Finder, spoke with a woman by the name of [redacted]. I explained the problem. She claimed that People Finder has been sending me monthly emails about the reoccurring charges. This is not true. I told her I would file a complaint, she told me to go ahead, there was nothing I could do about it. In my opinion their tactics are deceptive and fraudulent. I should also add I told [redacted] to cease charging my account immediately.Desired Settlement: Reimburse my account for every unauthorized charge or send me a check for same.

I did not see an avenue to respond directly to people finder. The reason they do not have any information on me is because I NEVER signed up for a trial with them or as a member. I just checked with my credit card company, American Express. $24.95 has been charged monthly to my account since December 29, 2013. Unfortunately, I did not review my statements, however, there is nothing authorizing a deduction nor approving a membership. Please advise how I can respond to the companyThank you

Given that we do not find the charges in our database with the information provided and she states she sees charges from People Finder, we feel this complaint was made to the wrong company. We feel we have made it clear in each of our responses that we cannot assist if the information associated with the charges is not provided by this customer. Providing the dollar amount and date of the charge does not narrow down the results sufficiently. We request again that this customer provide more information in order for us to locate the charges and assist. They will need to call us directly, using the contact information we have already provided here, so that we can locate the charges using the credit card that has been billed. We will need at least the first six and last four digits of the credit card number. To be clear, the only suitable response would be for the customer to provide the information used when making the purchase on PeopleFinders.com or call our Customer Care department and provide the card number on which the charges took place.
Review: I want to report more than one issue with this company, they appear to be a bait and switch scam. They advertise a free people search and a couple different options if you join. I joined the three day trial and wasn't satisfied at all. I got the same public information that I get when I don't pay. It assembled a "report" that includes a background check and several other information gathering options to help locate the person being searched, (marriage, divorce, and census records, etc.) When I clicked to review the "report" it gave me the same basic information that I get when I use the free service. When I called their customer service line I was connected to "[redacted]" who then proceeded to tell me I just wanted to argue when I was merely trying to express my dissatisfaction with their services. I tried several times to explain my complaint. I asked to speak with a manager or supervisor and she said there wasn't one. She then ended my call and hung up on me every time I called back, seven times to be exact. At which point I realized they were not into customer satisfaction to there discredit. Unfortunately I didn't look at their reviews online before trying these services. After searching, I have yet to find a positive review. Can someone from your office look into this and take appropriate action if you do indeed find what I and apparently others have experienced with them. I would like to be refunded and either a public warning issued at the site page or they be shut down. Anything short is going to say it is ok to scam hard working people everywhere. Please take action to stop there ill practices. Thank you in advance. [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like for them to refund me any and all money they have taken out of my account. After reading several complaints I cannot be sure they only charged me once and for just the trial period so I want to be sure they refund everything. I will also be filing a complaint through my bank to insure they do not add any charges. In all I would like a public warning be issued by media and on their site page and see no reason why they be allowed to continue operating this scam.

Please find attached three screenshots. Example 1 shows the information available for the customer's selected listing prior to purchase. Examples 2 and 3 show the information that was priovided after purchase. Please note that prior to purchase no addresses, phone numbers, birth records or bankruptcies were displayed. If you were unable to view your report they are stored on PeopleFinders.com for 90 days. You will need to login to your account at PeopleFinders.com/login, then click the "My Reports" link in the upper right corner of the page. You will be shown a list every report you’ve ordered. You can click on any of the reports to view them online. We are sorry that you did not receive the results you were hoping for. When you order a report, our system searches through billions of public records and collects every piece of relevant information. PeopleFinders pays for access to this data, so the charge is for us to conduct a search on your behalf, not to return a specific result. Feel free to review the Terms of Use on PeopleFinders.com if you would like more information about refunds or other policies.
Review: About 6 month ago, I signed with People's Finders for a promotion to find two robo-callers, a thing we have been experiencing with numerous crooks that abuse the phone system because the government does not properly controls this type of shady business. The promotion indicates that for a price of 0.95 I had 3 days to use the service and after the 3rd day I would be charges +/- $24 per month. I am sure I terminate the promotion the following day but Peoples negate I did it. To make it worse Peoples charged me since, $24 twice each month. The unethiocal part of this shady deal is that Peoples remained silent in spite of knowing I was not using the system at all and charged my [redacted] almost $50 until this month that I discovered the abuse. I complained to [redacted] who in turn called Peoples and close the account. Peoples argued that I had not terminated the agreement, that I signed for two services the same day (a duplicate) why would I do that? and denied crediting my credit card.Organizations like Peoples are not properly controlled by the government or organizations like Revdex.com and therefore, are allow to abuse seniors like me and those who falls for their promotion. It is a disgusting practice that should be controlled. For example. A caviat should be incorporated CLEARLY stating that If the following month no use is reported, the subscription would be terminated automatically. This, UNLESS, the person buying the promo agrees to continue being charged. Perhaps that person intends to use the service on a continuous manner.I feel they are crooks and I hpe Revdex.com will be able to do something to protect us against this type of promotions.Desired Settlement: 1. Refund the money paid for no service.2. The government to act to stop or control this type of legal fraud commited against us senior citizens.

