Renters Warehouse Reviews (468)

Rae S[redacted] is Awesome! We moved 1750 miles and she was spot on the whole time.
Very professional. I would rent from her again.

Nicole C[redacted] did an outstanding job renting out my house. For it being my first time, she made the process hassle, pain, and troublesome free. Definitely will be using Renter's Warehouse for a while & any future properties.

Very easy to work with, convenient and fast. Responsive when needed.

I had the privilege of meeting [redacted], a leasing agent with Renters Warehouse when I was looking to lease a home. I found one I really liked, but was concerned because I am on the road to mending my credit history and it will take time. I explained my circumstances to [redacted] when I met him and asked if he would give me an opportunity to lease this home and if Renters Warehouse would take a chance on me. [redacted] went above and beyond from the beginning with kindness and compassion. Because of [redacted] efforts, I was able to lease the home I am in, and I am so happy. [redacted] will be the first person I call when the need arises for me to lease again (although I am very content where I am). Thank you so much [redacted]!

Brandon G[redacted] OUTSTANDING Ask for Him, Prep your Property as He Instructs you, and get the "Rent estate" as Advertised.

From the first contact until my condo was rented out I received outstanding and personal service from my RW representative, Phillip H[redacted].
Since I had already moved out of state I truly had to rely on him to take care of things for me.Phillip was wonderful, kept me informed, promptly dealt with issues, paperwork and my questions and concerns. Without his help and the Renters Warehouse system, I would have had a serious problem. As it unfolded, no worries mate!

I have worked with Renter's Warhouse for 2 years and think the entire program is great!

I just wanted to say thank you for [redacted] at Renters Warehouse. He was so professional and personable to work with. We have never used a rental service before and he made it so easy for us. If I ever need to rent again, I will be calling Renters Warehouse and asking for him. Thank you [redacted] for being so understanding with everything involved in our renting process. You made our move from [redacted] to [redacted] such a easy process. You were awesome to work with and we wish you success in all you do. ??

Review: Do you really promote Renters Warehouse? Because

> according to their website you do. I am a single woman living on disability

> who simply wanted to move from one side of her community to the other and

> [redacted], of course she didn't answer, but she did call me back later. I was

Response:

Mrs. [redacted] signed a binding hold agreement for the property on April 10th, 2013, when she submitted her cashiers check to hold the property.Repairs were complete by June 1, 2013 when she was supposed to move in. It does not matter if they were complete 2 months prior, or 1 hour prior, the home was ready for move in on June 1st. Furthermore, if there were any additional maintenance requests Mrs. [redacted] may have had on the property could have been submitted to management. Any and all major repairs and cleaning was complete, the home was more than habitable. The contract clearly states of the tenant does not follow through with signing a lease and taking possession of the property for ANY reason, the hold deposit (or earnest money) is forfeited. The home was taken off the market and held for Mrs. [redacted] for nearly 2 months, and had it not been, an alternate tenant could have been located. The forfeited funds held recover lost rent for the property owner.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. All repairs needed on house were not completed by 1June13. That is only a small part of my claim. The biggest problem was that the property was not registered properly with PebbleCreek and therefore not able to be rented out. PebbleCreek didn't have a copy of the settlement papers and had no idea when the house was bought or by whom. I was also told by [redacted] on 1June13 that because of these problems I could get my deposit back. I had every intention of moving into the house, got all utilities set up, had movers scheduled, but when I experienced such poor management on both the parts of Renters Warehouse and Mr. [redacted] the day before and the day of my move in, I was reluctant and was not given any indication that the situation would improve. When I was finally able to read the lease, there were many discrepancies in it between what was in it and what was told to me by [redacted]-RentersWarehouse's representative. They broke the agreement, not me. They cost me a lot of time, monies, and extreme aggravation.Regards,[redacted]

Response:

