In response to Revdex.com [redacted], please see the attached email to client along with the settlement.
[redacted] Sent: Tuesday, February 09, 2016 8:59 AM[redacted]Subject: RE: [redacted]
Good morning [redacted]:
In response to your return email, please accept the following:
1.  A signed name change document must be received as the lease is a contract.   As such, any changes (amendments) to the original contract must be documented and authorized in writing.
2.  The meter number located at [redacted].
3.  The name change documents were sent via email to [redacted].[redacted].
4.  There will be no letter stating your obligation has been fulfilled with [redacted].
5.  Once notice of the settlement payment being received, a pick up is requested and sent to the district for scheduling.  Either a box/label will be sent to you to package up the equipment or the district will send someone out to retrieve the equipment.  This usually occurs within 30 days.
6.  I have attached an invoice that you may include with your settlement check.
I am also attaching the most current Purchase Power statement that will need to be paid in full so that account may be closed as well.
Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
I appreciate the Revdex.com's intervention on my behalf, and Pitney-Bowes' willingness to do the right thing and not cause more hassle.
I hope my comments are put to use; it's a shame that my concern had to be handled in this manner. Customer emails should never be ignored, and staff levels should be adjusted accordingly.
Sincerely,

RE: Revdex.com # [redacted]

[redacted]Dear [redacted],
Pitney Bowes is in receipt of Revdex.com complaint # [redacted].  Pitney Bowes understands the frustration of the client [redacted] regarding the charges for the fraudulent PB Smart Postage account.

On 09/25/2014 the client sent correspondence stating that the account was not theirs as her business had closed over a year ago and she did not have Pitney Bowes service now or in the past. Following Pitney Bowes business processes the agent forwarded the information to cancel the account, cancel the services and issue credits to offset the fraudulent billing. The client again sent correspondence on 09/29/2014 and called regarding the same issue on 10/24/2014. Due to a Pitney Bowes process failure there was a lack of follow through on the part of agents involved. Pitney Bowes sincerely apologizes for the lack of follow up and the frustrations this caused the client. Pitney Bowes wants to assure the client that proper corrective action is being taken with those agents responsible for the lack of follow through.

The client can be assured this issue is now resolved. The charges are being cancelled, the account is closed, and the agents involved are being addressed. There will be no further billing on this account now or in the future.

Pitney Bowes expects their agents to provide world class service to all of our clients and unfortunately in this case that service fell short. Again, Pitney Bowes offers our deepest and heartfelt apologies for the error that occurred in this matter.

Pitney Bowes does apologize for any and all confusion and frustration this may have caused the client and does appreciate all the feedback given by the client. It is this type of feedback that assists Pitney Bowes in educating our staff to ensure we provide excellent client service.

Respectfully yours,
[redacted]%3

This is one of the worst companies I have ever worked with. They send their renewal notices many months to years in advance so if you are not sure when your current lease ends you may resign again for many years unknowingly. We officially ended our lease July 2016 and a return box was supposed to come for their MailStation August 2016. It is now the middle of December 2016 and I am still receiving overdue bills monthly including a collections letter. We have called many times to find out our lease was cancelled however it doesn't seem to translate to billing and we have never received the return box. Most of our calls are a minimum of 35 minutes wait time, and the agent puts notes into the file yet no action occurs. Do not work with this company!

[redacted] Dear Ms. [redacted]
I am in receipt of Revdex.com [redacted] Client states they cancelled their account online with case number [redacted] Now they are receiving a bill for the lease and for postage. Client canceled the lease July 13, 2016. Customer wants to terminate her account and receive return kit   Upon the review of the account, client did start case 06638117 online on 7/13/2016. On 8/25/2016 Pitney Bowes emailed her and explaining that her lease was still active until 10/19/2016. On 8/31/2016 Pitney Bowes sent the customer a settlement letter explaining that if she wanted to cancel early she would have to pay an early settlement fee. I do see that $150.00 was paid on 9/13/2016. I am having the account terminated right away and having all billing backdated to 10/20/2016 when the lease ended. RE: Revdex.com [redacted]
Dear [redacted],
I am in receipt of complaint ID [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] requests confirmation of the cancellation for the lease agreement between [redacted] and Pitney Bowes.
The aforementioned agreement was lease to own; meaning once the lease expired the client would own the scale, base, etc. and rent the meter only. A copy of this agreement and the corresponding terms and conditions are attached. Per the terms of the agreement, upon expiration the lease automatically terminated and rental billing for the meter commenced. The lease termination became effective 11/02/13 however notification of the request for account cancellation was not received at that time.
Since Pitney Bowes was not notified of the client’s request to discontinue service, rental billing commenced on 4/03/14 for the period of 01/01/14 to 03/31/14. The meter was received in December 2013 however; return of equipment does not constitute cancellation of the account.
Based on the above, the rental invoicing is valid but will be removed from the account along with any future billing. This decision is based on a previous communication regarding cancellation of the rental was received on 4/2/14, which predates invoice numbers [redacted] for the equipment rental.
Thank you for bringing the matter to Pitney Bowes attention. We are happy to explain the lease cancellation process and provide a viable resolution.
Respectfully yours,
[redacted]

