Precision Air & Heating, Inc. Reviews (1087)

12/22/16 - we had our AC/heating unit serviced as per our aggrement with Precision. The technician, Eddie P[redacted], did a great job. He was very knowledgable and answered all questions. We were very satisfied.

We had Precision Air & Heating, Inc. install an ac unit the end of July. They were so nice at first. They filled out a rebate from APS and told us that they would turn it in right away and we should receive our rebate in a couple of weeks. The guys who installed the unit accidentally dropped putty down the chute and it got stuck on my lifetime filter. I was told that it would be replaced. Over one month later, no rebate and I finally got my filter today 9/11/15 after calling the office and threatening to report them to the Revdex.com.

When I called the office the guy that answered the phone told me that they didn't turn in the rebate papers until the end of August. As soon as they get your money, it seems they don't want anything more to do with you. Our ac unit still makes noises like our old one. The person who sold us the unit told us to give it a couple of weeks to settle. We tried to contact him, but he won't answer emails or calls now.

Our company received notification on 9/15/2014 that this complaint was closed as resolved. Subsequently we sent emails addressing the fact the Revdex.com entertained this complaint since it's of a financial nature. We have yet to receive a response to our communications. However, to ensure we stay within ?Revdex.com guidelines, we are still submitting a rebuttal within your desired deadline. Our rebuttle is as below.

It is clear Ms. [redacted]'s representations of her complaint are erroneous in nature and not factual. We deny her statement regarding an agreed cancellation amount of $280.00. Please refer to the attached quote where Ms. [redacted]s acknowledges with her initials that she is aware of the non-refundable fee.

Precision Air & Heating, Inc. stands firm as in our initial response regarding this complaint. Although law does not require it, our company permits customers to cancel installation contracts unilaterally. However, for instances such as this, a standard cancellation fee is charged to compensate for its services, fabrication of materials, etc. on September 2, 2014, our company refunded all of Ms. [redacted]'s deposit except for the cancellation fee.

We have complied with all regulations (both Federal and State) in addition to adhering to the contract with Ms. [redacted]s. We are supplying all of our initial evidence in this complaint. Her cut and paste emails with reference of bogus nominal figures and statements should be negated from this complaint. The contract should be that factor upheld (as it would be in court of law).

This is our final request and attempt for this complaint to be dismissed immediately and abolished from consumer and contractor records. This specific case will be turned over to legal counsel for an immediate and accurate resolve from the Revdex.com should our requests continue to be unanswered.

Regards,

To Whom It May Concern: Precision Air & Heating, Inc. respectfully responds to the above complaint ID for Mr. Cody S[redacted]. Mr. S[redacted] has been a customer with us since July 29, 2014. Mr. S[redacted] reached out to our Company on 6/4/2016...

for a warm air issue in his home.  He was connected with our answering service that handles and forwards incoming calls outside of normal office hours to our technicians.  Our Business Center then prioritize’s the call and the specific details within the call.   Mr. S[redacted] is not familiar with our process with after-hours calls so his perception that it’s not being done correctly in ignorant.  His claim he was guaranteed same day service is not likely as our answering service has serviced our company for over 5 years and is familiar with how we operate and knows not to make guarantees. Mr. S[redacted] was requesting service on a weekend in which the Arizona temperature spiked to a high of 118 degrees.  Being we are a high profile and very reputable company one can only imagine the immediate requests for emergency service that we received during this time.  We find that when outside temperatures reach this level each individual customer believes their situation is an emergency. Mr. S[redacted]’s request being just one of them.  While we do advertise 24/7 emergency service we also do comply with this advertisement.  In this instance, Mr. S[redacted]’s call was not defined as a serious, unexpected, dangerous situation requiring immediate action. His air conditioning unit was blowing warm air and his home temperature was at 80 degrees.  While we sympathize and understand his perception of his request being an emergency it is our hopes that he would understand we had received calls in which customers had no working air whatsoever, elderly, infants in homes with temperature readings over 100 degrees on single unit homes. I believe anyone would agree these calls would be deemed higher priority over Mr. S[redacted]’s situation.  We offered Mr. S[redacted] another day for service but he declined.  Additionally, if Mr. S[redacted] had not let his Preventative Maintenance Contract expire in August of 2015 we would have been able to service him within 24 hours (this is one of the benefits of holding a contract with our company). We are happy to hear that Mr. S[redacted] was able to obtain service by another company.  However, Mr. S[redacted]’s claim that we are uncaring and should be responsible to pay his repair fee is outrageous.  Our advertisements are valid. Our Company has serviced the Valley for over 20 years, maintains an A+ rating with the Revdex.com, has receiving numerous awards for its service and quality of work over these years in addition to being the#1 ranked Air Conditioning Company in Arizona (by Ranking Arizona).  An uncaring company does not receive these types of credentials. We do not agree with the desired settlement desired by Mr. S[redacted] to have our company reimburse his repair fee.  He declines to even notate what his repair fees are  Either way, this request is not warranted.  This complaint is a clear statement of a customer who interprets his situation as the only situation to tend to immediately and  therefore emotionally attacked our character and advertising during his emotional state.  We ask that you close this complaint immediately and quash Mr. S[redacted]’s erroneous claims. Sincerely, Erik J. B[redacted] Owner

