I have received the complaint from Ms [redacted] regarding his membership, purchase with Sun Tan City On April 13th, Ms [redacted] purchased a month to month open-ended agreement that allowed them once a day tanning services at our Portland location for $per month plus taxPer the membership agreement that was signed in the salon by Ms [redacted] , all Sun Tan City memberships require at least one automatic payment before the client is able to cancel the membership and there are no refunds for unused services As of October 8th, Ms [redacted] submitted a chargeback for her monthly paymentsIf Mrs [redacted] can provide us with proof that she has dropped the chargeback, we would be more than happy to issue Ms [redacted] a refund request Loyal customers are the key to any company’s success so it is my hope that Ms [redacted] will continue to utilize our servicesI have appropriately noted Ms [redacted] concerns and have forwarded them to the proper management team to ensure they are addressed Sincerely, [redacted] Director of Client Services

Sun Tan City has reviewed the response made by Ms [redacted] regarding her account issue.As stated previously, Sun Tan City does not charge NSF fees when payments are not successful during our drafting processSun Tan City shows Ms [redacted] 's $freeze payment was unsuccessful for the month of August with a rejection code from her financial institution of "Rejected Debit- Insufficient Funds"If Ms [redacted] received any NSF charges for this rejected debit, it was done by her financial institutionWe suggest Ms [redacted] contact her financial institution regarding the $NSF charge that was charged to her account in AugustWe hope this further information helps resolve Ms [redacted] 's concerns

I have received the complaint from Ms [redacted] regarding her membership with Sun Tan City Our records indicate Ms [redacted] purchased a one month membership agreement with us on January 18th, As noted in the membership agreement that Ms [redacted] signed on the day of purchase it states that the membership required one full automatic payment before the membership could be cancelled or frozen and was an open-ended agreementThe agreement also states that all changes to the membership must be made prior to the first of the month and you will receive a confirmation code for changes made to the account Ms [redacted] ’s membership history shows that the membership as not frozen until February 1st, Therefore, this would have been after the payment for the month of February was already submitted to her financial institution for processingResulting in her seeing the charge from Sun Tan City for February’s full membership payment Sun Tan City has agreed to refund Ms [redacted] her February’s payment amount of $and froze her membershipWhen a membership is frozen the customer will receive a $freeze payment each monthUpon unfreezing the membership and resuming services, the $payments made while frozen will be credited back to the customers Sun Tan City account to use as an in store credit Loyal Customers are the key to any company’s success so it is my hope that Ms [redacted] will continue to utilize our servicesI have also appropriately noted Ms [redacted] ’s concerns to ensure they are reviewed

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I have already completed the action proposed by Sun Tan City on October 12, I have ALL corresponding documents (that have already been sent) attached These documents state the correct date in which my contract was terminated These documents also include the credit card statements proving that I did not authorize the credit card that was used due to the fact that this card is no longer in my possession These documents include all of the correspondence I have had with my bank and Sun Tan City I was given this same response when I called (with the assistance of my bank on the other line) to figure out how this issue needed to be resolved Faxing these documents in October STILL did not resolve the issue and I do not expect it to do so now I am requesting the Sun Tan City review the phone calls that are on file associated with my account before telling me to do something AGAIN that I have already done and not gotten the refund that I deserve I can also get records of the phone call through my bank proving that this has already been discussed Again, this is fraudulent behavior on the part of this business and I will not let this matter go until I receive my money back that was charged illegally Regards, [redacted]

I have received the complaint from Mrs [redacted] regarding her purchase with Sun Tan City On May 10th, Mrs [redacted] purchased a month to month open-ended agreement that allowed them once a day tanning services at our Frederica location for $per month plus taxPer the membership agreement that was signed in the salon by Mrs***, all Sun Tan City memberships require at least one automatic payment before the client is able to cancel the membership and there are no refunds for unused servicesIn addition, there is no way for our employees to copy and past a signature that was one document to anotherAll forms are electronic and signed on separate forms As of July 9th, Mrs***’s membership with Sun Tan City was terminatedWe have issued Mrs [redacted] a Glow CardGlow Cards spend the same as cash at any Sun Tan City location and can be used for whatever Mrs [redacted] chooses Loyal customers are the key to any company’s success so it is my hope that Mrs [redacted] will continue to utilize our servicesI have appropriately noted Mrs***’s concerns and have forwarded them to the proper management team to ensure they are addressed

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below As I stated in my original complaint, I specifically notified Sun Tan City staff that I DID NOT wish to enroll in a membership I was informed that "you don't have to" and was notified of a "deal" that would allow me unlimited tanning sessions for a given period of time I was not provided a written agreement to sign I was instead asked to sign a black electronic pad while the staff person verbally explained that I was agreeing to pay a fixed amount and that I would wear protective eye wear in the beds I was never informed that I had been enrolled in an open-ended membership (which I very clearly stated I did not desire) and that I would need to cancel to avoid monthly charges Had I been provided an sort of copy of the agreement, I would've asked for immediate correction in the storeAfter noting unauthorized charges, I made numerous requests for the cancellation of any and all services and requested correction of the error I continued to be charged in spite of those requests After initiating this complaint, I did receive the partial refund check as stated in Sun Tan City's previous response, but I have not received any other reimbursement This "courtesy" being offered is insufficient I did not agree to pay for services and no services were requested beyond July 31, That was made very clear on the date of agreement and with each subsequent phone call made to Sun Tan City requesting termination of services Therefore a partial refund for "unused services" is inappropriate as no services went unused, rather I was charged for services I did not request I am asking that Sun Tan City correct it's own billing error by refunding the full amount by returning the remaining balance via check For the reasons mentioned above, I am not interested in a "glow card" and Regards, [redacted]

We have reviewed the additional response from Ms [redacted] regarding her experience with Sun Tan City What Sun Tan City has done for Ms [redacted] is removed the balance from the Glow Card that was issued to Ms [redacted] via email and submitted a refund request for her as a courtesy in the amount of $This refund is set to go back to Ms***'s debit or credit card that she had provided Sun Tan City for her automatic monthly membership payments We hope this resolves Ms***'s issues

I have received the complaint from Ms [redacted] regarding her purchase from Sun Tan City After researching Ms [redacted] complaint, it was discovered that Ms [redacted] purchased an annual membership totaling $through her online account with Sun Tan city As of February 8th, Sun Tan City has approved and processed a refund for Ms [redacted] totaling $that will be credited back to her debit or credit card information provided to Sun Tan City Loyal customers are the key to any company’s success so it is my hope that Ms [redacted] will continue to utilize our servicesI have appropriately noted Ms [redacted] concerns and have forwarded them to the proper management team to ensure they are addressed
