Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Priceline in its response refers to a "contract", but that contract they refer to is clearly null and void as the consideration in exchange for the money paid to make that a binding agreement was "cancelled" by PricelineAnd even if Priceline were to somehow obtain a ruling stating that the "contract" was still valid for a flight that is no longer booked/reserved, it does NOT invalidate the DOT ruling on the hour rule for all [redacted] carriers nor does it invalidate the Uniform Commercial Code which governs commerce Priceline has failed to show and prove in writing to me that the DOT's hour rule for commercial carrier airline tickets does NOT apply to its "name your own price" (aka "NYOP") airline ticketsNowhere in the DOT document which I provided to the Revdex.com does the DOT make an exception to discounted or deeply discounted airfare or “undisclosed itineraries” with regard to the hour ruleIn fact, it clearly states that ALL US commercial airline carriers are subject to its "hour" rule and this includes airfares sold at a discount to the retail pricePriceline is thus far simply relying on its own stated opinion that the NYOP fare on a US Commercial carrier is somehow not subject to the hour rule, but I opine in rebuttal that Priceline acts as an "agent" of the US carrier when it sells tickets on [redacted] rs and thereby it is a fiduciary of the principal (in this case the [redacted] carrier) and thereby subject to the same rules as applied to the [redacted] carrier by the DOT Finally, Priceline, in its rebuttal, failed to mention its failure to disclose these so called "cancellation" fees in its cancellation email which I attached before and I am attaching againPriceline’s email states “ you most likely have not been charged, in which case the only transaction to your account will be an authorization, which will drop off within hoursIf you were charged, your refund would post within to business days ”Nowhere in this email does Priceline mention cancellation fees or the retaining of feesI did NOT see these cancellation fees disclosed in the cancellation email that was sent upon cancellation and I did NOT see these cancellation fees when the reservation was initially madeIsn’t this a clear violation of the DOT rule for ticket agents to disclose all airline fees in writing? The DOT discusses its rules in the website below and it seems to me that Priceline failed to disclose these fees in writing up front or in the cancellation emailIf I am mistaken, then I want Priceline to show me where these cancellation fees were disclosed up front on in the cancellation emailSee DOT’s website here for its discussion on airline ticket agent rules http://www.dot.gov/affairs/2012/dot0812.html I have elevated this matter in the hopes that it will ultimately be resolved in my favor Kindest regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: The business states in their response, "We reviewed your reservation and confirmed when our representatives contacted the hotel and spoke with the Front Desk Manager, we were advised that no concerns were brought to their attention during your stay." This, however, is not the caseWe notified the hotel of our concerns on the night of February 16th, when we called down to the front desk to let them know that housekeeping had not cleaned our roomWe also notified the hotel of all of our concerns when we checked outThe woman who checked us out apologized, and even offered to refund our stayShe was not able to refund our stay because we had already paid for the rooms through priceline.com In my opinion, priceline.com has not made any further attempt to resolve my issueWhen they first called the hotel, they spoke with an employee who had no authority to accept or reject my complaintAfter this single call, priceline.com attempted to claim that the issue was resolvedI took it upon myself to contact the hotel, and discovered that the employee was not a manager and didn't have the authorityWhen I brought this to their attention, they made another call, and from what I can tell, this is all they have actually doneAs a customer who purchased their service under a certain quality guarantee, I expect more from themFurthermore, they still have not addressed the issue of their quality guaranteeIsn't it safe to assume that since the hotel was willing to issue even a partial refund, that the hotel was not up to the standards advertised by priceline.com?
