I have received the complaint from Ms*** regarding a membership, purchase with Sun Tan City.On March 13th, Ms*** purchased a month open-ended agreement that allowed them once a day tanning services at our Frankfort location for $per month plus taxPer the membership agreement that was signed in the salon by Ms***, all Sun Tan City memberships require at least one automatic payment before the client is able to cancel the membership and there are no refunds for unused servicesAs of October 26th, Mr***s’ membership with Sun Tan City was terminatedLoyal customers are the key to any company’s success so it is my hope that Ms*** will continue to utilize our servicesI have appropriately noted Mr***’s concerns and have forwarded them to the proper management team to ensure they are addressedSincerely, *** ***Director of Client Services

I was never shown or given any type of agreement, nor told I was ever signing oneAll the sales person stated was that it was a month membershipTherefore, my understanding was September through August I feel I was lied to and I do not appreciate itIf this is not taken care of then I will never use Sun Tan City again and I will also inform everyone I know of the kind of service they give, which is a very poor, misleading serviceI hope that Sun Tan City will do the right thing as I paid them for a service for year, like I was told, and did not even use the service except maybe timesI sincerely hope they do the right thing

As of August 24th, Mrs***’s membership with Sun Tan City is still activeDue to Mrs*** signing an agreement, stating that she may request to cancel or freeze after her 12th required paymentMrs*** has one more required payment to make

Per the membership agreement that was signed in the salon by *** *** all Sun Tan City memberships require at least one automatic payment before the client is able to cancel the membership and there are no refunds for unused servicesThe agreement also outlines that all changes to the membership must be made prior to the first of the month as Sun Tan City processes all membership payments on the first of every month On February and March first the automatic payments for *** ***’s monthly membership processed and was approvedOn March 1st 2017, *** *** contacted the Customer Service Department inquiring why she was billed for her monthly membership and stated she would like a refund for the paymentOn this same day *** *** membership was terminated to avoid any further monthly membership payments and a refund was submitted in the amount of $for the payment that outside of the memberships required payments to complete the agreementThis refund was approved and processed on March 2nd, Loyal customers are the key to any company’s success so it is my hope that *** *** will continue to utilize our servicesI have appropriately noted *** ***’s concerns and have forwarded them to the proper management team to ensure they are addressedTell us why here

I am completely sick of arguing with isI have called my bank!! I called my bank the FIRST time this happened months agoI was told the charge is not from USAA but from SUN TAN CITY!!!! My bank stated this is a charge they initiate!!! So I'm tired of the run around because this $fee ONLY comes from Sun Tan CityThey reap the $and then state it's not themIt's utter BULL!!!! And then have your reps state they will refund the money and then reply to the Revdex.com stating you don't give refundsMy bank statement shows the $"freeze" fee posted on 8/2/which means it was pending on 8/1/WHICH IS WHEN THE FEE WAS DUE!! Then on 8/3/the NSF fee from STC postedWhich means they charged this fee AFTER the $5!!!!! Again, this is NOT a fee from my bank it's from STC.

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Also note that I have attached a dispute document that I filed and faxed to the company I also have the contract and bank statements with the correct and INCORRECT charges and can provide all of this upon request
I have several issues with this response First of all, I did not tan during the months of January or February This information is 100% incorrect and there is NO CONTRACT anywhere with these dates I do not have any fraudulent charges stemming from this time period In fact, I do not have any charges from Sun Tan City during this time period because I was never even there during any of the proposed dates If this is the claim, I would like to see of the tapes of myself going into the salon This clearly was not me and I will file need to file criminal charges of identity fraud on the person claiming to be me Secondly, these dates have nothing to do with my complaint I want a refund for the back-office screw up from MAY, I was charged after I requested a one month membership in April When that was set up incorrectly I called to cancel my membership Even still, I was charged in May and I should not have been charged! There is absolutely no reason that I should be charged for a May membership when there is proof that I called to have this situation cancelled I would like copies of the phone calls in which I called and had this membership cancelled.This is OUTRAGEOUS I have kept all of my documentation, have copies of phone calls with Sun Tan City, myself, and the bank, and I will be passing this onto a lawyer I will fight not only for my refund, but compensation for lawyer fees and the ridiculous amount of time this is taking for this to get resolved This is not that hard! This company is completely avoiding the fraud that they have perpetuated I need to have this situation corrected as soon as possible and not made worse by claims of membership Otherwise I am left with no other choice but to take this to court

As of June 1st, Ms***’s membership with Sun Tan City was terminatedWe have issued Mrs*** a glow card since we do not refund for unused services as noted in her membership agreementA Glow Card is an electronic gift card that is emailed to the client and does not have an expiration dateThis spends the same as cash in the salon and can be used for anything Ms*** wishes

membership Ms*** signed her membership agreement that stated Sun Tan City does not refund for unused services and that her membership payment would process on the first of every month unless the membership was frozen or cancelledAs of January 3rd, Ms*** membership was terminated, per her request, to avoid any additional payments and a refund was submitted and approved in the amount of $for her unused servicesAt this time Ms*** requested a copy of her membership agreement be mailed to herThe membership agreement was mailed to Ms*** updated mailing address and confirmed received by Ms***.On January 19th, a representative from Sun Tan City's Client Services Department contacted Ms*** regarding her issueMs*** stated that she received a membership agreement that was not hers due to the address on the membership agreement being incorrectAt this time, it was explained to Ms*** that the address listed on her membership agreement was the address that was listed on her Sun Tan City account at the time the membership was purchasedHer mailing address was not updated in our system until January 3rd, when the refund request was submittedThis was after the membership was purchasedWhen asked what would resolve Ms*** issues, her reply was to receive an additional $on top of her already processed refundIt was explained to Ms*** that Sun Tan City would not be giving her the $100.Sun Tan City feels it has taken all the proper steps to resolve Ms*** issue