I keep getting Robo calls from Pitney Bowes telling me that my account is over due for payment. The bill has been paid, and I have the cancelled check on my bank statement to prove it! On top of that with the [redacted] account, the payment was sent before it was due and they took 2 weeks to cash the check and then charged me not only a finance charge but an additional late fee!

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:We cannot except the response until all the fees have been settled. We are aware that it may take 30-45 days for the late fees/overage fees to be waived but since this matter has taken so long to resolve we are hesitant to close the complaint until everything is fully settled. We did note that the original amount of $520.99 which had been processed but never applied to our [redacted] account has been credited to our account as of 11-30-2016.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Pitney Bowes and their Purchase Power Account side are the absolute worse billing/accounting arm of a company you can imagine. I mail a payment on the 24th of October that is due on the 3rd of November. It sits around some place and doesn't get posted to my account until November 6th. And I get nailed with a $30.00 late fee because they are not staffed well enough to process payments. Good bye Pitney Bowes. You will no longer play your extortion game on me.

Dear [redacted]
Pitney Bowes is in receipt of Revdex.com complaint #[redacted]. Pitney...

Bowes understands the frustration of the client [redacted] in regards to the lease account [redacted].
In reviewing the account I do show that the client did contact Pitney Bowes regarding the damaged equipment. Pitney Bowes sent an email outlining the options the client had on 05-28-15. The client decided on the buyout option. The buyout check was noted to have been received on 06-22-15 by Pitney Bowes. The check was for $1887.50 with check number 15097. Unfortunately the check was not applied to the account as intended. Pitney Bowes does apologize for this error. The check has been applied and the lease is terminated as of 03-18-16. In regards to the equipment title, Pitney Bowes has updated the equipment as damaged in our inventory as we are not able to provide the title to the equipment.
Pitney Bowes appreciates all of your information and feedback. This assists us in educating our staff to ensure we provide excellent Customer Service.
Respectfully yours,

RE: Revdex.com - [redacted]

Dear Ms. [redacted],

Thank you for contacting Pitney Bowes Inc.

We have received your inquiry regarding the Revdex.com complaint that has been filed by Mr. [redacted]. To give you some additional insight on exactly what has transpired regarding this matter, on July, 2nd 2015 Mr. [redacted] purchased a RARE Life-Size 35" [redacted] Store Display Fiberglass Statue (Item # [redacted]) from [redacted].com. The [redacted] seller of this item Mr. / Ms. [redacted] selected [redacted]’s Global Shipping Program to facilitate the shipment of this parcel internationally to Mr. [redacted], who resides in [redacted]. The parcel was received at our processing facility in [redacted] on July 17th, 2015. Once the parcel was scanned into our facility to being processing our systems indicated that the parcel exceeded the maximum dimensions requirement for parcels to ship forward within [redacted]’s Global Shipping Program, which is 118 inches. The dimensions of this parcel were as followed:

26.00 inches – Height
42.00 inches – Length
29.00 inches – Width
Total Dimensions = 190 inches

For an item to be eligible to be shipped to you through the Global Shipping Program, the seller's packaging must meet dimension and weight requirements:

The package must not weight more than 66 lbs.
The package must not exceed 66 inches in length.
The package must not exceed the maximum dimensions of 118 inches.
Dimensions = length + 2 * (width + height).
Length is the longest side of the package.
The package must not exceed the maximum dimensional (DIM) weight of 66 lbs.
Dimensional weight = (length x width x height) / (dimensional factor) where the dimensional factor = 166.

[redacted] Global Shipping Program Link: [redacted]

Once the parcel was deemed “Oversized” the order was cancelled in our system by [redacted] CS, and a refund was credited back to Mr. [redacted] on July 21st, 2015. As per [redacted]’s Global Shipping Program Terms & Conditions, all oversized parcels are sent to [redacted] which is [redacted]’s asset recovery department until [redacted] advises us how to move forward with these parcels. We at Pitney Bowes are only the shipping facilitator for [redacted]’s Global Shipping Program. All rules & regulations for [redacted]’s Global Shipping Program are determined by [redacted] with this being their program.

Moreover, I hope the information that I have provided has given some clarity regarding this matter, and exactly what has transpired. We do apologize about any inconvenience this may have caused. If you have any questions or concerns in regards to this matter please contact [redacted] Customer Service Logistics at [redacted].
