Additional Complaint Correspondence : Contained within the hour fitness new membership orientation agreement packet, it states..that I am entitled to business days; to notify 24hourfitness that I wish to cancel, in order to receive a full refund (which I had done!)furthermore, I became a member on APRIL 28th, And on the following day April 29th, I submitted a notice with my request to cancel my membership A twhich, was well within the business day policy agreement 24hourfitness also discriminated against me, when I went there on my initial visit And was not able to get my guest pass activated I feel that 24hourfitness is being unfair I have submitted a timely cancellation notification So therefore, I am entitled to a 100% refund reimbursement.RESPECTFULLY SUBMITTED BY *** ***

The local Club Manager has confirmed that he spoke with you via telephone on February 16, at which time he did attempt to work with you towards an amicable resolutionWe are sorry to hear that you declined his offer
Unfortunately our records do not show that we received a request to cancel your membership a year ago as stated in your correspondenceSince Hour Fitness memberships are not based on usage, we would not cancel your membership without your consent which is why your account remained active in our system until your contact to our office on December 21, 2015. Please note that per your signed contract, it is the responsibility of the member to review their bank statements and report any discrepancies or billing errors to Hour Fitness or their bank in a timely manner
Please be assured that, per your request, your membership has been cancelled in our system and there will be no further debits to your account. If you should locate proof of your request to cancel from last year as stated in your correspondence, please let us know. Once received, we can research this further and if it is determined that an error occurred on behalf of Hour Fitness, we will be happy to process and expedite the appropriate refund
