We do apologize, however, at this time RadioShack has filed bankruptcy and procedures has changed. RadioShack no longer carry parts, have a repair department, not able to assist in returns/refunds and do not have the capabilities of issue copy of past receipts. Please see the
below information. Effective March 2, 2017, all sales are final and returns are no longer accepted. This information is printed on your receipt and is posted within the storesThis is the RadioShack’s policy, therefore, no product return issues (may it be exchanges or returns) will be escalated further. Items purchased before March 2017, should be forwarded to the manufacture for warranty issues. If the manufacture is RadioShack, there is no longer a warranty. All purchases are “AS IS” and without any RadioShack warranty, regardless of any warranty paperwork included with a product or any information on the receipt, including the back, or posted on signs in the store.Most national brand products come’s with a manufacturer’s warranty and for issues with those products you will need to contact the manufacture directly. *** *** told me in this message that a Radio Shack rep would be contacting me "within hours" to arrange a replacement unit, but no one has contacted me despite *** *** having my phone number and email address - he wrote that calendar days agoWhy would you say you are going to contact me within hours, and not do it? Contact me to arrange the replacement unit, as you offered in the previous message

I did not return it before days because the warranty said I had days and no one at the store when I bought it told me that Radio Shack changed its policy in March and that the new policy did not honor any warranty that came packaged with their merchandiseNor did anyone at the store point out the statement on the receiptI do not think that any business should assume that all of their patrons read the entire receipt of all purchases they makeIf there is a recent policy change that affects their purchase such as this policy did it should be pointed out to the customer
To resolve this dispute Radio Shack should replace the defective product which cost more than $

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. *** ***, RadioShack Regional Administrator, Chicago, sent me a nice email explaining what to do to exchange the equipment at the Duluth store. Audrey and I spoke on the phone (07/29/2015) and she was very helpful. I then went to the local RadioShack store in Duluth (***) with a friend of mine and exchanged the defective equipment for a new PRO-Digital Handheld Scanner. The store manager programed in the codes numbers (frequencies) I needed too. This past weekend I did the initial charge on the scanner then over the last few days I have used it. The scanner holds a battery charge for a full eight hours and works like it is supposed to.I want to thank *** *** of RadioShack for helping me get a replacement PRO-Digital Handheld Scanner that works for me.I am satisfied with the resolution of my complaint
