I am rejecting this response because:1. Eamon L[redacted] states that contract from 8/7/2013 was voided. We have a signed contract from 8/14/2013 that says 5.9%.  Final signed contract on record. [Document attached of signed contract]
2. Powers voided the 6/28/2013 contract that Eamon L[redacted] references in his response.  When we requested a copy of the voided contract on 8/19/2013, Powers failed to provide leaving us with only the 8/14/2013 signed contract on file (attached).
3. Buyers did not know the [redacted] thermostat was improperly installed.  HVAC Specialist was called because Buyers assumed there were issues with HVAC system. When HVAC specialist inspected the systems, it was stated that [redacted] system was improperly installed.  The Powers agreement states that they will take responsibility at no cost to buyer, but it does not state that it will not reimburse for services that reveal neligent work done by sub-contractors. The [redacted] Company provided a new thermostat at no cost due to improper installation and recommended working directly with [redacted] contractors versus sub-contractors for the [redacted] system (telephone conversation).  [redacted] Company sent unit via next day air, but Powers requested we not install so that the sub-contractor could review the work.  When sub-contractor came to install the new unit, he stated that, "It looks like it could have been installed incorrectly."  However, he could not confirm as the HVAC Specialist had already corrected the issue (the unit was set under incorrect setting and it needed to be set at heat pump)[Document attached and underlined on page 2 and 3] [HVAC assessment attached]

I am rejecting this response because: the company director of warrantee hung up on me when I requested that he deal with me via email and not over the phone. Further this complaint is not over until Power Home remodeling voids the two [redacted] lines of credit that name Power Home as the recipient.

Though they state several inaccuracies in their response 'from time to time' I would not consider the same as the frequent calling and harassment and the fact that I 'gave them my contact info' for an initial consult does not equal concurrence to harras us after we made it plain to them to stop, I will agree that this matter is settled as long as they leave us alone.

This is a bigot company. I'm so disappointed at their customer service. I am a single 28 year old female with a master degree and a professional career. This is my second home. There should be no discrimination!
Just got to vent! !! Never during attending basically an all male college. .. or working in a male dominated profession over the past 8 years have I ever been offended until today! I'm beyond pissed and offended at the disrespect from power home remodeling group in getting a quote. Yes I am a female, yes I am the sole home owner, yes I will be paying cash (my cash might I add), yes I seriously mean business when I want a quote, and hell yes for the third time there is no spouse you need to consult with! !!! grrrrr!! Your loss. . one less quote to add to my pile, so has made my decision so much easier.

Power HRG
does not strictly limit all project estimates to a four window minimum.  For example, someone might purchase one bay/bow
window, or a window and a door.  When
homeowners are fully educated on our products and services they frequently change
the original scope of work.  A homeowner
may request an estimate on windows and actually purchase a roof.  Someone may plan on replacing the windows on
their first floor only, but after learning about our industry leading, energy
efficient products, they sign up for the second floor too.
 
As a courtesy,
I would be happy to offer you our services, regardless of the number of
windows you wish to have installed.

I am rejecting this response because:
The attachment you sent us has zero information about a credit card. I'm not sure you understand what a credit card application looks like, but just in case you've never seen one, I'm attaching it here.
What we signed for you was authorization for a credit check, which is exactly what your form states. Please explain what allowed you to process credit cards for us, and therefore give us a hit to our credit scores. We will be receiving another hit when we close these credit cards we never authorized.
There is nothing about what happened here that's legal, and I demand an explanation, admittance of fault, and compensation for our troubles. Otherwise, we will be seeking legal help.

I am rejecting this response because:
I still don't if the leak is fixed and no one from this company told us our house would be this cold with the ridge vent.  If I would have known this I would have had a regular roof put on my house for a lot less money.  They also tore up the stucco between the two sections of the roof and the cauk job they did is a mess.  Overall still not satisfied with this work. I am not willing to close this out and I'm not having any more work done until I'm satisfied with what they did.

I am rejecting this response because:
This is a polite response but I am not confident the situation will be resolved. When I informed the solicitor who knocked on my door that it was illegal to so so, he apologized and told me he wasn't aware of that local law. Three hours later I saw his supervisor/colleague still parked in my subdivision concluding his rounds. While I am confident that the young man I encountered shared this information with his partner, nothing was done to make sure local law was being observed. I believe the response I receive each time I ask this company to be accountable for its actions is simply lip service and therefore not truly an attempt to resolve the complaint, it is simply placation. When the local offices (all in IL) are actively charged by HQ to make changes and to implement those changes I will feel like I have received a valid response.

I had a estimate from power home remodeling group for a new roof for my house. They showed up at 8pm and finished at 9:30pm which was fine. At the end when they gave a price for a new roof it was $460 per month for 72 months. I told the man that I would like to think about it. He told me that I could not,the price was only good for right then. If I waited till the next day I would not get that price and the new price would be $1200 per month. I asked him why not the same price and he said it would cost the company to much money if he had to come back to my house at a later date. So they were going to charge a new potential customer an additional $53,000 because they did not want to send there salesman back out to my house so I could have an extra day to think about it. I think that is an abusive use of high pressure sales. If this is how they treat a new customer I wound not trust them to do anything on my my house only a fool would. By the way I was told at the beginning of the estimate that it was good for a year. I guess they lied to me by omission when they did not tell me about the $53,000 surcharge for waiting 12 hours. When they start out lying they should not be trusted
