quality and speed. Customers are informed of C Spire’s need to reasonably manage the wireless network. The customer service agreement provides C Spire the right to limit throughput or amount of data transferred in order to protect the network: C Spire reserves the right to (i) limit throughput or amount of data transferred, deny Service and/or terminate Service, without notice, to anyone it believes is using the Service in any manner prohibited above or whose usage adversely impacts its network or service levels, and (ii) protect its network from harm, which may impact legitimate data flow. Likewise, customers are informed that C Spire may amend or cancel a service plan at any time, upon thirty days’ notice: Amendments to this Agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties, except that amendments may be tendered with thirty (30) days' notice to Customer (included with a bill or otherwise) and use by Customer of Service after such notice period shall be construed as and be acceptance of such amendment. C Spire may cancel a Service plan upon thirty (30) days' notice at any time. In accordance with the customer service agreement, C Spire sent Ms. [redacted] a notice of planned amendment of her service plan. In fact, C Spire discontinued offering its unlimited plans in November of 2014.  C Spire is working towards the orderly migration of its legacy unlimited customers  to rolling data plans, such as the 6GB rolling data plan offered to Ms. [redacted] .   Under this plan, any portion of allotted data not used in a given month is rolled to the next month, up to a cumulative maximum amount of 6GB rolled into any billing cycle.  Data passes are available for purchase, as necessary, for additional data. Ms. [redacted] is welcome to select among C Spire’s service plans to accommodate her desired usage. C Spire’s data management tools empower the customer with rolling data plans (up to the plan’s monthly limit), data balance checks at datapass.cspire.com, data overage protection and purchase of additional data using Optional Data Top Up Passes. Ms. [redacted] can make an informed choice among plans whose terms are transparent and clearly stated.

Mr. [redacted] is incorrect in his assessment.  C Spire does not throttle speeds on data services.  The next time he feels his speed is not up to the norm, he should call our customer care center at 855CSPIRE5 to file a technical complaint.

I am rejecting this response because: I was not advised of a 10 window to call and activate. With it being a brand new phone, the agent did not advise of anything except you are elligble for a upgrade on your phone.  Which my original call was not even toget a new phone. I was having issues with the one I had and the person on the other line pushed the product on me saying u can just get a new phone which you are eligible for.The responses your company gave is false and that was not communicated. I  have been a valued customer for over 6 plus years with two phones and a ipad.Worst customer service and the worst with the rep failing to tell me to call to activate nor to send anything back.I disgaree. paying 715.00 was a rip off !!!!     Didnt get my money back .... still owe 6.00 per the representative.  Will serously reconsider doing business with cspire in the future. I was not compensated at all .

Ms. [redacted]' Samsung device is backed by a 1 year manufacturer's warranty.  C Spire is contacting Ms. [redacted] again to ensure that we take care of this properly.

When Mr. [redacted] purchased his phone in October of 2015, he purchased Apple Care +.  This is an Apple product that protects a customer against damage that is not covered under the normal manufacturer's warranty.  The product allows a customer to get a replacement 2 times in the 2 year term...

of the product.  There is a processing fee of $79.  When this issue was processed, there was a repair charge levied instead of the $79 processing charge.  C Spire will issue a $50 credit to the account due to this charge.  Mr. [redacted] will still be responsible for the $79 plus taxes.

A credit of $21.40 has been posted to this account for the late fees charged.

I am so sorry about the confusion regarding your plan.  I know a customer advocate called you and explained in greater detail.  Your plan has unlimited data, but as you know after 25G of high speed data, your speeds may be reduced.  Please use wifi whenever possible to maximize your...

data experience when you are not on wifi.  We reduce speeds later than most of our competitors and hope to maintain your trust as a wireless provider.

This customer upgraded on January 30, 2017. The phone was not properly activated, and the customer was charged for delayed activation on March 31st.  C Spire credited the account for the delayed activation charge and the DPP  (Device Payment Plan) was added to the account when the order...

was completed properly. After checking the account, we noticed that the customer actually upgraded nearly a week after the promo ended. The DPP has to remain on the line because if the customer chooses to leave C Spire or upgrade early, they will be responsible for the remaining balance.

C Spire does not process a claim for a customer unless they submit the claim online.  The customer has to initiate a warranty claim via online.

C Spire's technical group has been working with Ms. [redacted].  We hope we have improved the service in her area.  If she continues to have issues, we will release her from any contractual obligation.

I have reviewed this account and the balance pas been past due since 6/22.  When the bill that closed 6/22 was not paid, the balance continued to carry over each month.  When a payment was made on 6/29 for $79.90 that only paid the past balance from the prior month.  It can be...

confusing when bills get behind like tis, so I would recommend to pay the full balance and stop this cycle from the past due balances.  Many of our customers find it very helpful to enroll in autopay also because it prevents you from missing a monthly payment.  This can be done at cspire.com or by downloading the my cspire app to your device and enrolling there.

When a customer places a password on their account and they forget it then the only other way to change it or be provided with information regarding their account is by going into a C Spire store and showing photo ID.  This customer has been past due on her account since September, 2016....

 This customer's last payment to C Spire was on November 22, 2016, for a partial payment.  This customer ported out her lines to another carrier on December 14, 2016.  This customer currently owes C Spire $1,751.86 which includes several Early Termination Fees.

I am rejecting this response because:The reps never informed me there could be a charge and the Apple Supervisor told the Cspire Supervisor had the phone been sent to Apple there would have been no charge.  Further, the claim that there was no issue with the phone was not verified by Apple as Apple never had the opportunity to inspect the phone.  In another strange twist of fate, the replacement phone did not have the same issue.  The Cspire Rep erased the phone settings not me and I had no control over what that rep did.  When Apple tells me they had never received the phone and that was the point of AppleCare for me, the customer, not to incur any cost that is what I expect.  I feel the entire amount should be refunded due to the response from Apple.  Since this incident, I have had service issues where the phone will not ring, etc... which I suspect is a result of this complaint.  This incident has undermined my confidence in Cspire is more likely to cause my departure for another more reputable carrier that does not misrepresent the facts/truth to their customers.

C Spire is contacted Ms. [redacted] today.  We do not typically have this type of problems with phones.  We will discuss all possible options with Ms. [redacted] and work out the best alternative.

C Spire processes Apple Care claims.  There are certain criteria by which a phone is covered under Apple Care.  Should C Spire's repair center inspect a device and it not qualify, our customer is charged for the cost of the replacement device they are given.  This is indicated in the...

terms that our customers sign when processing one of these claims.  There was no problem found with Mr. [redacted]'s phone.  Therefore, C Spire would not be compensated by Apple and we billed Mr. [redacted] for the cost of his replacement device.  However, due to the longstanding relationship with Mr. [redacted], C Spire credited half of this amount to his account on June 11th.  We hope this resolves the issue.
