I was in a real hurry that day and was not aware that this was on clearance. I asked if they had something new in the store as I wanted something for my husband different on his birthday.  THis is what they showed me..  IF they would have said I could not bring it back I would have never bought it because I was thinking if he did not like it I could return it.  He did not like it or want it.  I am willing to return it and get something else for that amount of money.  I have always liked radio shack and do not want a problem with them but would like to be able to do something with this situation[redacted]

RadioShack indicated that they could cancel the product care plan but that they could not reimburse me the cost of taxes and that they would also have to charge a ten percent fee for cancelling the plan. This is totally unacceptable. RadioShack is still trying to rip me off.

After reading the reply and looking back on my experience, I am still left dissatisfied.First of all, when the Radio Shack "contact us" link finally decided to work, I wrote to them and asked they put me in touch with an actual human being so I could talk out my problem about how they short shipped me. To this day 12/16, I have not received a single call from them. I received the part they had forgotten to include the first time, so obviously someone looked into my problem. Although the reply from Radio Shack was cordial enough, it is still dissatisfying. I wasted so much of my time trying to reach a person to speak with from Radio Shack online. The least they could have done was put me in contact with an actual person. All I wanted was decent customer service. For someone to talk with me about their screw up instead of them avoiding me and just sending me generic minimal info emails (one was an "order confirmation" and the second email just had tracking).

number may be required to process a return. With all due respect we do understand customer’s wanting to safeguard their information. However we do not sell our customers  information. Asking for our customer’s information is a courtesy  we provide and also safeguards your return. For example. You purchased a TV  from our store and you need to have a covered repair through the manufacturer which requires a receipt that you have lost and they will not take your credit card billing statement as proof of purchase .  Providing your name and address will allow us to locate your purchase and provide you with a copy of your receipt needed. For a second example you made a return  and  discarded receipt you noticed that you have not seen your credit on your billing statement and now have no proof of a return. You could contact any store and providing you name and address we can locate you proof of purchase to assist in making sure you received your proper credit.   We deeply value your relationship with RadioShack. Two letters were sent to the Radio Shack corporate office, and no response has been received from the company as of this date. There are no posted signs stating that customers must give their address to receive a refund, and lastly I would not recommend the company due to their extremely poor customer service. Thank you.

Customer purchased her unit 12/19/2015 during the Christmas Holiday shopping season. As stated by the customer she was offered an opportunity to purchase a  RadioShack Radio Protection plan and refused .In addition on the front of each customer receipt it is stated the warranty is only 30 days on RadioShack brand(s) of products [redacted]  initial contact to us was February 24,2016 which is also past the 30-day return period. As a good faith gesture we would like to offer a 20.00 customer appreciation coupon. Respectfully, [redacted]