Review: I used this company for a one time transaction on 4/10/2015. I specifically indicated I did not want a trial offer as one of the choices. I was then billed on 04/14/2015 for $24.95. I called and wished a refund and cancellation of this. The Customer Service did cancel any offer I had but will not refund the $24.95 that was charged to my debit card when I had only authorized a withdrawal of $0.95 on 04/10/2015 for a one time search. I feel this was false advertising on their part and not legal to remove funds from my bank account without my authorization. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I wish for the company to refund the $24.95 that was taken from my account without authorization. Thank you.

We are sorry that you did not receive the results you were hoping for. When you order a report, our system searches through billions of public records and collects every piece of relevant information. PeopleFinders pays for access to this data, so the charge is for us to conduct a search on your behalf, not to return a specific result. We are unable to provide a refund, but we will be happy to offer you a free search to help you find the facts you need. Review: SCAM!!! Hello: Normally I deal with a Company called "[redacted]" for retreiving information. Upon having difficulty with thier website, I decided on another search source (Peoplefinders.com) to obtain information. After paying the fee for info, what I got was absolutely NOTHING! All the report showed was the number that I supplied, the location which I already knew by the area code on the number that once again, I supplied and that it was a cell phone which again, I already knew. Upon emailing them, they responded with "While we can not refund your money, we will offer you a free search". FREE SEARCH??!! Thier searches are absoulutely worthless and does me not a bit of good as a paying, already DUPED customer!! Upon calling them after receiving their slap in the face email, I was once again insulted by a rude customer service rep with a bad attitude! Upon explaining my qualm, she again informed me "no refund will be issued" and when I proceeded to inform her that "I normally used [redacted]", she abruptly interuptedd and said "We are not [redacted]". "We are Peoplefinders". Talk about adding insult to injury!! Man, a sure fire way for your company to fail is to provide poor customer service!! This company STEALS YOUR MONEY!!Desired Settlement: This situation is clearly about about the lack of principles of this business. I am requesting a full refund and I wish for wide spread communication as to the fraudulent activity of Peoplefinders.com Thank you, [redacted]

Review: Hi, I'm [redacted]. I accessed [redacted] on 08/29/2014 looking for someone at the request of a friend. There was NO information available on this person. I received a 2 page print out with three (3) names on it and none had information on the individual I was seeking. The second page was blank, except for: NO RECORDS FOUND IN THREE BOXES. I wasn't given any indication that I would be charged $24.95 per/mo. for the last twelve (12) months (a total of $299.40 as of August 2015). I'm not using my age (68) as an excuse. I should have checked my bank statement more carefully (I just didn't want to be depressed every month). Nevertheless that isn't an excuse for peoplefinders to take advantage of me. I WANT MY MONEY BACK! This was a one-time thing, and I never visited peoplefinders again. I certainly didn't authorize them to STEAL $24.95 from my account each and every month for the last 12 months! Please help?Additionally, I asked my bank to put a hold on this account, but this isn't enough. I called the ([redacted] number today and spoke with Lori. in customer service. She put me thru. to a supposely supervisor's VOICEMAIL. No one in management would speak to me. She said that people finders wasn't a member of the Revdex.com. Again, I desperately need you'll help. Thank you much and have a nice day!/s/: [redacted], 09/08/2015[redacted]. [redacted], [redacted]Desired Settlement: In a nutshell, I would like peoplefinders to refund my money back because they provide NO USEFUL SERVICE to me (refund $299.40). I had no idea that they were going to charge me $24.95 each month for the last twelve (12) months. This is fraud pure and simple. They relied on my age (68) in order to take advantage of me./s/: [redacted], 09/08/2015.

The automatic renewal was mentioned in standard text on each page of checkout and it is the online consumers responsibility to read and understand what they are purchasing. You made an online purchase with our company and, as stated, users may cancel online or over the phone. As a courtesy we have refunded the most current membership fees. Due to the Terms you agreed to and the amount of time that has passed since the other membership fees have been charged, you are responsible for the other charges. Again, you selected the monthly membership and failed to contact us to cancel for over a year. As stated clearly and concisely several times on during checkout you were to be billed each month until you cancelled the membership. Our customer service was available to take your cancellation at any time and our phone number is listed each month directly next to the charge on your statement. Additionally, the Terms of Use you agreed to simply state that by using our service you are certifying that you are over eighteen years old. It does not ask or discriminate if a user is a senior or not. Feel free to review the Terms of Use on PeopleFinders.com if you have any other questions or concerns.

