Thank you to Elmer L and Janene S for making my refinance happen. Honesty and transparency is what service I received and I am definitely going to recommend this company to my family and friends. Secure One helped me when no one else would. Elmer bent over backwards and Janene was patient and professional. Thank you for making a miracle happen for me!

I have never had such a positive experience with a company as I have had with Secure One. You are not tossed around to several people. The Financial Manager was extremely courteous and thorough. It took exactly one month to complete my loan and receive my money. The company surpassed my expectations.

I don't have a single complaint about my refinance of my mortgage. The only reason I got this refinance was because I accidentally picked up a call that I thought was a callback from a vitamin company. When Hung started asking me quite a few questions about my finances, I thought, "this can't be about vitamins." The refi with SecureOne has given me a second chance to get my finances in order. I appreciated all the footwork done by Hung N. and Adam A. They did all the work! I had very few forms to provide. My loan was funded within 3 weeks. Either Hung or Adam were available with a moment's notice to answer any questions I had. Good guys -- honest. Willing to negotiate. You must check them out!

Dealing with SECURE ONE CAPITAL CORP. was a very pleasant experience. Our questions and any problems were answered and solved professionally and pleasantly. The main person we dealt with through emls and on the phone was ADAM AFGHANI. He is one of the most pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable person we have worked with in a long time. If he didn't have the answer right away, he followed up and returned our eml/ phones as soon as possible. He never became annoyed with any frequent contacts. Thank you to ADAM for you demeanor and help. A pleasure.

they had said everything was approved and to pay appraisal fee and not to pay my current mortgage at last minute they said it was not approved after they already said it was approved via phone and email they said do not worry if it does not go thru we will reimburse you for appraisal, it did not go thru they should have known this even before I paid for appraisal.this went back and forth for a couple of weeks first I was approved then not approved then approved then not and so on and so on then finally approved then just before we signed the paperwork they came back and said not approved.

This has been resolved. I worked with the client and resolved the matter to his satisfaction. In fact, the client has even requested that the Revdex.com remove his complaint.

I posted to the Revdex.com site a few weeks ago and again yesterday that the matter had been resolved.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

I received a letter in the mail on 10/04/2017 - the letter stated 2 things: 1) 'We received your application and are ready to discuss it with you' [this was in big letters at the top] ... and 2) 'Based on information you submitted during your online inquiry we determined we can assist you...' This was the opening sentence of the body of the letter].....Now that our online browsing data is able to be purchased, my first thought was someone was submitting information without my knowledge. When I called the company, the man I talked to obviously had had this discussion before...he barely paused for a breath before launching in on the 3 reasons why I would have received that letter and telling me they only wanted to help. The Three Reasons given : [paraphrased] 1) I have a refinance loan in process and they obtained that information and sent me a letter in order to give me a chance at a 2nd opinion...OR... 2) I actually went online and did an inquiry...OR... 3) They obtained data from the [their?] Title Company saying my appraised value is higher than the amount I owe on my current loan....These are all currently valid ways a business can obtain information about me whether I like it or not.....HOWEVER - his statement leads me to believe many people have received this letter...and just after Hurricanes have ravished soo many properties... People are more prone to getting caught up in false representations like this...I spent a week without power and when it came back on I had a huge list of things I needed to do online - FEMA, dealing with financial obligation, Insurance issues, food, water, high stress and a definite lack of sleep...Many areas did not get power back as soon as I did and/or had much more severe damage.

My Complaint is that they state I initiated the request. I DID NOT. This is Deceptive Marketing/Falsely Representing how they obtained my data by blatantly telling me I asked them to send me this information - and it was timed to be just after IRMA.

To whom it may concern:

First, let me say that all of you in Florida are in our thoughts and prayers following Hurricane Irma and this difficult hurricane season. Since I don't have your name or address and since you chose not to do business with us, I cannot respond to your complaint directly, but I will try.

It is likely that our marketing piece was designed and mailed to you before Hurricane Irma even formed in the South Atlantic. We had no intention of being inconsiderate of your feelings and the devastation that you and your community were dealing with in our attempt to contact you.

It is entirely possible that you made an inquiry on a website/landing page, which we own or, which is controlled by one of our business partners over the past few months. It is also possible that your information was shared with us from another one of our business partners following an application for a mortgage or even a simple inquiry on your part. Without your name and address, there is no way for me to be certain.

As for our banker being well prepared to answer your questions, comments or concerns ... of course, he was. Our loan officers are highly trained professionals ready to provide our clients with the information they need to make an informed decision about their home and their financial future. Our bankers talk to many people, just like you, every day and we have helped thousands to lower their rate, free up some cash and consolidate their debt, all of which, improves their cash flow and quality of life.

In our competitive industry, we find ourselves working extra hard to locate people whom we can help. Sometime, people like you feel that we may have crossed a line in our attempt to earn your trust and your business. I can assure that our intentions were noble and I am sorry that we reached out to you at a bad time.

We wish you well.

Customer Response

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I appreciate the sentiment conveyed but I can guarantee I did not pursue anything mortgage related online - so I do not meet that criteria. I did however - begin refinance proceedings over a week after IRMA struck (I was without cell/phone and power for 8 days - so it was after that - and I contacted my Mortgage Company by phone directly to discuss options in the IRMA aftermath). This means my information was obtained without my knowledge and I was specifically sent the mailer in question well after IRMA had struck. This means targeted marketing...This means the company consciously made the choice to send the material to a probably vulnerable and sleep deprived person trying to keep their head above water... I will not speculate on whether they increased their attempts in my region to 'obtain clients.' I will say the gentleman on the phone did tell me their company is very proud of being extremely 'aggressive'. In my experience - that is not a good thing for consumers...its kind of like working for an IT Company that claims to be 'Bleeding Edge'...which really means they are hiring you full-time so they can work you 60-80 hrs / week. I also would not be surprised if their material was already created as mentioned in the letter - a company that operates in this manner probably had it created last year after Hurricane Matthew...or after some other region of the US had a Natural Disaster knowing there would be more opportunity to use it in the future.

It was not an easy process, mostly because of our credit situation, and the team at Secure One Capital made it happen. We worked with Garrett Bradshaw, Janene S, and Ryan M. I asked a lot of questions and feel like I was a bit annoying at times. Garrett was very sweet and showed tremendous support and concern.. Ryan supported his team as well as us. Janene has the tough job of finalizing everything. She maintained her composure, and got the job done! They all did it in record time!! I think they could be a bit more forthcoming with their explanations of the process and how it works. I think they get wrapped up in getting it done. They might forget that we are not the financial experts. We will be back in 6 months to get out of our FHA loan. Overall I would give them 4 stars just because I think they could be explain things a bit better. Over all they were great at their actual jobs and getting it done!
