We loved everything about the entire process with power! We are very happy we chose the right company!

To The [redacted] Family:

Thank you for taking the time
to write to us and provide your feedback.
I apologize for the issues you are experiencing with your roof, gutters
and gutter protection system.  I have
reviewed your complaint and personally looked into the matter.

Attached is the Preparing
Your Home for a Roofing Installation document signed by [redacted] on
2/20/2014.   It states, “If the existing
gutter protection needs to be removed prior to the roof installation and
re-installed following the roof installation, Power Home Remodeling Group is
not responsible for the warranty on the gutter protection.”  That is not to say we will refuse service all
together.  I apologize if you were not treated
with respect during your previous interactions with anyone from our
company.  This matter will be investigated
internally and appropriate action will occur.

If the water overshoots the
gutters, our professional suggestion would be to remove the gutter protection
all together. We would be happy to provide this service for you at no
charge.  If you chose to move forward
with this option, please contact our Warranty Service Division to schedule an
appointment.

Respectfully,

A salesman came to my door earlier today in 12 degree temperatures, who wouldn't take "no thank you" for an answer. I was holding my barking dog by the collar, I explained to the young man that my cousin installs windows and was going to replace mine in the springtime. I told him to "stay warm" and said "have a good day". I then shut the door and the young man continued to yell to me through the door, stating that he just wanted to give me a card. I said "No thank you. Goodbye." About three hours later, well after dark, my wife came home and remarked that it was strange that our motion detector light was on, on the side of my home. Just then, I saw the young man from hours earlier walking briskly down the street, away from my home. I followed and he quickly disappeared. I found him, standing stock still, near the the front porch of one of my neighbors. I approached him, with my wife close behind and asked to see a card. He told me that they were only for people who wanted an estimate. I asked to see his credentials and attempted to take a picture of the card he had hanging around his neck. He pulled it away and stated that he didn't want me to "post it". I told him I wasn't going to post anything. I just wanted to know if he was legit. He was elusive, would not tell me where he had parked his car, showed me a generic looking brochure, with no information on it, other than a website. POWERHRG.COM He was very skittish, not forthcoming with information about the company. He came across as very suspicious. I called the police and they said that they would cruise the neighborhood and see if they could find him and check him out.

Dear [redacted],
Thank you for clarifying your
address and neighborhood.  We will not
market in your community.

My home phone number is ###-###-####. The reason for my complaint is the robocalls and inability to request removal from their system without giving them permission to use my phone number! If you provide it to them, please be sure they understand that, other than removing my number from their...

list, I do not want them keeping or using it again. The company's information, once again, is Powers Home Improvement [redacted]  [redacted]  Chester, PA 19013.  The number they list for contact is: ###-###-####

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]
 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:While I appreciate the fact that my information will be "flagged" to prevent further communication; the responder mentioned that "after a certain period of time information is entered into the system". I filed my complaint the day after I was approached by these people, so the company knew of my displeasure within 48 hours. My information should not be entered, period. I am formally asked to be deleted from a database--I know this is possible and I want it done immediately. ANY database being used allows for information to be located and deleted and telling me that it is impossible to do this is as disingenuous as the way in which I was approached to begin with by this company. Also, at no time was the biggest part of my complaint addressed:  LYING TO ME--very specific lies---about work being done in my subdivision and my door was being knocked on AGAINST CITY ORDINANCE as a courtesy when really, it was a sales call.  I would like the LYING approach to sales addressed--this is not only unethical it is not allowed by my city. Why are your sales people using this approach of lying to people to gain access? My story is the same as many others listed on both [redacted] review as well as on the Revdex.com website---it is unethical, people don't like it, it is predatory and yet it continues. I want this addressed, please.

Dear Mr. [redacted],Thank you for taking the time to provide this valuable feedback.  I apologize for the unfortunate experience you have with our representatives.  Going forward, we will avoid your neighborhood and surrounding coummunity as best as we possibly can.  I have added your home...

address to our internal 'Do Not Knock' (DNK) list.  This should prevent future instances such as this from happening again.  I apologize that our interactions were less than desirable, but give assurance we will do everything within our power to make sure it does not happen again.  Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions or concerns in the future.  Sincerely,Eamon L[redacted]Director of Warranty ServicePower Home Remodeling Group, LLC(888) REMODEL ext.  Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I have made numerous calls to this business was placed on hold when I asked to speak to the sales representatives that I dealt with. They kept transferring to different individuals in the same fashion they kept sending different individuals to my house other than the original salesman when I called with an issue. I am done playing games. They do not want to make the original salesperson or manager who sold me the windows and doors to me available so I can discuss the lies and misrepresentation they gave to me. So it seems that they do not want to resolve this issue. So I will embark on a campaign to spread the word among the veteran and law enforcement communities through ads in those communities  magazines not to purchase any windows or doors from Power Home. Believe me as a retired Sergeant Major and Police Detective I have a very wide network. They think it was ok to cheat me out of a few thousand dollars, they will lose in the long run. No one cheats me.

