Regarding your claim for Best Price Guarantee, the lower
rate found must be for the same exact itinerary i.e. hotel name, check-in and
check-out dates, number of rooms, room type including bedding and view
selection. The hotel name for the lower rate from Hotwire was not disclosed
until after purchase. We are sorry, however we will be unable to refund the
difference.  We have noted your feedback

you have some concerns about your reservations. We apologize that the [redacted] was unable to accommodate your
reservation. The reservation is provided by our sister company, [redacted]. The
phone number provided by the hotel representative was for [redacted]. For future
reference, the Customer Service contact number can be found on your accepted
itinerary.
 
We reached out to Agoda.com to verify the status of your
refund. They advised that a full refund was processed to your reservation on
February 14, 2016. They were unable to process the additional refund at that time
as the credit card refund could not be issued for more than the amount  originally charged.
We have been advised that the additional refund for
$84.64 was processed on April 4, 2016 to an alternate credit card.
 
Regarding your reservation at the [redacted] Downtown, a refund request for $106.56 was submitted on April 7, 2016. The
refund amount is equivalent to the total cost of your second reservation. The
request must go through a review process. Once processed, it will go back to
the card that was used to purchase the reservation.
 
We are sorry that you have been disappointed with the way
this matter was handled. As a gesture of goodwill, we would like to offer a 30%

I am rejecting this response because: The response from the airline is completely false. When I called, I
never said I wanted "just my ticket" changed or that "I'm trying to find a flight" when I already had a flight. Those words never came out of my mouth so I'm not sure where or who they got this recording from. I called asking for both
of my tickets changed for the "21st of December" to an earlier flight that we had spotted online. I never wanted or had the intention on flying out on the 23rd of December
when I am supposed to be in [redacted] beforehand; I have no idea where
that date even came from. I called knowing exactly what I wanted to do
and there is no way that is correct. I spoke to my husband about this
matter and he had called the airline to see what was going on with our
flights. He had requested to listen to the "so-called" voice recording
and they refused to let us listen to it. Everything the airline
responded with is a falsified statement and I will not accept what they
said because it is a lie. The quoted text is not at all accurate of how I
speak and is poorly reenacted and I do not believe they obtained a
voice recording of that call I made. I believe someone needs to look
further into this matter because this simply is not going to do and I don't think their word should be taken so easily when they prove time and time again that they failed to provide adequate customer service and I
won't let them get away with stealing money from a military service
member or anyone at that matter. I appreciate the Revdex.com for allowing my situation and concerns get heard.

I am rejecting this response because:  Thank you for your reply. However, since I have personally been on this property before I know for a fact the state and condition it is in. Just read the most recent reviews from any of the websites you listed. I have used the Name Your Own Price tool in the past and I understand how it works. I was not looking to stay in any "particular" hotel, but only one that truly holds a 4 star status. I can appreciate there is no perfect rating system, but this one is definitely flawed. One point that I did not bring up in my original complaint is that when I received the Priceline confirmation with the name of the hotel and picture, it's interesting that the picture was actually of the [redacted] down the street and not the [redacted]? That was very "suspect".  My family averages around 45 hotel nights a year and although, Priceline has been a resource for us in the past I am sad to say that it will no longer be an option for us.

The hotel rate was initially listed in USD in the website and changed to TWD on the  booking process.  Therefore it was difficult to find the hidden cost. I have attached a copy of the receipt from the Congress Plaza hotel, which showed their aftertax daily rate $113.98 was used as the  pretax rate in the Priceline's summary of charges.

Priceline refuses to correct the error in my booking. As I said to the company before, I am not asking for a refund. I am willing to pay the full amount of my booking if it is applied toward a hotel where I want to stay. I made it clear during their booking process that I wanted to be booked at the [redacted] airport. I got booked in a hotel in town where there are many less expensive hotels to choose from. I never would have offered to pay what I am being charged to stay in town. All Priceline has offered to do is to charge me 50 percent of the amount as a cancellation fee. They won't apply the full charge to a booking at the airport, even though I have offered to increase my bid. To be forced to stay in town or lose my money is not an acceptable resolution to this problem

it will not be cancelled or changed.

for review and initial. This contract has the terms and conditions of

request, you indicated that you have read, understood and agree to the

Priceline advertised a hotel as a 7.8. This hotel was trusted and booked by myself. When I got to the hotel, it was less than a 1 star hotel. The pool was closed, I was told it was badly infected. The stool had mold in it. The first room had a bathroom that had an electrical problem an we had to be moved.