I am rejecting this response because:Totally unacceptable. Please inform the [redacted] concerning this complaint. I stated that I didn't want to use Peoplefinders services any longer because what they were providing was a FRAUD. I still have the two (2) page print-out from Peoplefinders that show that they were providing NO service. How would I know if I didn't log in? Peoplefinders are designed to entice people to log onto their website and ambush them with legal technicalities. I went to the [redacted] and found what I needed. Peoplefinders should surf the Public Libraries of America and stock their data pool with the Libraries research. Please Contact the Local City/County [redacted] on my behalf. Conversely, I'll contact the [redacted]. I will not accept less than my full refund of: $299.40.Thank you much for your valuable time and consideration.Respectfully submitted, [redacted], Victim/Injured Party #[redacted]
I signed up to use the service for a three day period. Advertising claims that it is a business you can trust to obtain information. I wanted basic nformation on someone. The information I received was erroneous. I canceled after the one search. I was charged 19.95.
to calim you will provide basic information ad yet the information listed is wrong. Bad customer serive as well as a un trustworthy site.
Scam.
I went on this site trying to find information about an old friend. I could immediately see that this site was useless and immediately cancelled my membership exactly as directed. OF COURSE, another charge showed up and when I called to ask about it the VERY RUDE costumer service rep said it was some random cancellation fee. I tried to talk to a manager because the costumer service rep was so rude and she said there was no manager and it wouldn't make a difference to talk to anyone anyway. She finally let me leave a message and we will see if I get a call back. WHAT A JOKE!!! Do not waste your time or money!!!
I signed up for a ONE TIME search for $2.95 only to find that I was billed an additional $24.95 eight days later for a reward I never asked for. People Finders website should be closed down because they are out to defraud the unsuspecting public. I spoke with someone and the person insisted I signed up for the reward. When, where and how? He was cocky and rude and sure that he was covered??? Please please, do not use this website. They are SCAMMERS!!!
Review: I was looking through my bank statement on 11-18-2015,when I noticed a charge for $19.95 to Peoplefinders. The only problem is that I never used the site and I have no intention of ever using the site.I don't even have an account with them.Desired Settlement: I want 2 things and 2 things only:1.A refund of the $19.95 that was taken from me without my consent.2.Any and all information they have about me purged from the site.

Review: I contacted PeopleFinder by calling their [redacted] number provided on their website. Speaking to someone live was easy and fast. However, the three employees that answered the phone were extremely rude. The worst customer services I have ever received. The first person I spoke to, [redacted]. He answered the phone promptly. I told him I was having issues removing my personal information from their website. I told him I tried numerous internet browsers, computers and different phones. I was unsuccessful in removing my information when I followed the prompts on the PeopleFinder website. I explained to [redacted] that when I clicked their link to remove my information, it automatically takes me back to a general search bar on their site. I told [redacted], I didn't feel comfortable having my personal information exposed on the internet. No remorse. He just kept telling me to try a different computer because it was not a network issue from their end. I answered I had already tried different brands and types of computers, two types of phones and two different desktops along with three different web browsers. I asked if I gave him my information if they could on their end remove my personal information or at the least make it private. [redacted] said he was not able to with a very sarcastic tone. He added that there was nothing he could do. I then asked for a supervisor to which he replied there wasn't one available to speak to. He then repeated again there was nothing he could do and that "the issue was my problem to take care of". At this point of my frustration I hung up. I then called back and a female employee answered. I told her my story and issue. She was also rude. Very angry tone. She asked for my name, age and address. She said she could not find my information and then hung up on me without finishing the conversation. The third person I spoke to, [redacted] was very stern. She answered the phone with "hello". I explained my issue yet again, and [redacted] then gave more attitude, so I said, "Thanks, good bye.Desired Settlement: I would like this company to remove my personal information or at least explain to me other options that actually work so I can remove my information myself.

Also the exact way you typed in your search. We ran a search using your name and came up with 80 different matches. Please help us pin point which one you are so that we remove the correct information.

To: Whom It May ConcernThank you for the quick reply. Here is the link to my information on the PeopleFinders website. [redacted]I got this link by searching my name on Google. It was the tenth link on Google at the bottom of the first page on my end. When I search directly on the PeopleFinders site, there are so many to sort through, I didn't know which one was mine. But the link I provided is definitely my personal information. When I click on "View Details" to the right of the page, it directly takes me back to the search on PeopleFinders. I am unable to view details, nor go through the removal of information when I follow the prompts.Thank you,[redacted]
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