There is a signed contract - this is acknowledged by both parties, one that the tenant could not get out of. The property owner was financially harmed. Renters Warehouse does not keep this money, so the complaint should not be against Renters Warehouse in the first place. We do not profit off situations like this. In fact, it also costs us money, as we have to relist the property. However, in an effort to stop the back and forth, I will offer $250 to settle this matter with the tenant. We would like the case to be closed so everyone can move on.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Not acceptable. I signed a contract 2 months out with many promises made to me by your representative before signing. I thought I was dealing with a professional company who meant what they said. I had that certified check made out to RentersWarehouse not [redacted]. If you or Mr. [redacted] lost money on this transaction, I sure don't see it. You swindled me out of more than $1100.00. When [redacted] finally called me back on 1June13 she told me her boss told her I could get my deposit back. Another lie. Plus, you all were very unprofessional by not responding to any of my voicemails or emails.Regards,[redacted]

We decided to use renters warehouse to find a tenant and should have known from the return calls/text messages what we were in for... the communication was horrible especially since I was never informed they were keeping the deposit AND first months rent. I kept asking about the rent payment and was told the first one takes awhile... This company also charges the tenants lots of fees too! So when you hear $80 a month that's all its bogus! They have many hidden fees they don't tell you about. I think this company is a huge scam.

So far so good... I had a not so good experience with the initial leasing agent. After contacting a supervisor, I was given the opportunity to work with someone else who addressed my concerns in a timely manner. I'm hoping that the management portion of the company continues to provide the same level of quality service as did the "new" leasing agent.

We recently needed assistance finding a new home after so many years in our current home. After coming across a listing from renters warehouse and [redacted] we found the process to be very simple with open dialog. [redacted] was such a huge help to us finding the right home in a fairly short amount of time with some requirements. Throughout the process he stayed in contact while he answered my many questions and was just a kind man. I say kind because although it's not a required attribute for anyone it's always super great to see it displayed in person. Thank you [redacted] for your tremendous help and your professionalism.

Michael R** with Renters Warehouse is an extremely professional agent who is prompt to reply to any questions or concerns. Our experience with him during our recent search and location of what we feel is the perfect home has been nothing but great. We will absolutely recommend Michael, and Renters Warehouse, to family, friends or acquaintances who are looking for rental property. Thanks again!

We worked with Philip H[redacted] on renting a home through Renters Warehouse. He was very professional and provided excellent service. Very courteous and responded quickly to all questions and concerns that we had.

Rae S[redacted] from Renters Warehouse was amazing. She helped us rent out our son's condo when he was extremely ill. We had never rented out a house before and she made everything go very smoothly and walked us through all the steps quickly. She managed to rent the condo out in less than a week. Her communication skills are excellent and she was so patient with us during a difficult time when our communication skills were not the best. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to rent out a property.

Review: Renters warehouse is managing a property on mine. On the 20th of January [redacted] and I had a conversation on evicting a tenant for no payment. He told me he would file the paper work and start this eviction process. I called back two days later to find out when the court date was and he stated to me he made a discussion for me to not evict the tenant. Did not call me or contact me at all. Now [redacted] has stated he has received payment from the tenant and payment would be processed, 7 days have gone by now and [redacted] will no longer take my phone calls or respond to me.Desired Settlement: I would like for [redacted] and his company to take responsibility for their mistake and contact me with a resolution to this matter.

Response:

[redacted]-I apologize if [redacted] has not been getting back to you as he should, or communicating with you properly. I will discuss this with him. In regards to your tenants payment, they paid via credit card last week, and that payment just cleared into our account yesterday. I have checked to be sure it is set to be sent to you today - and it is. Payment will be processed this afternoon and should be in your account tomorrow. Please contact me directly if you have further issues - [redacted]

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

[redacted] was our realtor and he was amazing! He was organized and very up front about what we needed to do and what was expected of us. It is my first place and [redacted] made sure we understood the lease. He took time going through the entire place with us and paid attention to every detail. He even helped us find furniture to furnish the entire condo! Overall, [redacted] was extremely helpful and I would recommend him and Renters Warehouse to anybody.

Philip H[redacted] did a great job getting me into a home!
