Company sent me the wrong product. Cannot get through to anyone vial email or phone.
I called and placed an order with a sales team member for a truck mat for my truck bed. The wrong mat was sent. So I called and tried to get an exchange. Was told I need to wait for a label. That was over 2 weeks ago and now I can't get a hold of anyone and they still have my money.

Desired Outcome

Either a full refund or exchange.

Product was not delivered in a timely manner. Tried multiple times to cancel our order and real truck would not respond to our requests. The product was delivered and we are trying to return our order. Real truck will not respond with return information. I ordered an item for $174.85 on June 19th, I've sent multiple emails to their customer service to provide any information on my order to see if it has shipped or tracking number they just keep ignoring me. Every time you try to contact them by phone it's an automated system that gives you the option to leave your number they call back, they never did. I waited on hold for more than an hour or two still nothing. I tried to use their talk to an expert on line its nothing but bots and I never get a reply back of anything for my order. This has been really frustrating and I feel like I've been robbed all I want is my refund I no longer care for the item since they treated me this way.

Received tonneau cover for my husband's truck with a broken clip making it unusable and customer service is horrible.
I purchased an American Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover, Part #*** from RealTruck.com on 5/18/20. It was order #*** and I paid a total of 276.16 with my *** account.
On 5/28/20 my husband went to place it on his truck and he realized that a clip was broken and it could not be secured to the truck.
He called RealTruck customer service on 5/28 and waited approximately an hour and a half before his call was answered and without any apology for the long wait. That was a sign of things to come. Cieryna M. took the info and followed up with an email saying they were contacting the manufacturer and one of RealTruck's "World Class" agents will be assigned to the ticket. I replied to that email with a photo of the broken clip and waited for the "World Class" service to begin.
On 6/2 Bennetha S, a customer loyalty specialist emailed with her info and assigned the issue ticket #1521350. She stated they filed a claim with the manufacturer, but feel free to reach out to her anytime.
I sent emails on 6/10, 6/12 and 6/23 all going without a reply. Called her extension on 6/29 and left a voicemail and again no reply. My husband tried calling the customer service line again to try and speak with anyone and once again the wait was ridiculous and unanswered.
So after all this money and time wasted, here I am filing a complaint.

Desired Outcome

At this point I want a full refund. If I could, I would ask to be compensated for all the wasted time. Based on how their so called "World Class" customer service truly operates I have no need for any product from them.

The day after I filed this complaint their answer is to send out a hinge for us to repair the cover. Unacceptable, I bought this cover for my husband's birthday and I expected a new cover without any issues and that is not what we received. Then to treat us with such little regard is adding insult to injury. I emailed them in response to this ridiculous solution to inform then that this is not acceptable. A refund is the solution.

Waiting on a full refund. For all the time and aggravation there should be additional compensation considering how horrible the customer service is with their complete disregard of the us, the customer.

I ordered parts on May 15. Had not received any shipping notification for a couple weeks. So I emailed, no response for days. Called and was told that parts would be shipped in a couple days. Another week and a half went by and still nothing. Called again and was told that something went wrong on the supplier end and they would get back to me shortly with an answer. Another week went by.. called again and was told that the supplier they drop ship from was closed due to covid19 and they would ship in a few weeks. I requested to cancel and a refund. Was told that my order was cancelled and I would recieve an email verification of this as well as a follow up within 2-3 business days regarding the issue of refund. I got nothing. This original order was May 15, 2020. I have sent numerous emails since then with no response whatsoever. They have my money, never shipped any parts, and never issued a refund if they even did cancel the order. My order number with them is ***. The customer service email is [email protected]

Purchase of a truck bed cover, no contact for estimated shipping, money taken from account and unable to reach company via emails/calls for 9 days.
Purchased truck bed cover on 06/30, my order was confirmed with money deducted from my account on the same day. Under their FAQ it states due to COVID, delivery times will be delayed, however, they will be sending emails with estimated shipping times once orders are confirmed. I have yet to receive any of the communications they've promised on their website- I've been checking both Inbox and junk folders. I've attempted phone calls on four separate mornings, each time requesting a call-back with the automated system while maintaining my position in the queue because the wait time estimate on hold was "greater than one-hour". With no way to contact the company and receive an estimated shipping time or request a refund I've turned to submitting a report with the Revdex.com.

