Secure One Capital

We started in mid June refinancing our home with this company. We were given a rate 1/2% higher than my current rate for a 20 year note on the home and were told it could not go lower due to the fact it was manufactured and that the interest rate would go up if we went to a 15 year loan. We were told it should close by the end of the month and that they were going to cover the appraisal cost because of my husbands great credit. A few weeks later, looking at all the documents, we saw that we had about fifteen thousand in closing fees!! My husband is a disabled vet and this was the "best" they could do. Not only that, the appraisal was being rolled up into it. I contacted the rep, Andrew about all this and he said first off that they were not covering the appraisal, they were just fronting the money so no out of pocket. He also said that the loan wouldn't close by the end of the month but that it takes about 30 days, "sorry for the confusion". Okay fine... you know what, we THOUGHT it was almost over so we stuck with it. Andrew also ensured us that rates were going up and that we locked in a good rate and were "almost over".

At about the 30 day mark, I was contacted with someone else in the company who stated there was "no way" this would fund by the 30 day mark and that they were shooting for 45 days. My husband was VERY unhappy at this point so he started looking around and found another company that could lock in at my current rate for a 15 year note and four thousand LESS in closing costs.I contacted Andrew about this. He emailed me 2 days later saying he found a lender that could do that. Why was this not offered before? Did I really have to research other companies to see I was being taken advantage of? We switched companies because this felt very unethical. While we paid the appraiser they "fronted" us for, they held the payment for almost 2 weeks before paying the appraiser, delaying the refinance with the other company. Looking back on it, this was shady, riddled with lies and empty promises and we will NEVER refer!

After doing some research I had my VA home loan refied through Secure One Capital. I knew from the start that with Bruce E as my banking adviser things would go smoothly. Bruce is very knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly committed to see the refi was successful. He was in touch with me regularly, providing updates and keeping me posted on additional information the VA requested. Thanks again Secure One and Bruce. Awesome service.

Normally I just trash any mail flyers about refinancing , but with this one I decided to give it a try, and I'm really glad I did. Bruce and Jeff walked me thru the process answering all my questions, there were a lot. Everything went smoothly and I would recommend them to anyone who is thinking about refinancing.

Bruce and Jeff did a great job closing the loan in under thirty days as promised. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking into a VA refinance loan.

I was very hesitant to have my home refinanced so recent to my last refi, but I was getting so many offers in the mail I had to look into it. I did my research and found Secure One Capital to be a trustworthy company. I contacted them and spoke and worked with Bruce E who was courteous and professional. They were quick on their response time and got us a rate of 1% lower which saved almost $200 monthly. This was huge. We signed and closed within 30 days and we are very happy campers. Using Secure One Capital for our refinance needs has been such a positive experience.
