Dear [redacted],

Thank you for taking the time
to write about your experience.  We
always welcome valuable input and feedback from homeowners like you.  I apologize if our interactions have caused your
family any undue stress or aggravation.
I have reviewed your complaint and personally looked into the matter.

future marketing efforts in your neighborhood.

We apologize for the

not hear from us again.  Hopefully this
will help to absolve our company of any wrongdoing.  If there is anything

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because the company did not address the major issue as noted below in my addendum dated 5/1/2014:
Regards,
[redacted]
Addendum dated 5/1/2014 by [redacted], homeowner to Power Home Remodeling Group
You did not respond to the major issue. Let me be more clear and blunt. I specifically said on my initial call I wanted to replace 1 window. I was never told, up front, that there was a minimum of 4 windows required to receive a quote. If your phone operators would have been honest, up front, this would have been a 30 second call and no time wasted. Instead, with full knowledge I only was interested in 1 window, the phone operator proceeded to schedule an appointment. When the person showed up at my door, I again said I was only interested in replacing 1 window. Half way through the two hour meeting, the salesperson said there was a minimum and not until after the two hour meeting he told me the minimum to quote was for 4 windows.
This is: 1) Dishonest, 2) Bait and switch, 3) up-selling, and 4) deceptive.
This issue is not resolved and will not be resolved until the owner of this company directs his sales staff that no calls nor meetings should take place if a customer wants a quote for less than four windows. If unresolved, the Revdex.com should publicly display this issue so that a pro-active customer could read and decide for themselves if they should pursue a meeting, given the minimum.

Warning dont call. If you have bad luck like me you will be bombared and pressured by their salesmen/estimator. After 3hrs into it I couldnt get him to leave. After 5 and half hrs into it I had to tell him to get the hell out in not so many words. (6pm to 11:30pm)
He was trying to pressure me into buying $50k in remoding cost. I tried to tell him that was to much and ill let him know but he wouldnt leave. Then he got it to 48k and I had to take it now or leave it. Then took it to 38k, take it or leave it then he brought it to 36k take it or leave it. Im like "dude you are pressureing me, I feel as if you are strong arming me to sighn" after I have told you I wasn't interested in your over priced quote. Finally he packed up and left.
Is this how they do business?? It must be if they are a million $ company now. They over charge people out the [redacted]. How many other people accepted the $50k deal when it can be done cheaper?? He proved to me they could if he was trying to sell me on $36K.
I have had other quotes done to do the same work, with the same materials and noone was even over $22K, what does that tell you?
Im a do it yourself guy. Nothing I cant do but the projects are building up so I gave it a shot to see if I can pay someone else to take a few projects off my plate.
Power was the first company I have ever had come give me a quote to do anything to my house. I do have the say it was a bad experience. It could only get better from there.
Which it did. Funny thing is every time someone came to give a quote I would tell them about Power and they knew who I was talking about before I even mentioned the name. That speaks volume.
I was promised a written quote/estimate and I didnt get it. All I got was a business card with $50K written on it. Really?? (wish I could post pictures)

Dear [redacted],

I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing leaks around your
roof.  I apologize for any undue stress
or aggravation this issue has caused you.

Two previous service inspections determined the leak was
directly related to the condition of the deteriorating chimney.  The cracks in the mortar are allowing the
stone to absorb moisture and eventually leak into your home.  We attempted to contact you earlier today to
schedule a Field Service Manager to come out to your home and make some minor repairs
to the chimney in an effort to make it water tight.

Please kindly return our call via the information noted
below so that we may schedule a service appointment with you.  We are just as anxious to get this resolved
as you are.  Again, I apologize for the inconvenience
and assure you we will continue to help in every way we can.

Respectfully,

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I do not want business cards to Power Home Remodeling as we would never use them. I assume that is where the gift cards would go. I am fine with closing this out as is because there is no resolution at this point. I just wanted the Revdex.com to know what they are doing.

Dear [redacted]:

Thank you for taking the time
to write to us about your recent remodeling project.  I have reviewed your complaint and personally
looked into the matter.  I apologize for
the ongoing issues with your roof.

The roof was installed on
July 10, 2015.  The leak was reported on
December 11, 21015 and a Power HRG Field Service Manager inspected the roof
during a service appointment on January 6, 2016.  Typically, issues stemming from an
installation related error present themselves within a thirty-day weathering period
following the installation.  January’s
inspection confirmed there are no installation issues or product defects.  The leak was originating from an area where an
existing sealant had failed between the fascia and the porch roof.