Ordered a part for my truck on June 19th. Have not been contacted at all regarding the whereabout of my order.
Paid for a part on the 19th. Can not get any response from this company. No tracking no live person, nothing. Will not respond. I want my part or a full refund. Numerous attempts have been made to contact them. You call them and it states your wait is over an hour. LOL. Approximately 7 emails have been sent to them. Nothing....

the case shows the item has shipped and a return request was opened. An agent will working on this along with the RMA from the manufacturer.

These people are ABSOLUTELY and totally incompetent. They should not be allowed to remain in business. Do not purchase from them at all. They will invariably get your order wrong, or you will need to wait weeks or months to receive your merchandise, even though they will charge your credit card immediately. They, along with many other businesses, are taking advantage of the COVID19 to cut staff and use it as an excuse for not performing effectively. One hour phone wait times (minimum), no email response, online chat doesn't work because they pay people minimum wage to gather the information, then say they will refer your issue on to their TEAM (bull$hit).

I have NEVER experienced such a poorly managed business.

Received product with Incorrect pieces. Can not contact them and will not return my requests for contact.
Placed an order on 6/24. I was talking to an agent via online chat and was told if I placed the order with them it would ensure the correct fit for my vehicle, if not they will refund. Provided all necessary details, received product with incorrect mounting hardware. I have been reaching out to them for over 5 days and have received no response from them.

Thank you for the response. I was finally able to contact a representative after a full week of trying you reach your staff. I had atleast 3 open tickets with no response. I was also told that I would have to go out of my way to "fuel destroy" these items in order for me to receive the correct replacement. I have insisted on speaking to management but I am told they are all busy and will return my call. I still have not yet heard from management. I also do not think I would need to go out of my way to destroy these items that were provided to me incorrectly on your companies error. I was told I would receive a 10% discount on the new order but still have not received my 10% refunded back to my account. Also, the replacement will take longer to receive than the initial item I had placed an order for. Please understand this was your representatives mistake, not mine.

I still have not received a call from management after multiple requests. Why does it take a week and a half to receive the correct items to resolve your mistakes but if I placed a new order you offer same day shipping. I still don't know why I have to go out of my way to "field destroy" the incorrect items in order to be replaced with the correct items when I placed the correct order but your agent placed an order for a complete different vehicle. The entire ordeal took a little less than a month, ridiculous. This is not a professional business and it seems like your company is bombarded with similar issues. A customer should never have to open 3 service tickets, call multiple times a day for over a week just to have your company mistakes resolved. No one even had the decency to return my call and email. Get it together.

Order products about a month ago and have not received them or shipping conformation. Reached out multiple times to inquire with no response.
Order products about a month ago and I am still wait to receive a shipping confirmation. I have reached out multiple times on the "live" chat with no response. First time about 2 weeks ago well past the 2-3 days they say to wait for a response. I have also emailed to which I got an automated email saying to expect a response within 2-3 day. Week later still no response. I have tried call on several occasions only to have the automated system say there is over an hour wait time.
At this point it feel like they just charge your card, take your money and then ignore you and hope you won't put up a stink.

Package was lost in the mail.
Order was placed 6/12/2020 and tracking number was provided. The package sat idle at *** for over a week so it was declared missing. Attempted to contact the customer service department via phone, email, and chat for weeks. There has been no customer service correspondence through the entire transaction. I had to request a refund through my bank.

