A salesman from PHRG came to our house to give us our free estimate and we got more than enough information The information we gathered from the hour conversation will be great in guiding us to make informed decisions about these big jobs that we plan to do soon Thank you for that! There COULD be potential for this company to have even more of a clientele than they currently have The products and process for which they stand for SOUNDS amazing but that is the point As an educated consumer though, our job is to take that information and compare it equally with other manufacturers or companies to make sure that we are in fact, getting the best material, workers, warranty (which after some research after rep left does seem to be one of the best for windows) & price considering that the jobs in question were going to be totaling over $60,000! That is not a decision that should have to be made on the spot but as anyone who has sat through these pitches knows you will be "offered" one price after listening to how wonderful the product material is, the certifications they carry, the professionals they hire, their communication skills are top notch (I would have liked to find out firsthand), they really do get into intricate details about everything which is what that double in price quote they gave us must be paying for The time it takes to embellish (sell) the customer is a priority for PHRG and it must be working since they have been able to not only stay in business but even grow this business (as you will learn in the pitch) That being said, researching information on your own may take extra time, but if you are an educated consumer who wants to make sure that "you get what you pay for but NOT overpay" then it would be well worth your time to do just that You may be surprised at what you find is available and realize that what PHRG is offering is nothing more than what is considered standard If we were given a detailed quote and information in writing about these great products that they offered on the day of the home visit then there would have been the opportunity to do that price comparison which they do not want you to be able to do After realizing that the hard sell was not going to work with us, the salesman quickly excused himself but not before letting us know that he could probably get the price down by over $12,from the original quote! After spending hours convincing us that PHRG is so honest & credible, you end our conversation leaving us even more convinced that we made the right decision And for that, we thank you!

Dear *** ***, Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience and for giving us the opportunity to work on your home. I have reviewed your complaint and personally looked into the matter.Power Home Remodeling works with third-party lenders to finance home remodeling
projects. We do not offer in-house financing, nor are we involved in the decision making process of approving or denying credit. We simply submit the information you provide to the lenders we have partnered with. If a homeowner is unable to secure financing or pay via cash, check or credit card, we are unable to move forward with the project. If the maximum approval amount is not enough to cover the cost of the project, the project must be downsized The calls you received were not collection calls, but calls looking for additional information that may be used to increase the maximum approval amount of your credit line. We have attempted to increase the approval amount with several different lenders and each time the requests have been denied.Lastly, if you are still experiencing any warranty or service related issues, we’d be happy to help. Please contact our Warranty Service Division ###-###-####, press option #*.Respectfully, Eamon L***Director of Warranty Service

Employee of power home remodeling came to my house this afternoon to solicit remodeling services, after being told several times to leave my property this young man ignored my wishes even after I explained he was trespassingHe then went on to explain how much more money he makes then me He could not provide any identification that he works for the companyI made a complaint with my local police department

Dear *** ***,
Thank you for the feedback regarding your upcoming remodeling
project. I apologize for the confusion
following the pre-installation inspection.
Power Home Remodeling Group is not a structural remodeling company. I am sorry if you were led to believe otherwise. It is for this reason that the price of your project
was reduced to better reflect the scope of work involved.
Please contact us after your contractor makes the necessary
repairs to the ceiling joists. Hopefully
we will have your new roof installed by the end of the month. We are just as excited as you are to finish
this major upgrade to your home.
Please feel free to contact me directly, via the information
noted below, if you need any assistance during your home remodeling experience. Thanks again for your feed back and please
let me know if there is anything I can do

These guys are a jokeTwo of their salesmen came to my door yesterday soliciting my businessI made an appointment for today and the person who was going to measure the house and provide the estimate called this morning to confirm time, location, etcHe asked if I owned the house with anyone elseI said no, I own the house (my wife doesn't own it because I bought the house before we were married)Even so, the salesman insisted that my wife be available today because "it's a big home improvement" decisionI said I understood that but she can't be available because of her schedule and as it is, I barely have time for the appointmentBesides, I added, I'm making the decision per my wife's wishesThe person on the phone simply would NOT listen to me and kept insisting that my wife HAD to be available when he came to the house and wanted to rescheduleAfter a few minutes of this back and forth, I told him I didn't need the estimate and hung upHow am I supposed to feel confident in dealing with this company when the second point of contact won't listen to me?
Very poor customer service and I barely even started dealing with themAmazing

