 In accordance with the terms and conditions of
the credit card offer, the $50 bonus is provided in a form of a credit in the
consumer’s billing statement. The consumer will receive a $50 credit in the

I have received the consumer’s additional comments. As you
requested, I have again reviewed this matter to see if we overlooked anything
that might support a more favorable conclusion. Unfortunately, there is nothing
we can add to what has already been stated in our previous correspondence.
 The cancel policy disclosed prior to purchase, states the following: Cancel Policy: Priceline will not charge you a change or cancel fee, however
this hotel has the following cancellation policy: For the room type you've
selected, you can cancel your reservation for a full refund up until noon on
Friday, May 27th (local hotel time).if you decide to cancel your reservation
anytime between noon
on Friday, May 27th and noon on Saturday, May 28th (local hotel time), the hotel
requires payment for the first night's stay. You will be charged for the first
night's stay including taxes and fees. Any remaining amount will be refunded to
you. Refunds or cancellations are not available after noon local hotel time on
your day of arrival (Saturday, May 28th). The consumer requested to cancel the reservation on the
check-in date, May 28, 2016; therefore, the reservation is non-changeable and
non-refundable.  I am sorry that we are unable to
assist the consumer any further in this situation.

We are sorry that the consumer is not satisfied with the 2 star quality
hotel he selected at the [redacted], located at [redacted].

is a travel agent, and as such, offers travel services on behalf of our partners.
The consumer selected the 2 star quality [redacted], from a list of
properties, including customer guest reviews about the overall quality,
cleanliness, location, and amenities for the property. Upon review of this information, the consumer chose to
select the [redacted].
According to the
consumer, the guests did not stay at the property due to hotel quality issues.
We have been in
contact with the hotel regarding the consumer’s claims, and they have advised
that the guests did not arrive at the property until 12:30 AM. Upon arrival,
the guests stated that the property was located 
3 miles further from where they intended to stay, and did not mention
any quality concerns. The guests chose not to stay at the property and the
hotel is unable to offer a refund.
We are sorry that we are unable to assist the
consumer any further in this situation, and suggest that the consumer contact

Priceline has contacted me and offered a refund of $496.40 via check sent through [redacted].
Unfortunately, we cannot take them on their word. We have experienced multiple promises for refunds. While this seems to hold more weight, we do not feel comfortable taking them at their word alone. We will only close the case with Revdex.com once we receive the check and have deposited it in an account.

I am rejecting this response because:
I did not input my name into the terms and conditions section - as I told the representatives when speaking with them, I was told I would have to input my name to accept charges, but there was not anything that popped up, or even an agree button.... it automatically charged my card.
I have spoke with the hotel management, and they informed me this happens REGULARLY and they are so sorry I even attempted to book through them.
this room is suppose to be for a wedding and priceline doesnt even have the right customer service to offer me the wedding price after their website glitches. I understand they feel they cannot give me my money back and thats fine, I still need the room, however, they are almost $40 more expensive than the wedding price!
I spent 4 hours trying to work something out - as an unhappy customer, I believe there is something that priceline can do for their consumers.

There were four reasons we booked this specific hotel.  1.  A room to sleep in for our family.  This room was exactly as we expected.  2.  Free breakfast.  The breakfast was wonderful.  3.  The pool.  - The pool was awful.  It had a terrible odor and the water was murky and green.  4.  The common hot tub that was listed as a hotel amenity both in text and in pictures.  It looking at the pictures, it appears that they used to have a common hot tub, but it has since been concreted over. 
The availability of the hot tub and heated pool were two of the four main reasons we booked this hotel.  We had planned an active vacation and we specifically wanted to swim and relax in the hot tub at the end of a long, active day.  This significantly impacted the value of this reservation.  I would suggest fair compensation would be a minimum 30% or somewhere around $119.00 for the loss of our important vacation activity and for the aggravation I had experienced trying to get this made right by taking valuable time out of my vacation, a few hours in total, trying to take care of this situation.  Even though your customer service representative read word for word that the hotel was supposed to provide a hot tub (and a pool, which wasn't useable), their insistence in not giving me any compensation caused me to loose a great deal of precious vacation time.
If you offer $119.00 as a refund, I will accept it as fair compensation.