While this is not a Power HRG
related problem, we would be happy to address the issue as a courtesy.  We attempted to contact you to schedule
this service, but have were unsuccessful.
Please contact us via the information noted below so that we can schedule
a date and time to make the necessary repairs.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: it does not address the issue
Dear Mr
L[redacted]
I appreciate
your quick reply to my complaint, although I feel you are missing the point
completelyThe issue is not about the roof or the warrantyIt is about the
poorly re-installed guttersSince your company also installs gutters, one
would assume they should be capable of not ruining themThe gutters were
replaced poorly which rendered them inefficient, causing my mother to replace them
at her expenseYes, she signed your document, but she expected the gutters to
be in the same condition they were prior to the roof installationShe trusted
your expertise that the gutters would still be serviceable when you finishedIt
has nothing to do with a warranty, it has everything to do with the contractor
who put the roof on ruining the gutters
As far as
your professional suggestion, "would be to remove the gutter protection
altogether" I find that counter productive and hypocriticalAs your website
states, "Your roof and gutters were originally designed to be your
home's water management system, with the sole purpose of moving water away from
the houseUncontrolled water flow can rot wood, damage foundations, cause
mildew, and lead to expensive repairs to windows, siding and fasciaOur
micro-perforation leaf shedding system will keep the bottom of your gutters
clear of debris allowing water to flow freely through the gutter trough and
downspout and safely away from your home"
I hold your
company responsible for this situation and I do not find your response
acceptable for a reputable company

I am rejecting this response because:
Regards,
[redacted]
Again you say one thing and what you fail to reliaze is that you'd SALESMAN said another thing, that is why I again disagree with what your trying to explain, I see what your saying and that might sould good to you but again what your salesman said was different from what your saying, I would have just got the 3 windows done if that was the case, this is where lies, and miscommunication between you and your salesman comes in. If you can seem to realize that and think that your telling me what your salesman said you again are wrong.

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:This company can say what they want to try and make themselves look better but if you read the many reviews online I am clearly not the only person who has had problems with them. None of the materials they use are any different from another reputable contractor and if you are so sure of yourself, why don't you provide an estimate for the client to keep instead of only allowing them to view it on your iPad? The salesperson who came in would not leave - he kept badgering us about why we couldn't make a decision right then. Your sales tactics are appalling and you focus on people who fall victim to your pushy tactics - you basically try to make people feel like their family isn't safe unless they choose you. All the materials you say you use that are special were used by the contractor we went with who we've known for years. And the table, an accident??? It took months to get that check because we could never speak to a manager - we had some low-level salesperson we had to go through who told us we'd get $950 and then all of a sudden it was no, $800, because he misspoke. Not to mention that the amount doesn't cover fixing the table because it is not fixable. Keep saying what you want, I will do whatever I can to ensure no one ever uses you.

Dear [redacted],

Thank you for taking the time
to write about your experience.  I have reviewed
your complaint and personally looked into the matter.  I am truly sorry that you feel as if you were
taken advantage of regarding the number of windows you purchased.

Please keep in mind; it is
not until the existing window is fully removed do we find out how extensive the
wood rot is.  Just because the wood isn’t
fully deteriorated, doesn’t mean the window does not need to be replaced.  Your new windows are energy efficient and you
will realize more savings in your electric bills having replaced all four
windows instead of just two.  Also as you
stated, having replaced all four windows on the first floor creates a more
uniform look across the front façade of your home.

Our goal is to create a
gratifying remolding experience for every homeowner.  Unfortunately, this was not the case for you,
and for that I apologize.  We do not
teach, train or promote unethical business practices.  I would encourage you to contact me directly
if you would like to discuss some sort of monetary compensation for your
dissatisfaction.  I can be reached via
the information noted below.

The company promised high quality windows that were measured to 1/4 of a inch. I had very small windows installed. They also ,without my knowledge , opened a credit card in my name so I could not stop payment. That even after I cancelled the card, wells fargo should be investigated for fraud too. I have pictures of windows that are 1 and 1/2 inch smaller that old frame. All I wanted was the correct sized window. They said they did that cause house may settle, really, house is 25 years old and that would be way to much.

We had all of our windows replaced and power home remodeling group did a fantastic job! Very efficient throughout the entire process!!
