Excellent Service

Secure One Capital has been amazing from start to finish. Easiest loan refinance I have ever dealt with. This was my fourth mortgage with Secure One Capital, and as was the case with the previous three, my overall interaction was an excellent experience, from beginning thru completion. The refinancing process was very simple and easy. Everyone I had contact with or worked with including Rick Albrecht, his assistant Jordan Cano and Sage Jenkins were extremely helpful and extremely knowledgeable regarding my loan refinancing process. Rick Albrecht was always professional, informative, and forth coming with the necessary information throughout the entire process keeping me up to date on the progress. Everything went smoothly, from the first call to closing. I truly appreciate the awesome customer service during refinancing my house. Rick made me feel I was in great hands--always on top of things. Thank you!

Really bad experience. We've bought and sold homes and refinanced for years. I used to be in the business. We have PERFECT credit. I had all the documentation that they asked for before they even asked for it. This refi was a no brainer - and ended up being a nightmare! Had to track them down at every curve. Never even contacted me when the loan funded! I found out through our insurance company that we had a new lender! I STILL have no idea when my next mortgage payment is due and who I need to make the payment to! My advise is that if you're looking for a lender, first ask family and friends who they would recommend. Then - READ THE REVIEWS! And don't go to the lender's website for reviews!!!! Go to *** or Revdex.com or any other third party to get HONEST info.

Arren B and his assistant Megan were extremely professional and helpful in our refinance procedure . Arren was very kind and calming during the complete process. If you are considering a mortgage loan or an refinance I would highly recommend Arren and his team.

Arren's assistance throughout the Loan process was remarkable. He was committed in ensuring my loan gets processed timely. He kept me appraised about the sequence of events. I will definitely seek his services again to meet my Loan needs.

Austin made the process enjoyable to refinance and our home loan never looked so good! We are saving a ton of money and are on our way to financial freedom faster because of it. I would recommend to any of my friends and family.

Beware beware beware!!! Worst experience I have ever had. 3 and 1/2 months of my time wasted. I actually have emails from them saying Loan approved going into closing and than didn't hear from them or even get them to respond to my emails for days. Just to be told there was something else. This was a VA cash out refi on a home that has over 180k in equity. I made the mistake of responding to a letter that was disguised as a letter from my previous mortgage company. I should of stopped dealing with them when I realized they had nothing to do with my previous mortgage company but did not follow my instincts. You will find several other reviews with that same complaint. I really hope you read this and run from this comp. CEO read this review and contacted me. He stated he would do everything he could to make it right and than I never heard from him or this company again. Why did he even contact me? Makes no sense. Just discovered 6 hard checks on my credit report all from secure one. Two of the checks were back to back one day after the other. Had to contact credco and start the process of removing them since they did not get my permission to do more than the first one. Every attempt to contact secure one gets no response. This is a terrible company

Had a great experience with this company when I refinance the first time. I worked with Austin B who walked me through the process step by step. They did such a great job, I went back to them when the mortgage rate dropped to historic low. Austin was always ready to answer any question that I had. They did a great job. Thanks Austin.

Total sham of a company. I started the refinance process with them the end of February from a mailer I was sent. I was told by them after getting all the information they requested we were going to close at the end of March and they told me not to make my next mortgage payment. At the beginning of the process they were very responsive and were responding to my questions in less than 24 hours. Starting in April I stopped hearing from them regularly and the response times to my inquires were now taking 5 to 7 days. They kept promising me that we were close to closing and reminded me not to make any more mortgage payments because they said that would keep changing the payoff amount and would delay the acceptance and closing date. Fast forward to the beginning of June and I was finally given a closing date and they promised to send me the final documents for approval the next day, and if I was happy then we would close 5 days later. They never sent the documents and it took 7 days, 5 emails and I lost count of the phone calls before I finally received a response back from them. They said there was a problem getting my loan approved. This coming after they told me we were approved and ready to close 2 weeks before. They told me they lost some of my paperwork and need me to resend it and reminded me again not to make my mortgage payment. Then on June 16 I finally was able to receive a responses from them after I threatened to go to the Revdex.com. They gave me a bunch of excuses as to why we couldn't close and blamed me for the problems. This company is a sham and the people I dealt with are flat out liars. So scam and liar alert from Secure One Capital and employees: Ren J (Closing Agent NMLS# ***) Ian O'*** (Mortgage Banker NMLS# ***), and Elizabeth G (Senior Processor NMLS#***).

I was very fortunate to work with Secure One Capital mortgage company to refinance my home. Austin B, a knowledgeable, helpful person made the whole process easy and simple to understand and complete in a timely manner. He was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done and how I could make this a simple, pleasing process for the both of us. He walked me through each step and kept me informed all the way to the finish product of the refinancing process. I would highly recommend him snd his company to anyone that is looking to refinance.

Secure One Capital Corporation was the right choice for me! I was lucky Austin answered the phone when I called to inquire about my intention to refinance. From Day one, Austin made me feel at ease. He was professional at all times, knowledgeable, patient, and never mislead or misrepresented any information. He was proactive, attentive to my needs, answered questions intelligently without hesitation, and kept me informed as the loan steps progressed. My instincts were right to trust him from the start. I highly recommend Austin; he is an effective communicator and a pleasure to work with! I have already referred Austin to others.

