A representative from the Office of Customer Advocate contacted the customer by telephone on September 16, 2015, and we are working with the customer directly to resolve the issue

They unilaterally lowered my monthly payment by more than 60%, effectively increasing the life of my loan and, thereby, the amount of interest they would collect from me over the life of the loan I didn't notice this for several months because my payments are set up on Auto Pay I had to call them to have my payment amount increased to the original payment agreement This reduced payment amount started in May They told me they sent me a letter about this in April I received no letter Nor did I receive any message via email or on my online account with them I still don't have a copy of that letter If you have loans that are being managed by these people, check your Auto Pay amount regularly Sallie Mae never pulled anything sneaky like this Shame on you, Navient!
