Review: I got involved with this company in middle of September. I had gone to website due to losing a pet, paid the one time fee choice and found pet five days later. When pet was found I called throne and only number for this company and advised them that my pet had been found. I have been getting billed ever since October and found that they had also overcharged my credit. I have been emailing and leaving messages with this company and not one response since September. I had to cancel my credit card so that they could not keep charging me.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the money from Septembers overcharge and the monthly charges from October to December.

Review: I paid just under $100 to have pet amber alert send flyers to local businesses with my missing cats information on it, along with calls to local neighbors & alerts to local pet shelters & veterinary offices in my location. Not only were no businesses contacted or sent any flyers, but none of my surrounding neighbors got any calls. My cats poster wasn't even put up on the [redacted] page like promised. I've called the business over 8 times in the last 2 months asking for a refund & have not gotten a single call back from anyone nor received any of my money back. Review: My roommates dog went missing December [redacted] in Omaha NE. I signed up for this product and the only correspondence I ever got from this company was a receipt for the purchase. Receipt No: [redacted]. I was never contacted by email or phone by this company and neither was my roommate. When I called to get a refund I was told they had sent an email and refused to refund the money I was charged. At this time, the only thing this company has done is claim to help find lost pets, charge my credit card, and that's it. Review: I contacted a company called petamberalert.com for my lost cat [redacted], they advertise a service to send a pet amber alert. The sales representative told me that someone will contact me before the alert was sent out to discuss the specific area it had to go to, I told her that I did not want it just going out without this as we needed to narrow down the locations which she said was possible and I will is possible and absolutely will be done. Again, during the conversation I specifically asked her if it can go to a specific area and communities around us and she said yes. She said to go online and first sign up and a pet detective representative will call me. No one called or contacted me to set this up as promised. The next thing that happened was that I received an email confirmation that the pet amber alert went out. I was in shock how it went out without any call to me. I think that's wrong and very deceitful just to take money and not provide the service they sold me. Especially when it comes to a lost pet.

2. I cancelled the following month ofcourse and they continued to bill me for the next 7 months of service. I finally got through on chat and the lady credited me one month and asked me to email her manager. I want credit for every penny they charged me and services that I did not request along with their deceitful initial amber alert that not a single neighbor got at least in my community.

They also cannot continue to bill my [redacted] without my authorization and services I did not request.

I think they put also term and conditions online that are deceitful because the sales in done via chat and then a customer goes and waits for a call and no one calls them. I also left them voice messages to cancel because it was impossible for me to get through and they later told me you cant cancel via phone (messages) or email, that they have some automated system. In my opinion this is a way to trick people. Any written or verbal cancellation should do, I also cancelled via chat. I think I was deceived from the beginning and deserve my money back.

I cancelled via Chat and by talking to someone on the phone, I also left a voicemail and an email. In addition, the service was not provided as discussed with the sales representative initially, I have no idea where a message was sent. No one ever contacted me as requested to send the message as I asked. I deserve a full refund apart from any subsequent charges. I am not sure why I was continued to be billed after I spoke with the representative. This has nothing to do with the terms of service because the service was not provided.

Review: I contracted with PetAmberAlert.com on 4/**/2014 for lost dog recovery services per their website (send flyers, contact neighbors, call vet offices, etc.). We recovered our dog on our own and I contacted PetAmberAlert.com on 4/**/2014 to inform them their services were no longer needed. However, they automatically drafted my [redacted] account for services I cancelled for another 5 months (until I discovered it and ended the automatic billing). I have sent numerous emails and left many phone calls to their customer service department and have never received a response.

Review: On 8/*/14 I paid this company $109.98 to notify 25 business via a flier faxed and make 500 phone calls to neighbors in search of my lost cat. I also paid for a service for $9.95 per month to keep my missing pet posted on their site. I have spoken with several neighbors and no one person ever received a phone call to alert them of my missing cat. I have tried to call Pet Amber Alert twice. The first time it went into a voice mail promising to call back in 15 mins. I left my cell phone & home phone number along with a refund request & cancellation of the monthly service and never received a phone call back. The next time I called it said "this mailbox has not yet been set up." I have also e-mailed them twice requesting a refund and cancellation of the monthly $9.95 service as well. I see they have charged me the $9.95 on 9/*/14. So, at this point I want a full refund of $119.93 back and the monthly service cancelled. I have now wasted so much time trying to reach them and clear this up...time that should have been spent looking for my cat. Review: On 09/**/2014 our cat got out and we searched for hours; I found PetAmberAlert.com and paid $78 through [redacted] and as soon as I hit the button the cat was found so called company immediately (within 5-10 minutes) to cancel request and not be charged. I got an answering service and they took notes and time I called and said they'd have the call me, which hasn't happened yet. I sent 3 e-mails with no response and tried calling again today and just get answering machines for them to call back and they don't. I never even received a log in and password for site so don't have access to my account and when I put my e-mail in it says unrecognized even though they have sent me e-mails regarding our pet which is no longer missing and I respond back using their customer service e-mail and still nothing. I've filed claim through [redacted] as well and they are not responding to them and the charge has come out of my bankDesired Settlement: I would like a full refund since I called within 10 minutes of placing order so no work was even done on their part and even sent e-mail. Review: I requested PetAmberAlert.com's services on October **, 2014 via their website. I paid them $109.98 for their service of notifying my neighborhood via telephone that my cat is missing with a description. They are also supposed to send flyers to local animal shelters/hospitals with my cat's description in case anyone turned in a cat matching that description. I was supposed to receive log in credentials to their website immediately following payment to see the progress of my case. I never received any correspondence and talked with many of neighbors and they never received a call. I also called the local animal hospitals/shelters and they do not receive any correspondence from this company. They took my money and did not provide their services. I have tried to call them many times and almost every time you can't talk to a live person and you leave a message with no call back. When I have reached a live person they say they are just a messaging service for PetAmberAlert and do not work for the company. They say they are going to let the company know of the issue and request refund for me but I have never received a refund. I have threatened legal action against them but still I do not see a refund credit to my checking account. I have read that this company operates with only 1 individual. Review: I purchased the Pet Amber Alert package for an "Additional 500 Phone Alerts and 50 Additional Businesses" for a total of $119.94 on September [redacted], 2014. On Sept. [redacted] I called the customer service phone number listed on their website to inquire if this had been completed. I left a voicemail message, along with another message on Sept. [redacted], another on Sept. [redacted] and another today.. As of today, Sept. [redacted] I have had no response. I also emailed this company and have received no response. I have logged onto my account on their website and there is no proof that these services were done.