Dear [redacted],
Thank you for taking the time to write about your
experience.  We always welcome input and
feedback from homeowners.  I apologize that
our interactions have caused you so much undue stress and aggravation.  I have reviewed your complaint and personally
looked into the matter.
We did not realize we were contacting
you and even calling you as often as you claim.
This is the first time I am learning about your dissatisfaction and will
take the steps necessary to rectify the situation.
We will systematically address
this issue as follows; flag your records in our database to prevent future
calls from anyone in the company, remove the number from the predictive dialer,
and post the number to our own internal DNC list, which prevents it from
loading into the dialer system again.
Furthermore, your property will be added to our Do Not Knock list, which
will prevent any future face to face interaction.
We apologize for the
inconvenience and give assurance that we will do our best to make sure you will
not hear from us again.  Hopefully this
will help to absolve our company of any wrongdoing.  If there is anything
else I can do to assist, please contact me directly via the information noted
below.

Dear [redacted],
Thank you for taking the time
to provide us with feedback on your recent remodeling project.  I’m sorry you feel we did a less than
satisfactory job on the installation of your new roof.  As you know, Power HRG sent two Field Service
Managers to your home on 5/5/2015.
During the inspection, there was a heavy downpour that lasted over 30
minutes.  There were no leaks visible at
that time.  We believe the leak you saw was a leak from a pan of epoxy
sealant used to re-flash the chimney pipe.
Typically, we do not replace
chimneys or chimney caps.  However, we do
replace the pipe collar around the base of the chimney where it meets the roof
sheathing.  You may recall the photos of
the chimney cap indicate the cap is in good condition with no evidence of holes
or corrosion.
Please continue to monitor
this area of the roof and contact me if the leak returns.  I can be reached via the information noted
below.

Harassing..that is the best word I can describe these people. After accepting a "free" estimate for windows, we let the sales guy know it wasn't in our budget to replace the windows at the time of their visit. The quote was good for one year which we told them we would think about it. After several calls asking to reschedule with the manager who was in our neighborhood, I told them we couldn't do it at this time. I received a very rude response from the caller and he basically hung up on me. since then, my husband and I have received a call from them EVERY day, even though I have asked to be removed from their call list..
I wouldn't buy anything from these people ever now. The constant calls has placed them on my blocked call list. They tout their Revdex.com rating and Angie's list rating, however that should be adjusted to reflect the constant badgering and relentless annoying calls you receive even after you tell them NO!

Dear [redacted],

Thank you for taking the time
to provide us with such detailed feedback.
I have read your complaint and personally looked into the matter.  I sincerely apologize for any undue stress or
aggravation we may have caused.

I understand how difficult it
is to rearrange your schedule to be home for a remodeling project.  In this industry, we often encounter
unforeseen circumstances that complicate the installation process and require
multiple visits to resolve.  I’m sorry
that you had to experience this.

I’m sorry that you feel the
Installation Managers were disrespectful and downplayed the issues.  Our intentions were never to deceive you or
attempt to deflect the responsibility.

Please keep in mind we have
not ultimately rejected your request for a discount.  Referencing the email correspondence between
yourself and Matt F[redacted], as recently as last week, we were willing to honor
your request and our offer still stands today.
However, in order to do so, we need to continue this dialogue
directly.  Please contact me via the
information note below in order to resolve this matter.

Rich the salesperson was nice enough.
But his demo and breakdown of products
Was very time consuming
We wanted 4 windows replaced
I also asked with it would cost for siding
since he was there. Again came out the samples another half hour of talk.
He had two pricing steps buy now and a one year price. The buy now price for siding, trim, gutters, windows $70,000 good God really!!
If I only wanted the windows, $6,914
He left no estimates nothing in writing.
He offered 7% financing. After he return to the house putting his numerous samples
We told him we could not afford the prices.
Which was just about what we pay for mortgage. He left me a card.
