Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: There shouldn't be an authorization needed to disclose details of this invalid account. I never gave authorization for the alleged account, however this illegitimate account has been reported to the credit bureaus and damaging my credit profile. I wish to avoid further damages.

Regarding complaint for [redacted]
Case# [redacted]
Dear Ms. [redacted],
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to respond to Ms. [redacted]’s complaint.
Upon receipt of this complaint, our office has...

reviewed the account. Please accept this as I.Q. Data International’s response to the complaint.
If I understand Ms. [redacted]’s compliant, she is questioning why she was never contacted by the rental company and why her account had been sent to collections when it was less than 30 days old.  She also is disputing the account as she had paid the property directly.
While I am not employed at the [redacted] I cannot speak to what transpired prior to the account being referred to our office, it is standard operating procedure for our client to send vacating residents a statement of deposit within 14 days of vacating the unit, to the last known or forwarding address provided by the resident.
Our office received Ms. [redacted]’s account from our Client February 19, 2016, at this time the account was in a “Pre-Collect” status.  The “Pre-Collect” status is a courtesy period for consumers to ensure they are aware of an unpaid balance.  Our Client utilized this process to request a delay in collection activity to give the consumer ample time to make arrangements for payment of the outstanding balance.
Ms. [redacted] disputed the charges with our Collection Specialist and emailed a copy of her personal check that was submitted as payment to the property, the [redacted]. Our office reached out to the property to validate the payment and did not get a response.
It is our responsibility to answer disputes in a timely fashion, that being said, I apologize for the delay in our response to her dispute and validation of payment.  We have opted to accept Ms. [redacted]’s proof of payment as valid and have noted her account as “Assigned in Error.”
I appreciate Ms. [redacted]’s frustration that she was unaware this account had been submitted to a collection agency, her account was “Paid in Full” prior to being submitted to our Agency.  Furthermore, her account has been updated to the Consumer Reporting Agencies to be deleted from her credit report.  We ask for patience as the process to update with the Consumer Reporting Agencies can take 5 to 7 business days.
Sincerely,
Holly H[redacted]

[redacted]DOCUMENT ATTACHED[redacted]
September 7, 2016Revdex.comPO BOX 1000DuPont, WA 98327Regarding complaint for [redacted]Case# [redacted]Dear [redacted],Thank you for giving us the opportunity to respond to [redacted] complaint. Upon receipt of this complaint, our office has reviewed the account. Please accept this as [redacted]s response. If I understand [redacted] compliant correctly, he has disputed the charges for the [redacted] and has not received the requested validation of debt and is still being contacted by our Agency in attempts to collect the amount due.
While I am not employed at the [redacted], I cannot speak to what transpired prior to the account being referred to our office, it is standard operating procedure for our client to send vacating residents a statement of deposit within 14 days of vacating the unit, to the last known or forwarding address provided by the resident.  Our office received [redacted] account from our Client January 19, 2016.  The property had gone through an ownership change during the time [redacted] vacated and the account was submitted to our Agency and the documentation for validation had not been transmitted through our electronic process. [redacted] phoned our office and requested validation of the debt January 26, 2016 and was informed our Agency would contact our Client for documents, the account was marked as “disputed” in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and a request was submitted for documents.
[redacted] followed up on the status of his request in March however, our Agency still had not been able to reach our Client.  Our Agency continued with collection activity and spoke with the consumer in August, when he informed the Collection Specialist that he was not going to pay without proof of the debt.  A review of the conversation the collector had with this consumer reflected the collector would greatly benefit from coaching as her attitude was in direct conflict with our culture and the collectors pledge and has since been addressed internally. This office owes an apology and our appreciation to [redacted] in bringing the matter to our attention. It is our responsibility to answer disputes in a timely fashion, that being said, I apologize for the delay in our response to his dispute and validation of the debt. Though we have received the validation from our Client, we have decided to cease collection efforts and have updated the account status as “Assigned in Error.”  That’s not to say the debt is not owed however, our office will not proceed with collection activity.  The updated information has been submitted to the Consumer Reporting Agencies and confirmation that [redacted] is not reporting an account for [redacted] International has been attached. If you need any further information please contact me directly.
