Precision Air & Heating, Inc. Reviews (1087)

Nick R. came out for my annual check-up and was on-time, courteous and polite. Nick quickly located a few trouble spots on my water heater and recommended a few fixes. I've been a customer of precision heating and air for the past 2 years, and I've been very happy with the services they provide.

Nick R[redacted] has been my tech. He is very courteous and helpful. I am very pleased with his service and have recommended him to others.
Thank you, [redacted]

Nick came back today to finish work on a new water heater. He put in a pipe line from the water heater to the garage floor. I am very pleased with the added protection. And even more pleased that Nick suggested doing this to provide me with the comfort of mind in case of any water leak.

jeff and davin were the technicians who installed our new hvac unit. they were prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and worked smoothly and efficiently. a pleasure to deal with them and would recommend them and their company for sure.

Louis did a great job. Very professional & knowledgeable.

Don M[redacted] was with him / gave me straight answers & good advice. I felt he was honest & gave me a fair price.

I bought a new packaged unit which I'm having installed in a few days.

garrett was very helpful and he explained all the work before he did it it was a pleasure doing business with precision air and heating.

Manny was very helpful and informative. He was also very professional and friendly. He identified our problem right away and gave us various options

Our recent annual system check proves that Precision Air & Heating is one of the best AC service providers in the Phoenix area. Paul ([redacted]), the technician who did the annual check up, was professional and knowledgeable. He explained, in detail, the status of our two ac units and what was needed and not needed to bring the system up to full operational status. Thanks Paul!

I knew I needed a new AC, but like everybody else money is tight. I explain everything to my tech Louis and he went up the ladder in 112 degrees with a smile on his face to see what he could do. A thousand to fix it. My unit is 21 years old and I expected it. Louis explained my options, so instead of trying to polish the problem I'm replacing it. Thank you for great service Louis!

I just had precision air out to my home I would have to say that they are by far one of the most professional companies that I have dealt with here in Arizona they are fast honest reliable and very knowledgeable the technician who came out to my house found the initial issue immediately spoke to me about different options that I had which would help the efficiency as well as extend the life to my sister Mannywas very honest very knowledgeable and treated me with so much integrity I honestly felt he was doing what was right thank you and precision for training your boys the way u do ......talk about excellent service from start to finish !!!!!!!!!!!!

we just had Jose M come to our house for and air conditioner repair. He was great and I highly recommend this company and him for your repairs.

I came home from vacation to a broken ac. I called precision air and they were able to schedule me in my alloted time frames. Aaron came out first and was super nice and helpful. An hr later Claude came out to measure and quote me for a whole new unit because mine was beyond help. He was able to quickly schedule my new unit the next day. Also explaining the ins and outs and different options. Tuesday Guy and Eric came out. They were nothing but kind and as quickly as one can replace an entire inside and closet unit were able to give me a new unit. They answered questions and were courteous. Even going as far as apologizing for slamming a door, I don't think it slammed at all. They answered my questions explained everything very well. Excellent job and thank you!!

RE: Complaint ID #[redacted]To Whom It May Concern:
Precision Air & Heating, Inc. hereby amends the initial response to the above complaint filed by Mr. [redacted]. We have made contact with Mr. [redacted] since our initial response to his complaint. Mr. [redacted] and our company have uncovered some misunderstandings with our technician and Mr. [redacted] during their 2015 and 2016 visits. We have come to an agreement that Precision will perform a leak search at no charge in addition to ensuring he receive his 20% Maintenance agreement discount for any necessary repairs needed. Additionally, should he choose to move forward with a new unit, we will apply the $590.00 towards the cost.
Sincerely,Erik J. B[redacted]Owner

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I finally agreed to the $ 280.00 Cancelation fee. Which the total refund should have been $ 7234.27.  When I recieved my refund check it was in the amount of $4673.07. They shorted me $2561.20. I never agreed to that. When I spoke with [redacted]n regarding this she said too bad and it didnt matter that the conversation I had with her employee [redacted] stating 280.00 was the cancellation fee. I have attached the following emails. The amount owed is $2561.20.