I received timely and honest evaluation from Precision Air (and, specifically, technician Aaron A[redacted]) and was charged a fair price for the repair work rendered. I would happily recommend Precision Air to friends, neighbors and Revdex.com readers.

8/29/2013 - We were contacted by the homeowner for a diagnostic call. At the time of service, the customer opted to purchase an agreement on two (2) units over a three (3) year period for the amount of $742.50. On this date, the customer also received the benefits of the agreement. The homeowner received a "no charge" service call and discounts for services provided. We have provided invoice [redacted] for you in addition to the terms & conditions of the agreement.

05/15/2014 - We were contacted by the homeowner for a diagnostic call. The homeowner was not charged for a service call. The homeowner was charged  a discounted rate for getting the unit operational.  We have provided invoice [redacted] for your.

05/21/2014 - We provided annual maintenance under the customer's; contract  to inspect two (2) systems in accordance with the agreement holder terms and conditions. We have provided the terms & conditions for you in addition  to our invoice [redacted]. this is the homeowner's maih issue in this complaint. This visit represents (1) of her annual maintenance inspections previously paid for under invoice [redacted].

06/19/2014 The homeowner contacted our office to see what is covered by her agreement. We informed her of the benefits of being an  agreement  holder.  The  homeowner  then  requested cancellation of her agreement. She was under the impression the complete tune-up was included as her annual inspection. We informed the customer an inspection and a tune-up are two separate things. She stated her agreement does not cover maintenance and stated we had "false  advertising". We  have already  provided the Revdex.com with our "on Hold" message which the homeowner  references.

Again, we spoke with the homeowner and clarified the difference between a tune-up and an inspection and  addressed  the  request  to  cancel  the  agreement. The  homeowner's  request  to  cancel  the agreement was not honored as the homeowner had already received over $600 in benefits of holding an agreement which included free service calls, inclusions and discounted pricing.

To answer the homeowner's additional qusetions in this complaint, the charge of the $742.50 referenced was for the purchase of the Agreement on two (2) AC systems. Secondly, the homeowner was NOT charged for a service call. Clearly, our invoice [redacted] shows the homeowner was NOT charged a fee.

Lastly, the homeowner's complaint now turns from an Advertising complaint  to one of a financial nature. Both of these claims are clearly erroneous and the documentation and recordings are evident of such,

Dishonest, Precision Air & Heating, Inc. is not. We hope this post-graduate will take a second look at the facts and come to a clear reality that we have provided and followed through with what was advertised, communicated and documented to her. We have already tried to communicate with the homeowner but her perception is still clouded.

It is my hopes that Precision Air & Heating, Inc. does not have to spend a third time addressing a complaint of this nature.

