I worked with Curtis J[redacted] from Renters Warehouse on renting my house in Phoenix. I had so many fears about the process and pictured in my mind everything going wrong possible - Would I find a renter? How much would my house rent for? How fast can I get my house rented? What type of tenant will be in my home? Curtis J[redacted]' professionalism and knowledge took away ALL of my fears. Any concerns I had, Curtis was just a phone call away and answered all my questions promptly and courteously. My home was rented within two days of being available, and I'm receiving a great price for my home rental. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Renters Warehouse and Curtis J[redacted]. If you want to make your rental process a breeze, they are the people to go to! Thanks, Curtis!

Excellent experience with this business. My leasing agent was very knowledgeable and answered any question I had promptly. The process of applying etc was fair and I always knew what to expect and what the results of my inquiries were.

Review: I contracted with Renters Warehouse to try to rent my house. I have two keys to the house one, I gave to their realtor [redacted] and one to I have here with me (I am now in California). I had a friend go out to check on the house and when they got there the door was wide open. The house was full of leaves and bird droppings. The door had not been tampered with and when the Maricopa county deputies came out to do a safety check on the house, they confirmed that. The realtor had placed a lock box on the house so the conclusion was that someone with a key had opened the door and then failed to secure it. Again the only key was the one in the lock box so someone with access to that box had opened the front door and then failed to lock it. I asked the realtor to pay for the cost to clean the house as it was his mistake and he refused to do so. The cost was $300.Desired Settlement: I would like them to pay for the cost of cleaning the house which was $300.

We train our agents extensively regarding locking properties. There was a lockbox on the property that the owner's vendor utilized. The owner also sent a friend out to the property. There is no way to determine whether of not the friend had a key either. There is a large journey out to this property. It is difficult to determine who it is that may have actually entered the property and did not secure the door. There is not proof that is provided, only accusations. We accept responsibility with concerns that we are a part of. Our agent indicated that the doors were checked before he left the property. Due to the property being a large distance from the actual city he decided to go back to the property and double check. All doors were secured when he left the property after the second check as well.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10818309, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I do not accept this response. There were only two keys to the residence, I had one and I gave the Renter's Warehouse realtor one. I then had a key made her in Ridgecrest California and mailed it to a friend in Phoenix so that she could check on the house. She received the key and went to check on the house and found the door to be wide open. The Maricopa County Sheriff's team said that there was no evidence of forced entry into the house. The realtor's key was housed in the lock box. I am not saying it was the realtor who left the door open, but someone who had access to the lock box used the key to open the door and then did not shut it properly. In my mind there is no other explanation. Thus Renter's Warehouse has culpability in this and I am baffled that they will not simply pay for the cleaning fee to rectify this situation.

In an effort to work this out to a conclusion Renters Warehouse will be willing to split the cost of the cleaning with the homeowner. Renters Warehouse will need to get a copy of the paid invoice for the cleaning as well as a copy of the police report for the call out. of law enforcement. Upon receipt of these items the split cost will be reimbursed to the owner.