Regards,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.First, I would like to address the several false statements in the response from Precision Air & Heating.

1.   “The concerns of her call related to a 1925 built home with a 2007 Trane unit not meeting her air flow expectations on the east side only.”

a.    The concerns of our call on 5/30/2014 was that it was not cool in the east side of our house, not that we knew there was an airflow issue. We wanted to know why it was not cooling on the east side of the house. We wanted a thorough inspection that would resolve the issue (mechanical or otherwise).

2.   “Mrs. [redacted] also noted concern that the duct work needed to be looked at because of the room addition to the home.”

a.    We did not mention any concern of the duct work. This statement is completely false because the addition is on the west side of the house and cools perfectly fine.

b.    We would not know that there was something wrong with the ductwork.

3.    “The homeowner stated the unit was working and cooling properly and currently reading and indoor temperature of 79 degrees.”a.    If our house had an indoor temperature of 79 degrees there wouldn’t be a reason for us to call you. b.    We repeatedly called because our house was reaching 86 degrees.

4.   “Our Field Supervisor, [redacted], contacted the homeowner this same day to discuss her air flow concerns in addition to advising the homeowner on the benefits of adding radiant barrier, vents and insulation options to the home.”

a.    Their technician [redacted] who came to our home told us that there was not enough room to add a radiant barrier and that the insulation was adequate. He also assured us that the vents would help cool the east side room, which it did not. Hence our many calls after the vents were installed.

b.    It is obvious that although he checked our AC unit, he did not thoroughly inspect it. Instead, we were charged for his inspection and he sold us on work that was unnecessary. It was later discovered that the AC unit itself was the main issue which was pointed out by one of their own technicians after all the air flow recommended work had been completed and paid for.

5.   “The homeowner's initial complaint has always been of an air flow nature, never a mechanical nature.”

a.    Our initial concern was that that our house was not cool and it was your “expert” recommendations that airflow was the issue. After having done all your airflow recommended work we did not get any results.b.    If our complaint was never mechanical in nature, then why were we asked to clean the condenser and evaporative coil along with the airflow fixes? We paid for both mechanical and airflow recommended work.

To be honest, I would not be making this complaint had my temperature gone down even 1 degree from 86 degrees to 85 degrees. But it did not. I paid close to three thousand dollars with nothing to show for it besides ugly looking vents on my roof. Not to mention I have had rain leaks in my house since those vents were installed, the return was not placed where we requested, etc. At this point I don’t want anyone else to come out for the 7th, 8th, or 9th time. I’m sure any reasonable person could understand why. I would just like a refund on the unnecessary work that did not produce any results (vents, duct modification, return).

In terms of the airflow work, the only noticeable difference was the scoop that [redacted] installed. If you would like to charge me what the scoop would have cost from my requested settlement amount, I would be fine with that.

If this settlement is not accepted by Precision Air & Heating, I would like to request that this complaint be publicly posted on the Revdex.com web site.

Regards,

[redacted]. South AC wasn't cooling had Chris with Precision out and was able to get older unit up and running. Claude was able to give me some options on equipment as well today

Thank you

Mike S and Don were exceptional with going well above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that I was taken care of with my AC. They were friendly, thorough, and helped explore all my options and took perfect care of me. Give them both a raise!

Just had our yearly air-conditioner check done by Precision AIr and was very pleased. Our technician's name was Manny who was pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. Great employee. Very happy with this company.

My husband and I weren't quite sure what was wrong with the flow in our A/C unit and called Friday evening. Precision Air sent out a technician right away. Garrett was courteous and got right to work, assessing the issue. He told us immediately that he had found a leak and could fix it that day, and recommended to have our ducts cleaned the following week. Garrett was very patient and thorough.

Manny was extremely professional and prompt!
