I am rejecting Navient's solution, as it has not resolved anythingUpon Navient contacting me in regards to this complaint, I was told "The correct fax number can be found at the bottom of the page..." However, within the body of the letter (giving instructions on how to complete and turn in the deferment form) that incorrect fax number is providedAs a matter of fact, when I agreed to complete another deferment form (I was told there was an error on the previous form I turned in) they sent me THE SAME letter along with deferment forms that expired July 31, It appears as if I be getting set up, or this may be a shady companyEither, I do not like what they're doing
I have also made a complaint with the Attorney General's office as well

The response has not said anything about fixing the problemI spent over an hour on the phone discussing the issue and the member on the phone stated that "they had tried to call me"I confirmed the phone number they had on file was correct and as it was the only phone I have I promise they did not call meI have zero missed calls and I also do not have any voicemail's from their company

There was no explanation given by Navient other than that they received an "insufficient funds" response from my bank After checking both over the phone and in person with my bank, it was determined that there were never any insufficient funds, that the money was removed from my account by Navient, then returned without explanation The only response Navient's employee could provide was that there were insufficient funds, which is clearly incorrect Furthermore, there was no explanation given regarding the other issues I've had with Navient over the course of the last months, including being blatantly lied to by their customer service representatives about being set up for Autopay correctly and being "guaranteed" that the funds would automatically be withdrawn in November, which, naturally, did not occur and my account was labeled past due because of their mistake The excuse that I "wasn't assessed a late fee" doesn't matter, what matters is that they cannot get their customer service reps on the same page, provide customers with correct information, or assist customers in correcting mistakes on the accounts This is not some joke; this affects our credit, and our lives It's bad enough they require ASTRONOMICAL payments every month; to add poor customer service and ineptitude just makes it unbearable I remain unsatisfied with Navient's response - although the customer service individual that reached out to me attempted to help, no explanation was given as to the complete lack of customer service I've experienced over the last months Unacceptable

Navient's response did not relate to my concern. Please be advised that I never authorized my loans to be with Navient. I consolidated my loans with "Direct Loans" and that is why I was unaware that Navient/Sallie Mae had my account nor that I was late on payments. Navient cannot prove that I authorized them to be my loan provider and that I agreed to make payments to them. If they could prove that I would not dispute the late marks submitted to the credit bureausI cannot accept their response stating that I was late if I never authorized an account with Navient nor Sallie Mae due to my past negative experiences with them

They are hiding, of course, behind "privacy" which is why they did not respond here where it could be recorded and I am sure they know it will take more than days for me to obtain and review the letter via snail mail In addition to the original complaint I would like to add that over the years I have contacted the repeatedly to "over pay" in hopes of getting some money applied to the principal of the loanin every case this has not happened and the over payments (over years worth) are going to interest and not to the principalthey have NEVER taken an interest in helping me with my loan in personComputertraining.com does not exist anymoreI never received what I took the loan forThey have been nothing but ugly and disrespectful to me in the past and the call I got after filing this complaint was not eitherIt only takes minutes browsing social media to see I am not the only one who has had horrible experiences with this company both as Sallie Mae and as Navient and I venture to surmise that an investigation into Navient will show that Sallie Mae handed them all the bad loans to distance themselves and essentially create a "Fall Guy" situationI never made the complaint in hopes of a resolutionI know that will never happenI just want people to know

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and find that ONCE I read the correspondence they have sent to me via the USPS I can better determine whether it is an appropriate response. I received a credit back from my bank so I am satisfied in that regard, but this business is unethical period. For the last years out of college I have paid my student loans religiously and on time monthly to Sallie Mae, and paid off an entire student loan with another company. I reported this company when they without notice raised my interest rates, and monthly payment to nearly times what I was paying previously without notice. Then after (and I have shown all the proof) removed my account they still debited the account without my authorization without permission. No excuse and I do not need to speak to another representative with the company because nothing changes those facts. I make payments in the amount that can be afforded by my family and my salary.

Problem:
These are educational loans that were in deferment or forebearance I have never been lateThese loans were paid on time all the time and are being paid now company not reporting payments for months yet they have reported incorrect information about the accounts being charged ofcount numbers are *** *** *** *** *** (loans for navient)These loans have never been late and were refinanced to get a lower interest rate onlyThey have ruined my credit when the reason for me attending college is to do just the opposite I do understand mistakes are made but I have disputed it yet it is not fixed yet!