I had placed an order online with this company on 6/17, I contacted them on 6/18 to get order confirmation and ship date. Rec call from their customer service on 6/18 confirming my order. Was told product would ship in 3-4 business days on 6/18. Have NOT rec any product, nor have I been contacted after many repeated attempts to contact Real Trucks to check shipment status. Have contacted them 5-7 times to try and get a ship date, or ask for a refund. Have NOT rec any response.

They did not contact us back by 7 pm I fact it took couple days but finally called back and the order finally shipped bout 17 days after ordering

The absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. Sent wrong seat covers, wont return my calls, messages or email. DO NOT BUY FROM realtruck.com they are crooks.

Ordered a cover on June 11th and received it on June 17th with a broken part. They sent me this email back after I contacted them that day when I received it.

Sent photos that day, they will not answer phone calls, return any emails from me and their chat always says their supervisor are busy but will contact me.

Its been over 10 days and still no part or contact. They are rips offs. Take your money but will not fix a broken part that came out of the box broken.

Never received updates of order after several weeks . Had to call several times to be told was on back order till today the 29 th of June 2020. After talking to rep I decided to cancel my order and was assure it would be refunded . Then I received an email stating it was already shipped and could not process return . afyer reading yelp and Revdex.com apparently this company's has reputation of poor service and manipulating customers to avoid returns and sending faulty items by delaying shipments Close to 30 day return policy

Cancellation request was received on Monday 6/29. The items ship directly from the manufacturer so when the cancellation request was sent the item was in transit. If you refuse the item this could delay your refund since no RMA has been generated and will be required to wait on the item to be returned to the vendor and received/researched for cause. Please receive the item at delivery so that your agent can provide you the pre-paid return label with RMA and refund your order once in transit.

This is absolutely the worst customer service. I had originally ordered an item, but wanted to exchange it for a bigger size. Took me 9 emails to get ahold of them, then they wanted me to destroy the item before sending a new one. I told them I'd destroy it once I have a tracking number or they could charge me for both, and so far I'm on email number 2 to get the tracking number. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!

6/12/2020 - Placed order with Realtrucks.com for 2 headlight housings which at the time of order, the web page said was is stock. (See pg1 of Realtruck.pdf)

6/19/2020 - After waiting 1 week and still not receiving a shipping confirmation. I called Realtruck customer support. After waiting 1 hour and 13 minutes on hold I finally spoke to Gwen V who told me the that the order should have shipped no later than 3 business days and that I should have received a shipping email. When I told her that I did not receive an email she responded "Oh, I can see that it hasn't shipped and I will have to have a " Customer Loyalty Specialist" investigate why. They will get back to you within 2 business days". We then agreed that this meant by close of business. on 6/23/2020. She then sent an Email subsequent to our phone call. (See pg 2 of Realtruck.pdf)

6/22 -23 /2020 - Realtruck did not respond as I was told they would.

6/23/2020 - Nearing close of business, I called Realtuck after not hearing from them. After waiting 1 hour and 41 minutes on hold, the phone call disconnected.

6/23/2020 - After hanging up the phone, I immediately went to the Realtruck website and utilized their online support system which the webpage specifically states is "Live Chat" (See pg3 of Realtruck.pdf) This turns out to be not live chat at all but a web bot that will only accept a series of preprogramed responses which it prompts you with as you proceed through the "chat". It then sent an automated email subsequent to the "chat" (See pg4 of Realtruck.pdf)

6/25/2020 - Attempted to call Realtruck. After 2 hours and 21 minutes on hold and the message continual repeating that wait time was still in excess of 1 hour I ended the call.

It should be noted, that before placing an order with Realtrucks.com I did cursory research of the company and got an overall approval rating of approximately 4.3 out of 5, leading me to believe they were a reputable company. After having the stated problems, I did more in-depth research and the mean average of the customer reviews comes to 1.6. ALL of the customer complaints mirror my experiences exactly, with some customers not receiving products after 2 months. A common theme from RealTrucks, whether in email or the message repeated while waiting on hold on the phone, is they are currently experiencing a high volume of customer service requests. I will also note that some of the customer complaints date back to August 2019. This, to me, indicates that they are not a company that is temporarily overwhelmed by a sudden inrush of orders, but a company that is perpetrating an ongoing pattern of deceit and fraud. Just a perusal of the complaints on this very website seems to bear witness to this.

