reservation, and prior to purchase, the consumer is provided with the cancel
policy associated with each room rate.
In this case, the consumer selected a non-refundable
reservation, which
provided greater savings and less flexibility.

I guess that is why I complained to the Revdex.com.
This is great play with a customers Priceline, but there is no info about room – price per day, no info about exact amount, I'm sorry priceline, but without my initials I couldn't go to the next page and base in my past trips, I alway put my initials to go further, so Im sorry but I can't accept this (also info about 12% I first time see it.)
Usually when I sign a contracts like this, I put my initials right next to amount/%, to expect about the charge, you just give a screen (according to the info you supply) with a bunch of info to me to accept, this is not a way to treat your customers like this.
Do you think I would write this or even call if I would know about those fees.
This is unacceptable situation, that we are willing to bring to the attention of the Attorney General of your State, because that experience to the customers is unacceptable, we are completely dissatisfy with the customer service you provide.

I am rejecting this response because: The email I received from priceline upon cancellation appears to say that NOTHING was retained or charged upon cancellation. See attachment.
Furthermore, the "24 hour rule" is in fact applicable to ALL US carrier flights (regardless of discount or itinerary).
Here is a link to a FAQ at the US DOT's website http://www.dot.gov/airconsumer/air-travel-tips which pertains the 24 hour rule that I referred to in my previous statement. And as I stated above, this ruling is broad and the DOT intends for this to be upheld by all parties involved in a transaction. It is currently in the process of issuing a follow up ruling later this year based upon this initial ruling it issued in 2012.
I am cutting and pasting an answer to a question the DOT posted on its site after it officially unveiled its consumer protection rules in 2012:
I need to cancel a reservation that I just made. Can I get a refund?
•Most air fares require payment when you make the reservation, and most discount fares are non-refundable.
•DOT requires airlines to either hold a reservation for 24 hours without payment or refund a paid ticket — even a non-refundable one — if you cancel within 24 hours of purchase and you purchased your ticket more than 7 days before your flight.

I have purchased a flight ticket from Chicago to India, and unfortunately my school schedule is not allowing me to make the trip.Hence I have asked them to change my reservation to a different date.
In this case I was aware that I have to bear the difference amount along with the $200 cancellation fee. The representative gave me a shocking fare for the new ticket. Their website itself shows a much more less fare for the same flight. And it is the same on Etihad's website when I asked why am I being charged so much more the representative gives a rude reply that the fares online are discounted ones and I don't understand how the discount doesn't apply to returning customers?
and its silly that the price they offer me is far higher than the carriers quote! I am a international student and hardly make a thousand a month, going to India is an once in 2year event for me. It is very sad that the company doesn't respect their customers interest, instead takes advantage of my situation and charges me more.
