Unfortunately our records do not show that we received a request to cancel your membership a year ago as stated in your correspondenceSince Hour Fitness memberships are not based on usage, we would not cancel your membership without your consent which is why your account remained active in our system until your contact to our office on December 21, 2015. Please note that per your signed contract, it is the responsibility of the member to review their bank statements and report any discrepancies or billing errors to Hour Fitness or their bank in a timely manner
Please be assured that, per your request, your membership has been cancelled in our system and there will be no further debits to your account. If you should locate proof of your request to cancel from last year as stated in your correspondence, please let us know. Once received, we can research this further and if it is determined that an error occurred on behalf of Hour Fitness, we will be happy to process and expedite the appropriate refund

I received a call on the afternoon of Monday, the 26th of October from a Hour Fitness Representative at the Corporate OfficeShe identified herself as *** and she stated the following to me:She stated the contract they said I signed was in fact garbled per my complaint and not enforceableIt was not the contract I signed originally along with my McCardle Guarantee dues certificate taken by Hour FitnessShe stated they were cancelling the contract due to it be garbledShe stated she saw I was an original member covered under the McCardle agreement and that my dues would now be frozen permanently at $She stated this was permanently for life and never to be raised againShe stated I would receive a refund of the $that Hour Charged me last September and it would be returned to my accountI have not received this refund*** assured me that all of the above would be annotated here on the Revdex.com Website for me to print out for my recordsThat has not happened.None of the above has occurredWhen I receive a reply from Hour Fitness concurring with all of the above, I will then consider the matter closedUntil then, as far as I am concerned, this complaint remains open