I am writing to tell you how absolutely horrified I am by your sales tacticsJust about an hour ago, I felt threatened by one of your salespeople, not because he actually threatened me, but because he would not leave my houseJust yesterday I was approached by one of your saleswomen named “Chelsea” in a BJs“Chelsea” asked if I was interested in re-doing the siding, windows or roofing on my houseI said I had wanted to change the siding on my house, but that I wasn’t able to do so right now due to financial reasonsHowever, “Chelsea” reassured me that a salesman could come by to take measurements and provide a quote - nothing more, short and sweetKeep in mind that I asked specifically whether the process would take a long time, as I have three young children under years old, and evenings are very busyI was told that he would be in and out - that he would take measurements, leave an estimate, and we could call back when we wanted to have the siding installed or if we had any questionsAn appointment was set up for tonightI was excited to get a quote, as we really hate our ugly old siding and are VERY interested in energy efficient optionsWill I be giving my business to your company? NO WAYNEVERTonight, I felt threatened by your salesman, Michael, because he would not leave my homeI literally had to YELL at him to leave my houseI am NOT the kind of person that would EVER do this - EVERI make it a priority to be kind and polite to everyone I meet - salespeople, strangers, people on the phone, everyoneHowever, this man simply would not leave my homeAt first, he did his measurementsEverything was normalHowever, while I was helping my kindergartner with his homework, my husband was trying to explain to "Michael" that we didn't have time for an actual conversation immediatelyWe are interested, but we would need to speak later on the subjectMy husband asked for the quoteNo quote was given"Michael" said that your quotes are "too high” to simply be given to potential customers - potential customers MUST sit down with the salesmanThat was the first inkling that something was wrongI had been told that this would be short and sweet, but already that was turning out to be a lieI have three young children, including a newborn baby, that needed to get a bath, dinner and bed“Michael” finally said he would leave, but then he said that he WAS GOING TO COME BACK TO OUR HOUSE AFTER HIS DINNERAt this point, my husband began to lose his patienceHe came to get me (taking me away from my child who I was doing homework with!!!)My husband wanted me to tell the salesman the SAME THING - we needed to be taking care of our small children now“Michael” seemed convinced he needed to talk to us both, so my husband brought me in to show “Michael” that neither of us would be interested in a sales pitch right nowI kindly explained to “Michael” that not only did we need to tend to our children, but that both my husband and I were busy with work tonightAt this point, "Michael" started to show me photos that he had taken of my home, and he began to tell me all kinds of things that are "wrong" with my house - many of which were simply untrueThe funniest one: he claimed that the entryway of my house was "rotting" - HAH! What he pointed out as "rot" was a place where my dog had literally chewed on the wood about a month ago when we didn't let her in when she wanted to come in the houseAnyway, I said that I appreciated his concern about my house, and would gladly take his name and give him our businessI told him that my husband is ALSO a salesman, and I understand the importance of giving "Michael" the credit for the saleI said, once again, that we needed to tend to our children, and that it was too late for a meetingHe wouldn't leaveI then stated that we know we need repairs, and that we simply do not have the funds currently to make an expensive siding purchaseWe are waiting on a bonus that my husband should receive towards the end of this year, and THEN we can make a purchase like thisDid that balk “Michael?” NOPEHe said that waiting two months would be devastating to our houseOK, “Michael,” what do you want? Do you want us to give you the ZERO DOLLARS that we currently have in order for you to put up siding RIGHT THIS MOMENT? Where is the logic here?!
After he started a pitch that began to insult my home, I basically threw up my hands and said, “Oh, ok, you don’t get itI can’t make this purchase right now, and I cannot stand here any longer, because my kids need my attention right nowI’m sorry, but you need to leave my house.”
He seemed surprised, and said, “What did I do?”
I literally moved to the door, opened it, and asked him to leaveI said that I didn’t know what else to tell him, but that I literally could not make a purchase right now, and that this conversation had to endHE WOULD NOT LEAVEI told him that at this point, he had lost the sale, and would not be getting our businessHE STILL DID NOT LEAVEI am a womanI was in my pajamas, getting the kids ready for bedI began to feel threatenedThis man WOULD NOT LEAVE MY HOUSEHe simply would not leave! I kept gesturing to the door, saying that he needed to get out of my houseMy husband came into the room, leaving the kids in another room for safetyI began shouting“PLEASE LEAVE MY HOMEI AM NOT KIDDING AROUND RIGHT NOWI FEEL THREATENED BY YOUR PRESENCE AND THE FACT THAT YOU ARE NOT LEAVING MY HOUSE.”
It took me shouting at him for a good two minutes before he would leaveThe sad thing is that I am guessing Power Home Remodeling Group is TELLING YOUR SALESPEOPLE to NOT leave the house of the people they are trying to sell toBased upon reviews that I am unfortunately only now just reading, this is not an isolated occurrencePoor “Michael” was likely just doing his job, trying to make his numbersBut guess what? You, Power Home Remodeling Group, CANNOT tell your employees to refuse to leave someone’s houseI am a strong woman, but I began to actually be afraidAnd guess what? Once he left, and I thought it was over? He knocked on my door again! We ignored him for a few minutes, but then he knocked againWhen I finally answered, he said that the light in my car was onOk, thank you MichaelI appreciate thatBut the fact that I was literally afraid to open my door to you? Not so goodThanksDo I need repairs to my house? YESWill I EVER give Power Home Remodeling Group my business? NO WAY As much as Michael may be a nice person in “real life,” he became a threat to me and my family when he would not leave my home after I asked him NUMEROUS timesThe fact that I, as a normally kind and polite person, had to SHOUT at a person to leave my house, means that your company is beyond bizarre and, to put it frankly, does not deserve my businessI will be posting this everywhere I can POSSIBLY think of so that no other woman has to feel threatened by one of your salespeople! SHAME ON YOU, POWER HOME REMODELING!!!!!!

Dear Ms
Dettlo,
I recently
left a voicemail on your home phone number.
Please know that it was not a sales or marketing call from our
company. I was simply hoping to discuss
your complaint live, rather than via a third party forum
As with
every complaint of this nature, I’ve already engaged our regional office in
Illinois. I personally spoke with the
Regional VP of Marketing. Going forward,
we will not solicite your neighborhood for future business. I'm sorry that we have caused you this much stress and aggravation simply by knocking on your door. If there is anything concrete that I can do to express our willingness to rectify what we have done, please let me know.
Respectfully,
