Customer was offered a refund of $652.99. Customer accepted the offer and the check information was sent to corporate for processing. Customer should receive check in about 7 days.

Sharp stopped manufacturing televisions in 2016. There are no new televisions to offer. Due to the television is out of warranty this the offer on file.

Customer was approved for a refund of the purchase price. We are currently working with the customer.

File is under review for reimbursement for delay in stock. Customer will be contacted.

Exchange was processed on 10/14/15. Sharp provided the customer tracking. NVC TRACKING: [redacted]. Exchange is currently in transit to the customer.

Sharp has contacted the customer as the firmware is available. Customer advised that he performed the update and the unit is working.

 Without your help this process would have taken a lot longer.  Sharp should work on the exchange times for televisions.

Customer TV was exchanged on 2/17/16. Delivered on 2/26/16.

Sharp offered the customer a refurbished model at no cost with a 1 year warranty. Customer declined the offer. Customer original purchase date 11/30/2013. Sharp exchanged the unit under warranty on 9/15/14 (remaining warranty transfers to the exchange model). Customer called in on 5/9/15( out of warranty). Sharp attempted to repair the unit for the customer. The unit was not repairable so Sharp offered the exchange in which the customer declined.

Customer agreed on Friday, July 15th to a replacement of upgraded recertified model [redacted]. Replacement was shipped yesterday via [redacted] - [redacted].

Customer purchased her TV on 7/1/2012, the TV comes with a 1 year parts and labor warranty. Customer called in to Sharp on 2/20/15 to report that the TV has lines in the screen. At this time the customer was out of warranty for over a year. If customer can provide the requested proof of purchase and...

The first contact Sharp Electronics received from the customer was on 6/10/14, Sharp requested that he contact Sharp for troubleshooting. Customer did not call. 4/13/15: Left customer a voice mail requesting a call back4/14/15: Left customer a voice mail requesting a call back, Sent a call back...

letter via email4/15/15: Customer emailed that he would only like communication through email, send customer an email requesting photos and a copy of the purchase receipt. There has been no further contact from the customer at this time.

Sharp contacted the customer to advised that we can exchange his model with a new[redacted]. The customer accepted and the exchange was processed. The [redacted] tracking information is [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: I have communicated with this company on...

several occasions in the past. I have sent them pictures of the unit and offered to return it to them for inspection, they have refused. I do not want another one of these units, they are very dangerous and have resulted in property damage.

Sharp agreed to cover the repair of the Television. Service was completed on 7/26/16. A follow up call was made to the customer on 7/27/16. Customer stated he was out of the country and would call back if needed.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID[redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, pending the receipt of the refund check in two weeks. If I have not received the refund in two weeks time, I will file another complaint with the Revdex.com.

Sharp does have the part in stock for repair. The evaluation sent in to Sharp stated that the customer only brought in the part not the whole TV to them. Sharp does not recommend non certified technicians to repair the televisions. An authorized servicer can complete the repair at the customers...

expense.

Without a valid proof of purchase, Sharp cannot refund the customer. Sharp can offer an exchange as a resolution.