Desired Outcome

After the experience I have encountered so far, which is mirrored by myriad others, I do not wish to do business with this company at all. I hereby respectfully request a complete refund of $185.22 to be placed back on the debit card it was taken from.

While I completely accept the proposed resolution to the problem, I do not accept the company's response as written. Many of the complaints I have read about the company have to do with waiting quite lengthy periods for a refund. I am requesting an exact timeline as to when my refund will occur. As far as waiting for an agent to update me when this occurs that is unacceptable as I am still waiting for the " Customer Loyalty Specialist", who was supposed to contact me by close of business 6/23. Therefore, I am requesting an exact date when you will be returning the money to the bank. The waiting period the bank imposes, I am well aware, is out of your control.

Here we are June 29th mid day and my item still haven't shipped nor have they assigned a tracking number!

I was told my item would ship either the 1-2 days! After waiting 6 days without a tracking numberns I called them.
Their phone reps are always too busy, they had an option to, have them return your call. I chose this option because system also informed me, I would receive a call back within 45 minutes! Never did receive a call. So later on that day I went back to their website and found a way to message them. I still received no reply from them! I continued to leave messages every other day and still no reply! I call back and waited this time, it must also be a ploy cause it did not take 45 minutes to get someone. It has now been over 2 weeks and still nothing! The rep says, I see you've sent in a few messages let me combine them. Ok, so you received my messages, why no response? Her ONLY reply was that's a different department and "Mrs.B" (NEVER once was I addressed as "Mr. Or Sir"! would look into this! I explained to this representative, if I do NOT see a tracking number today, kindly cancel my order and refund me immediately!!
AGAIN, I waited a day or two and NOTHING! Called them back today and same thing 45 minutes hold time, after 15 minutes I figured maybe it was going to take 45 minutes, the system said you will not lose your place in line, so I agreed to have a return call (should be 30 more minutes)! It took them almost 3 hours before I received a call back!
Only to have this representative tell me the same as before, " I will have Mrs B look into this"
I of course am pretty livid with their lack of communication! Covid-19 or not! They should at least have the decency to return a call !
The rep puts me on hold, instead ends the call. 2-3 minutes she calls me back to apologise for ending our call.
She transfers me to "Mrs B" who responds with "how may I help you"? SERIOUSLY!!? Didn't the rep explain to you what was going on? She replies with oh, I see you are calling about the bed rail covers, I'll have to look into this. ARE YOU SERIOUS??!

I informed her that last week when I spoke to them, if they could NOT get me at least a tracking number to cancel it and Refund me! Why wasn't that done??!
She says I see it is at another warehouse I can check with them and if it's in stock you will have a tracking number in 1 to 2 days.
NO!! I WANT YOU TO CANCEL MY ORDER AND REFUND ME NOW!
Her response was it can take anywhere from 3 days to a week before I see a refund!

I have no clue how this company is still in business!!

Not once did you address REALTRUCK's responsibility in THIS situation! INSTEAD, REALTRUCK wants to point blame at someone else!!

How about all the messages I left REALTRUCK? What about being told someone would contact me and NEVER did until I called back then conveniently, I receive an email while I'm talking to the Rep!
REALTRUCK, seems like they are scamming consumers using covid-19 as THEIR excuse!!

The buyers are the ones supporting you!! Especially during this time in our lives and everything going downhill!!
It's sad, when a business takes advantage of customers trying to patronize then!!

LASTLY!! If 6ou know it hasn't shipped, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING ON!!! REFUND ME SO WE CAN ALL GO ON WITH OUR LIVES!!

The refund was processed and incident closed on 7/7. Communication was made with the customer on 6/24, 6/27, 6/30, 7/1, and on 7/7 at the time of refund.
