I am rejecting this response because: The paper has stopped which is good. Ms. C[redacted] left a message on home phone even though we are away ( the main issue obviously). She asked that I call back, which I did. In my message I said the paper stopped but asked her to call me back. She never did. I wanted an opportunity to speak to somebody at the Courant here in CT about customer service. I guess that's not possible. The servicecat the Courant is horrible and the fact you need to go to Revdex.com to get things resolved is even worse. The paper did stop but I won't accept the issue being closed until somebody at the Courant will care to listen to their customers. And I certainly won't call it resolved until I see the start of delivery on 3/1.

I am rejecting this response because:I spoke to Jorge on 10/26/15 and thus far the reminder has not been delivered. Immediate investigation is requested as this issue has gone on for over 8 months.

However, I feel that the Hartford Courant should remove the vacation policy, no consumer should have to pay for issues that they do not receive.  Most people do not stop delivery for 28 days at a time.  I am going to file a complaint with the State of Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection regarding the policy.  The carrier is not billed for a paper that he/she did not deliver, therefore the Courant should not receive payment for a service not conducted.   I have stopped delivery in past not realizing that I did not receive credit for those deliveries.
