Awesome service,Great prices!

Bought several parts from them which were defective. Last was a fuel pump that would make the car stall when the fuel was below 1/4 tank. Asked to return it and was told I could only return it for the same kind. I wouldn't replace it with the same kind for safety reasons. Will not use them anymore.

I am amazed. 3 days across the border in Canada, Well packed and priced, I could ask for any more. These guys are the real deal, absolutely amazing.

Review: I Purchased three Brembo brand brake rotors from RockAuto, LLC. The brake rotors I received from RockAuto, LLC were not made by Brembo. RockAuto, LLC took no responsibility for selling me Brembo brand brake rotors and then shipping me brake rotors not made by Brembo.Desired Settlement: I want shipping refunded for the original purchase as well as the return. I want the purchase price of the products to be refunded. Based on the business practices of RockAuto, LLC I want the rating of RockAuto, LLC lowered.

Mr. [redacted] purchased brake rotors from RockAuto, and according to what he described to us, we sent him

the brake rotors for his vehicle that came in boxes with the correct

part numbers and brand name, Brembo, on them. His complaint was that

manufacturer's name was not stamped on the parts themselves, which he

had seen on previous Brembo rotors that he had used. With hundreds of

thousands of parts in inventory, RockAuto is not able to track whether

a manufacturer stamps their name on every part that they manufacture,

or even if they actually manufacturer all of the parts that they brand

as their own (which is explained in our frequently asked questions

portion section of our website, by following this link:

have provided Mr. [redacted] instructions to return the brake rotors for a

refund - but he will need to pay return shipping and his refund would

not include the original shipping costs, because while he is free to

return them for any reason, we don't cover shipping in cases where we

provided the parts that were ordered.

Great prices and great customer service

I have had good results and prices are good and shipping has been even earlier than predicted

Customer service was the worst I have received anywhere. Agents basically said they only care about the money and not the customer satisfaction. Seller made 2 mistakes and expected me to pay or receive sub-quality products. Totally unacceptable and cannot recommend to anyone.

Rockauto has been very helpful in getting OEM equivalent parts at much lower price.

I wanted to share a recent experience so others can be aware. I ordered some brake rotors from Rock Auto. I do understand the warranty that is most rotors, so after about 15,000 miles and these rotors were noisy and rough sounding when you applied the brakes I wanted to have them checked. They were warped, but they also were at such a level that they could not be turned, due to the thickness. My mechanic have 25 years experience and said they he did not believe the rotors were the right thickness when new. With such low miles they should be able to be turned to get the warp out. I call that a defective part. Rock auto did not see this and fell back on the standard "we do not cover warping under warranty". Well since this warping was due to a part defect I feel they should have been covered. So buyer beware.

Very disappointed on their incompetent handling of my core returns. I purchased 8 injectors, 4 at a time. To save on shipping I returned all at once which cost $13.50 to send to their warehouse in CA. These cores were to refunded for $10.a piece. They sent me an email stating I was credited for $40. I then asked about the other $40. and they responded stating they only received 4. After explaining how I sent all 8 and described how it was packaged with the 2 return slips. They told me they would look into and get back to me. It wasn't until I sent an email for an update when I got a call from the warehouse manager David. He said that he had only received 4 and I should put in claim with FedEx. These delivered to him clear without damage to carton so there's no way it would be a FedEx issue. So I said its basically my word against his and I'm out $40. I even was willing to take a merchandise credit but David was unwilling. They showed poor customer service skills with little sympathy for loss of product. I hope that this doesn't happen often or if so I hope this helps correct it....at the cost of $40. Plus shipping

I am very pleased with RockAuto.com in my 4 orders. I have dealt with ordering from Web site,calling and speaking with customer service dept,and their return process.Every aspect was professional,timely and extremely easy.

Customer Service is clueless. Shipping method is flawed. Package was in the process of being sent to my billing address instead of my shipping address so when I call about it the customer service specialist told me that my package was just in Nashville for sorting. Which doesn't make sense at all considering the package came from Georgia, went 2 hours completely past the delivery destination to be sorted and then come back to the delivery destination(How!? Why!?). Now the package is mysteriously delayed after my call to customer service asking how or why it ended up in the area of my billing address and not my shipping address. Its been 4 days since I ordered this part from them. I didn't realize it takes 4 days to come 2 hours. Maybe I will never understand.

I ordered parts for the first time since I was referred by a good friend to go to this site. I was very pleased with the prices. The parts were shipped the following day and I received them within 5 days. Great product and I will continue to order from this company.

Review: I purchased a radiator and a radiator cap and when package arrived I found the radiator to be unusable due to a crack in plastic. The radiator and the cap arrived in the SAME package, so when I printed the return form from rockauto.com, I sent both cap and radiator back as that is how it was shipped to me. I purchased a new radiator and cap from an auto store locally as I did not want to risk another broken radiator. Upon rock auto receiving my package, I found they only refunded the shipping cost of the radiator, NOT the cap. I have called and spoke to customer service and have been told I am NOT eligible to receive a refund on the shipping for the cap as it was not damaged and I chose to send it back not wanting it any longer. I also sent it back with the radiator because the two were packaged together when they were shipped to me. I will not be doing any business with rock auto moving forward due this.Desired Settlement: I would like the remaining shipping that I paid to be returned to me as I returned both products in the exact package they were sent to me in. They were packaged together upon arrival to my house so it made since to package together sending back.

Since the radiator and cap shipped from the same location, they were

put into a single shipping box that fit both. As our Help page

explains (http://www.rockauto.com/lang/en/answersTab4.html#Returns),

every part we sell may be returned within 30 days for a refund of the

part price. Shipping charges are not refundable unless the return is

due to our mistake. Since we made a mistake by sending a damaged

radiator, all shipping was refunded in addition to the part cost for

that radiator. Since no mistake was made on the radiator cap but it

was not wanted, shipping is not refundable. These parts were returned

to the same location, so we covered the return shipping of both

parts.We have refunded the customer in full, except the outbound cost

of shipping the unwanted cap.

THIS COMPANY IS A COMPANY THAT DISCRIMINATES AGAINST CERTAIN CUSTOMERS BASED ON WHERE THEY LIVE. I HAD PURCHASED MANY AUTO PARTS FROM ROCK AUTO OVER THE COURSE OF 6 YEARS WITH ONLY 2 RETURNS. AFTER THE RETURNS I HAD STILL FOR 4 YEARS BOUGHT OVER 600.00 IN PARTS FROM THEM UNTIL THEY PUT ME ON A BLACK LIST AND WON DO BUSIONESS WITH ME. THEIR EXCUSE IS TOO MANY RETUNS. THAT IS NOT TRUE. AND WHY DIDNT THEY CUT ME OFF 4 YEARS AGO WHY UNTIL NOW. NO ONE IN MY FAMILY CAN BUY PARTS BECAUSE THEY WON T SELL TO THEM. THEY PUT ANYONE AT MY ADDRESS ON A BLACKIST.
FOR NOW ON I WILL DO BUSSINESS WITH ADVANCE AUTO EITHER WAY BY THE TINE YOUR DONE PAYING SHIPPING TO ROCK AUTO IT COMES OUT TO THE SAME PRICE JUST LESS HEADACHES.

RockAuto is the best auto supply company I have used, bar none. Their part selection is excellent, their pricing is always lower than anybody else, and their shipping is usually on truck same day as order.
How can anybody beat that for customer-focused service?
I am pleased and am a returning customer. I heard others recommend them on various web automotive forums, and found the glowing reviews to be true.

Received bad rotor and rep was not helpful and condescending.