Of note, the original package I purchased for their services was on August [redacted], their website claims that the alerts will be immediately sent out via phone calls, faxes, emails, etc. As of August [redacted] I still did not have any way to know if the alerts were done, so I contacted them via Instant Chat on their website and I then got the list of neighbors and businesses that had been contacted, but this had not been done UNTIL I made the inquiry. ( I know this because later that day I received phone calls from neighbors who had gotten the alert!) Therefore, 13 days had passed and were lost in the search for my missing cat. Needless to say, I'm extremely disappointed in this company, their services and customer care.Desired Settlement: As I have no proof that the additional services I purchased have been done, and am getting no response from the company, I would like a refund for at least $119.94, if not for the entire amount I've paid to them which is $209.87.

Review: Signed up for a pet alert service with this business late at night on 6-*-13 and received an email confirmation of my order. The next morning I called with a question but no answer, I left a message. Later that afternoon my pet was found so I called again and got no answer, left another message. At this point my pet was not yet listed on the website and as far as I could tell none of the other services I paid for has been started. On 6-* I called again, no answer, left a message. In my frustration I went on their website looking for another means of contact and was prompted to "chat" with a customer service rep named "[redacted]". I explained the situation and he confirmed my pet had been marked as found and I would be refunded. When I noticed a couple days later that I had indeed been charged, I called AGAIN, no answer, left message. Then I emailed them on 6-* and received a same day reply with just a link to their refund policy, essentially stating no refunds under any circumstances, which I might have accepted had "[redacted]" not claimed I was being refunded, which is what I replied back and included a copy & paste from my chat with "[redacted]". Since then I have not received a reply or a refund. This business has horrible customer service and unethical practices. Review: PetAmberAlert.com advertises a wonderful package, in which it will call all neighbors in a certain radius, send out flyers and help to find a lost pet for a small price. However, I found that this company did not fulfill any of its claims, which it even openly stated when it e-mailed me.

When I contacted the company to show my displeasure and request a refund, I was ignored. Even worse, the company has continued to bill me monthly, for services that are not being rendered! It does not have any option on my online account to stop said billing, and all calls are not returned. I have sent two e-mails and left my information with three separate people at the company. I have had to block their charges and file a claim with my credit card company to stop the continuous billing.Desired Settlement: I would like this company to refund the money for the several months it has been needlessly charging me, and to advertise that they are a subscription company on their website. I also believe they should not advertise their services as a 100% guarantee, as I have proof that they did not fulfill even 50% of the services I ordered.

Review: The company stated that it would contact 1000 people regarding my lost cat but when I contacted them asking for evidence of the people that they supposedly contacted, I was unable to speak with anyone. I have complained to my credit card company as well as [redacted], all of whom state that I need to provide evidence that PetAmberAlert didn't contact anyone but I really have no idea how I would be able to do that--how to I provide proof that they didn't call anyone??!! Furthermore, since purchasing the service, I am unable to log into my supposed account. When I try to log into my supposed "account" on the PetAmberAlert website, it states that it doesn't recognize my e-mail address, which means that I can't access any information regarding the service that I was supposedly provided. Yet I received a confirmation of purchase via my e-mail account and my credit card was charged.Desired Settlement: I would like PetAmberAlert to provide me with the names and numbers of the people that they contacted regarding my cat. If they cannot provide evidence that they did indeed provide the service that I paid them for, then I would like them to refund my credit card.

[redacted] has forwarded the transaction to my credit card company (Citibank) and the credit card company has stated that the burden of proof regarding the non-delivery of PetAmberAlert.com's services falls on me, the consumer, and that I must provide documentation showing that PetAmberAlert.com did not contact 1000 people. I really don't know how it is possible for me to prove that the company did not contact the 1000 people they supposedly contacted if I don't know who those people are.
