Renewal by Andersen did a wonderful job of replacing windows in our home The whole process from ordering to installation was seamless From project manager Angel Z to the installers, Andrew D and Phil M, the job was completed in a timely and professional manner We will certainly use Renewal by Andersen again as our old windows need to be replaced Thank you so much for your great work and product

Several years ago, we thought about replacement windows and researched all the leading “names” (i.e., Andersen, ***, ***, etc.) and sat through lengthy in-home presentations by two, Andersen and ***Interestingly, the prices given (i.e., retail, day, and “today only” prices were practically identical)However, we put the project on hold when we contemplated downsizing instead Ultimately, we decided to stay put and invest in some remodeling projectsThe first project we decided to tackle was replacing the windowsAfter reading some online reviews we decided to go with Andersen over ***As luck would have it, we received a promotion flyer with some attractive incentives so I called for another “consultation”
Dana ***, Design Consultant, was on time for her appointment to give us a new estimateUp front, I asked for an abbreviate presentation as we had seen the movie twice before; thankfully, she respected that requestShe was very knowledgeable not only about her product but useful details on home construction I was impressed that she did a thorough exterior inspection in addition to the detailed inspection and measuring of the interior At conclusion, she advised that Billy ***, Project Manager, would be doing a second reaffirmation measurement before the order is placed and that the 2-3-day installation process could be expected in 4-weeks once placed I was pleasantly surprised when I received a call a week later to schedule the installation in weeks, the day after Christmas
The installation team (Rod, Alberto aka Bobby, Reese, Josh & Isaiah) arrived exactly at 8:15am and had all windows installed on the first dayThe second day was reserved for additional caulking, sealing, and additional detail workI was impressed not only how efficient they were as a team but how courteous and professional they wereNot only did they wear protective “booties” when working inside, but placed runners in the high traffic areas and covered furniture and other areas in plasticAfterwards, they vacuumed all the work areas and moved all the furniture backThere was one problem; due to the depth of the frame and casing, window treatments in a couple of the windows could not be reinstalledThey called Billy ***, who came on site the second day, and gave guidance on how to address the problem in a few minutesBecause we have a second story some work had to be done outside which resulted in some ceramic tiles being damagedBilly saw to it that new tiles were matched and purchased, and installed by Isaiah a couple of days laterInstallation was completed in days, rather than the expected I give high kudos to Billy and the entire installation team for doing a great job and taking care of minor issues quicklyIt should be noted I received several unsolicited positive comments: one from my neighbor who saw the team working and one from the Project Manager on our remodel project when inspecting the exterior sealing
A week after installation Dana *** called for satisfaction follow-upShe came out the next day to do some pictures and do a quick inspectionShe noticed that one of the locking mechanisms was a little “tight” and in need of an adjustment The following day I received a call from “Kate” who scheduled Chris Carlson to come out; Chris came out the next day and made the necessary adjustment and lubrication in minutes
In sum, we are very satisfied customers, based not only with the quality of the product but with our experience with the individuals notedThey provided a truly customer-focused experience

For years, we wanted to change our sliding door to French doorWe found out - not many companies will replace sliders with French doorsWe also discovered that most companies will not do woodWe were able to get the doors and a true guaranteeRecently, the weather striping came away from the doorRikky M*** came out and expertly fixed the strippingThen, he adjusted the door so it would not happen againRikky was knowledgeable, professional and kindHe listened to our concernsTold us his plan of action and carried it our skillfullySo grateful for Rikky!

My recent experience with Renewal by Andersen of San Diego was extremely positiveAndersen installed quite a few windows and a sliding door for us about years ago, and we were having problems with our sliding door screen, which kept falling off its trackJavier L*** came to our home (earlier than expected! - it's rare for a service technician to come in the promised time slot, and an early arrival almost never happens!) and not only efficiently repaired our screen door at no charge, but he also spent time giving me a major "education" on how to lubricate the tracks of our windows and doors.and even gave me a spray can with his recommended lubricant at no charge! He offered to come back again if we have any problemsWe couldn't be more pleased - thank you, Andersen of San Diego! :)

Just had my windows replaced yesterday I am so pleased with themMy installer Chris and Jaun was amazing Not only did he move and cover all my furnitureHe cleaned up and put everything backHe also knew I work from home so he was very accommodating to my needs I will say they are not the cheapest windows out there but you get what you pay forI ordered black on black windows and they look awesome

This review and rating pertains only to the performance of the salesperson/design consultant as work has not yet commenced on my door replacement project Her name is *** *** (phone number available upon request) and she was knowledgeable, friendly and professional in her presentation She spent over four hours with us assessing our needs, taking preliminary measurements, presenting us the various product options and making recommendations, and showed us videos about the manufacturing process and facilities as well as the company's history She also scheduled a appointment with a technician to do precision measurements Lastly, she provided us our financing options She was able to answer almost all of our questions and got the answers for the few she couldn't She followed up by sending me an 18-page PDF file of the Agreement Document Again, this review does not reflect positively or negatively on the company's product, installation, technical assistance or customer service, as these are at this stage unknown quantities

We went with the decision to use RBA because of reputation and product The installation crews have been friendly but due to a mis-measurement and installation of a patio door we have been disappointed with the customer service Multiple phone calls have resulted in a lengthy runaround in dealing with the wrong size door We have so far experienced months since the install with no result other than "we will contact you" Spent big bucks but no satisfactionVery poor communication in our particular case by the management

I am very pleased with the replacement french doors I had installed by Renewal by Anderson
The installers, Phill Mand AndyDwere outstanding They were extremely professional, explained everything that would be done, and were extra careful with our home Their workmanship was perfect and the door product is first rate
My only negative comment would be that the installation was much simpler than I was led to believe by the salesperson She intimated there would be drywall and stucco repair, paint touch up, etc in actuality the door was measured to fit perfect inside the old frame so there was no need to disrupt, stucco, wall, or even the moldingThis door replacement was very expensive Based on the easy installation I feel I definitely paid too much for this replacement and I feel I was taken somewhat by the salesperson