My refinance reduced my house payment by $142 per month. Mr Edgell & Mr Oliver were like Batman and Robin through this process. I was impressed by the rapidity of their responses to all of my phone or email queries.

Ian, Ren and Liz are a pro team. They were on top of my refi from my first contact with Ren until the final phone call from Ian. I was very impressed with support Ian gave me throughout the process. He would call me just to see if I had questions and to let me know things were rolling along just as they should. Whenever I hit a snag with something, Ian would walk me through it, get me back on track, then Liz and Ren would go to battle for me. You guys are amazing and I am grateful for all you did.

Adam Afghan he from secure when capital was absolutely amazing we had some rough patches with the P people who are doing our refinancing before and for some reason they didn’t do what they were supposed to be doing they left the company Adam took over on our account and he made things happen thankfully and he was super patient with a super understanding absolutely amazing I have nothing bad to say about Adam at all he really worked with us really really nicely thank you for everything Adam we really appreciate it thumbs up for everything would love to do business with Adam and Afghan eat again

I was trying to Refinance my home since October 19, being senior and no direct Income, and with high Debt to Income ratio, all the Big banks, Credit union etc. in Florida and upstate north up to NJ, and few of the Online Lenders flatly refused that we can't help you out in any way,even with credit score of me and my wife in the range of 720 - 740, as I have never defaulted on any payments, I was pleading that moment my Debt gets taken care by refinance, I will be again financially strong, but it was all falling on deaf ears.
Than I got a letter from Secure capital on around first week of Feb , with no hope I talked with Ian O'*** , and he asked me to forward all the required papers, he too had been of the same opinion that you don't meet Fed guide lines, but promised to talk with others in the group, like Ren J and underwriter Noel E, and gave me a great suggestion, based on their real business experience of how to go forward to get approved, ( it was like getting a real smart attorney for a lost case). and than from there it was a very professional treatment they gave me, against all the odds in my case, Ian had been very courteous in talk, email etc, and same for Ren and Nolan in few correspondence, finally in these difficult days of Corona virus, they gave me a real attractive rate, and even though I was getting hardly qualify for a low 200's loan, they got me what I wanted in upper 200's, I don't have enough words to appreciate and thank them, I will recommend to all and will come again in future to them....

Questionable business practices, I have received numerous unsolicited mortgage refinancing offers by mail from Secure One Capital Corp in Costa Mesa, CA I have made numerous requests by telephone to this company to be placed on their Do Not Call data base but continue to receive these letters. The letter that I received today has printed inside a box to stop receiving "prescreened" offers from this and other companies by calling ***. When the number is called a recorded message tells you to enter social security number on keypad.

We take our marketing and our marketing compliance very seriously.
We never want to contact anyone who has asked not to be contacted. It is not a productive business model. I have asked our marketing team to add you to our never contact list.
The number which you called to "opt out" is for Equifax, one of the three primary credit bureaus, not Secure One Capital. Equifax is the company which requires your Social Security Number to "opt out."
If you'd like to "opt out" of pre-screened offers, you must communicate with Equifax or your information will be provided to other companies like ours who will reach out to you via mail, phone, or text.
Typically callers who are requesting to be added to our "do not call" list, get transferred to me. I don't recall having spoken to you in the past, however. your name does sound familiar and it is possible that a mailing went out before your name was added to our list.
Either way, I have requested that we never contact you again.

I value customer service, sometimes even over loan rate or terms, yet Bruce E's team at Secure One Capital exceeded my expectations on all fronts. I saved well over $500 per month on my mortgage, got an incredible fixed rate, and received white glove handling throughout. Nice work. Would recommend.

False Advertisement. I received a VA Interest Rate Reduction Notice for a 2.5% VA Fixed Rate. Everyone is offering a 2.75% at this time. Secure One Capital is the only one offering the 2.5% so I called. Moe S from Secure One Capital told me they couldn't do that before gathering my information but we can offer a 2.75% interest rate. We agreed because I knew that was the going rate. When Nicole H (Secure One Capital) sent the disclosures through email, the interest rate was 2.875. I questioned it. days went by. No response. I did not sign. Moe called me later in the week and went on and on and told me that the rates went up this morning and just sign the disclosures and we'll drop your rates when they drop back down. I shared my concerns with Moe, he responded back by telling me that "they" the competition is a fraud and can't do what they promise. My response to that was, you (Secure One Capital) are the only ones offering a 2.5% VA Fixed Rate. You are they, while telling me what they do. Be aware Veterans.

When we send a mailer, it is based on the rates available on the date the document was created and the perimeters which are outlined on the mailer. It is impossible to predict what rates will be available the next hour let alone days later.
When it comes to the statements which you assert were made by Moe, I will review that with him to ensure that he is representing our company appropriately at all times.

Thank you for the kind response but it wasn't just Moe involved. It was the 2.5% advertising, then the 2.75% agreement which was fine with us, but when we received the disclosures, it was 2.875% and knowone said anything about it except sign it. I reached out to Nicole and waited days for a response. No response. Moving forward, we got our 2.75 % interest rate and everything else in the advertisement within the same week from a competitor (they)