Sincerely,

Owner

I have been using Precision Air & Heating for several years & am very pleased with the service. My landscaper cut a line going to the A/C unit Friday morning. I called Precision and they were out that afternoon. Very impressed with the technician who came out, Aaron A. He had it up & running very quickly. The next day, I had a scheduled maintenance for the A/C unit, Steve S came out & did a very thorough inspection. I also got some helpful tips. Thanks Aaron A & Steve S. Both are an asset to the company!! [redacted]

I've suffered several summers of brutal heat with a heat pump that performed terribly. I tried compensating with a large window air conditioner but having only one room cool wasn't sufficient. This year I finally had enough and had to get the cooler fixed.
I read a bunch of Yelp and Revdex.com reviews of HVAC specialists in the valley and after calling a few for quotes was starting to get discouraged. When I called Precision they were friendly, answered on the first ring, and gave me an appointment that suited my schedule without any hassle. Their diagnostic price was the most reasonable that I found for a licensed and bonded company.
The next morning the technician they sent out, Manny, called in advance of his arrival giving me plenty of time to be present and ready for him. He showed up promptly and was very friendly and professional. In a short time he was able to give me a comprehensive overview of the state of my cooling system and make recommendations on how best to handle the problem. I wasn't upsold products and services that I didn't need. Manny gave me options for the bare minimum to get the cooler up and running as well as the options to ensure that I don't have to suffer any more in the heat for this and future summers.
While the cost of the service was a bit more than I expected to pay I'm glad that I chose Precision and was given a professional repair by a company that stands by their work and has employees who aren't on the take. If you have an AC problem this summer you shouldn't hesitate to call Precision and have them take a look at your home.

AC died around noon on a Friday. Called 4 businesses and none could come out that day except Precision Air and Heating. Scheduled an appointment for between 5 and 9. Aaron A was at the house toward the early part of the 4 hour window (around 5ish pm). He diagnosed the problem within 10 minutes of being on property (worn out capacitor) and had it fixed within 20 minutes of arriving on property (even with me pestering him with questions the whole time while he was working). I actually felt it took longer for him to write up the work order then to get the AC running. I was somewhat surprised on the cost of a capacitor (close to 3x what I would have guessed) but I guess that is the price for living in the Phoenix area during the summer.

We came home from vacation to a broken AC and a very hot house. We called Precision right away and a technician contacted us right back to schedule an appointment as soon as possible. When KC, the technician, came to our home he was pleasant and efficient and had our best interests at heart. After replacing one part, and not trying to oversell or cause us to overspend, he was on his way. Our AC is working better than before our vacation. Thank you!

Our A/C suddenly stopped working after normal business hours so I called Precision Air and Heating. Megan took my distress call and had a service technician at my house within the hour!

Their service technician, Aaron A[redacted] was terrific. He confirmed my suspicions and attended to replacing two capacitors which had gone bad. Our unit worked within a half hour of his arrival. However, while it was well after normal business hours, dark out and our initial issue resolved, Aaron noticed a potential problem with our fan motor. Aaron patiently explained the 'potential' issue. Then, without the 'hard sell' he very patiently took us through our alternatives and helped my wife and I reach the decision to replace the fan motor.

When he removed the fan motor, we discovered that it would likely seize up within the near future. This confirmed our decision to have him replace the fan motor.

The end result is that our A/C Condenser Fan has been purring like a kitten.

Kudos to both Megan who took our call and to Aaron A[redacted] for a job very well done.

Manny was very professtional and informative. Explained everything in an knowledgeable manner.

I recently had Precision Air and Heating out when our unit stopped working. It was middle of the summer, hot and very humid. It was over 90 degrees in my home all night. They were very busy when I called for service. I was told someone would be out by 9:00 AM the next day....and he was! Matt T[redacted] was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable about our issue. He had the parts on his truck and we had cold air cooling our house in a couple of hours. Very appreciative for this company. I have used them for many years and would highly recommend them.

I work for our own 40 year old family business here in the valley. We have built our business on trust and dependability. Just as Precision has.

Thank You !

Manny was on time polite knowledgeable and professional