Review: I Hired Renters Warehouse on December 6th 2013 to lease my home at [redacted]. Since that time I have been unable to get information on how to contact their corporate office or get the name of the CEO or the owner of the company from the agent or anyone else. I was told by [redacted] the agent I dealt with that the person who rented my home wanted some work done to my home. He also told me that Renters Warehouse had crew that would clean my home and do repairs that I may need to have done. I was told that he would have a person by the name of [redacted] give me a call with a price. [redacted] called me and gave me a price for cleaning and painting my home. I've asked the company several times for receipts for the money I've paid and never got one. It was also agreed that my home would be rented on April 15th 2014. Renters Warehouse allowed the renters to move into my home three days early without ever getting my Okay. They breeched my contract with them in that instance. Than I was called by [redacted] and was told that their I needed to do the landscape before the 15th and he would have [redacted] call me with a cost. I told him if it was overpriced I would get my own landscaper. I was told that they had to rekey a few locks and some other things in the house. [redacted] put a list of the things that needed to be done in an email to me. [redacted] called me and told me he was charging me $800, to do the job. Paid with credit card for the work to be done. Once he got his money he took three weeks to complete the work that I paid for. [redacted] also had landscapers go to my home with out my knowledge or consent do my yard, the also trashed the pool. My pool person called me and told me that my pool was trashed and all my yard furniture was stolen from backyard. Called Renters Warehouse told them that I did not give them any consent to do my yard. They had possession of my Keys. They won't return any calls from me or the renter. They are trying to take an additional $480.Desired Settlement: Since they had possession of my home and they let people in my home without my authorization to do work, they breeched my contract with them more than once. I want them to return all the monies that the renter paid them, put in to my account. I also want the Co. to replace all my stolen items, since they had the only keys to my home. I do not want them to have anything to do with my home form this day forward. I want them to return my keys to me and release all funds ASAP.

[redacted] did a great job finding a renter for me. He always communicates with me and keeps me up to date. Rate him a 5 star employee pleasure to work with! [redacted]

Our agent Philip H[redacted] went a hundred percent above and beyond for us. We had a very unique and potentially difficult situation, and he completely made it happen for us.

It was a pleasure working with Rae. Rae is a very positive and knowledgeable person who is dedicated to her profession. Going thru the whole process of finding a house was a very smooth transition.

I think we will have to agree to disagree on this being a situation of not a "good fit". My initial impression of Renter's Warehouse was that it was a reputable business. After your continued ignorance of valid grievances,and a hefty electric bill thanks to your agents leaving appliances and lights on after a specific agreement was made, I maintain my stance. I have yet to hear specific reasoning why they were unable to rent my house. My final question to this company is why a person wanting to rent a house is not a good fit?

A few months ago, I decided to give Renters Warehouse a chance and I was very impressed with my leasing agent [redacted] and his assistant [redacted]. Their professionalism and attention to detail throughout the entire process was exceptional. I had thought that it would be easy to find a good renter on my own, but I am very busy and it is hard to always be available to show the rental and deal with constant inquiry calls about it day and night, not to mention to know what being a qualified renter entails. [redacted] walked me through the whole process from starting the tenant search, to management services, if I decided to go that route. They took all of the stress off my shoulders. They were always on top of it and readily available at any time of the day with any questions or concerns I had, no matter how big or small. It is a scary thing to rent your home, but these “professional landlords” definitely stand up to their company's slogan. I couldn't believe how quickly they found me several applicants to choose from. Ultimately, I had the final choice of who my tenant would be, they presented me the background and credit reports to review. They handled the lease and everything, now all I have to do is sit back and get paid every month. My tenant has been in my rental now for several months and pays his rent on time and I have not had any issues with him whatsoever. So excited to build my investment and wait for my property value to increase! I would recommend [redacted] and [redacted] to anyone who needs a personal touch with their property. It has been an eye opening experience coming from a skeptical home owner – they told me to “trust the process” and I am so glad I did! Thank you again both of you for all your hard work. [redacted]

I contacted Dennis D[redacted] and was shown a home I was interested in the same day. Dennis walked me through every step mom the process which is lengthy but thorough. Dennis cares not only about his homeowner's but about his tenants as well. Dennis is hardworking, honest and believes in constant communication via text, email and phone calls. Dennis is willing to.go the extra mile and worked with me. I'm so grateful that I found him and I'm grateful he works for an amazing company like Renters Warehouse. My experience was amazing, went smoothly and Dennis was there for my family and I to ease us into the transition. Dennis met every one of.my expectations and excelled them all! Dennis is kind and caring, he will go the extra mile for anyone who is in need of renting a home! The leases are thorough, extensive and protect the tenant as much as the homeowner's. I would recommend Dennis D[redacted] at Renters Warehouse to anyone who is seeking a new rental home.
