I am rejecting this response because:That policy does not satisfy the implied warrantee of merchantability or fitness for purpose in the state...

of Iowa where I live, nor is it reflected in the language of Sharp's warrantee which states the when shipped in the original container the product will be free from defective workmanship or materials and will replace at no charge to the purchaser.  All of your own representatives have stated that I am entitled to a new television if I return it to the retailer.  The retailer has a policy if accepting these cases with in 30 days.  It was not opened in 30 days. The retailer states that they return the broken in box merchandise  to Sharp in exchange for new ones.  A non functioning screen is a defacto example of a defect in materials.  The material of the screen is broken, functionless. Sharp offered a REFURBISHED replacement with 1/4 the warrantee of a new one for $650.   You could buy this thing NEW for $800 at Best Buy in December. The offer is frankly hilarious.

Sharp has contacted the customer and offered a reimbursement. Customer accepted and the reimbursement process was started.

I am rejecting this response because:
we did have the servicer check the television. As I stated in my original complaint the issue is that the company  ceased the production of the part required to fix the tv forcing customers to have to buy a new television. This is unethical.

Sharp Electronics does not support the watches. Customer will need to contact company [redacted] Support, ###-###-####,[redacted]  for warranty assistance.

Customer was contact AIG which is an extended warranty company. An exchange was processed for the customer per AIG on 2/1/16. Tracking information [redacted]

Customer has been provided two exchange offers. Customer was offered a NEW unit once the stock comes in. Customer was also offered a refurbished model with a 1 year warranty that can ship today. Customer has declined the refurbished model. Customer has a choice to wait for the new stock or can have...

This has not been resolved.  The company has stated they would refund the money, but I have been waiting and yes, they picked up the television but I still have not received the refund.

microwave.   It has been almost one month since we’ve had a working microwave (December 7) and no repair date has been scheduled. The repair company sent by Sharp has no definitive date for the necessary part, as it is on backorder. When Sharp was contacted by the servicer, they didn’t know what part the repair company needed and requested photos for further information.  With a microwave of this caliber, we expect to have it in good working order for many years. We are frustrated by this incredible inconvenience which has become a tremendous nuisance in our daily lives. We would like to see one of two outcomes; an immediate repair of our microwave or a replacement.

I am rejecting this response because:I WAS TOLD BY A SHARP CUSTOMER SERVICE REP THAT I WOULD GET A FREE...

REPLACMENNT TV BECAUSE THIS WAS A KNOWN ISSUE. HE DIAGNOSED IT CORRECTYL OVER THE PHONE. A BRAND NEW SHARP 60 TV COST 999.00 AT [redacted] AND I WAS OFFERED A REFURBISHED TV THAT I STILL HAVE TO PAY 852.00 WITH A 90 WARRANTY THAT I DO NOT GET TO SEE FISRT AND I AM EXPECTED TO PAY FOR IT SITE UNSEEN. THAT IS COMPLETELY UNACEPPATABLE. I WAS ALREADY TOLD THAT I WOULD GET A FREE I SAY AGAIN FREE TV REPLACEMENT. SO I AM EXPECTING A FREE TV REPLACEMENT STORE CREDIT TO BUT ANOTHER TV AT [redacted] AND A FULL REFUND INCLUDING THE MONEY THEY MADE ME WAS TO GET THE TV DIAGNOSED. I THINK I AM NOT BEING UNREASONABLE AT ALL. I WAS ALREADY PROMISED A FREE TV. THEY SHOULD DO THE RIGHT THING AND STAN BEHIND THERE PRODUCT I PAID 2100.00 DOLLARS FOR. I WENT TO [redacted] AND TALKED TO THE MANAGER AND TOLD HIM ABOUT THIS AND HE SAID THAT MY TV SHOULD HAVE LASTED AT LEAST TEN YEARS. A NEW VERSION OF MY TV IS HALF THE COST OF WHAT I PAID AND I AM SURE SHARP EVEN WITH SENDING ME A NEW REPLACEMENT WILL STILL HAVE MADE MONEY. THEY CAN GIVE ME A FULL REFUND AS A STORE CREDIT OR SEND ME A CHECK OR A BRAND NEW TV WITH A FULL WARRANTY.

Sharp emailed the customer that his request has been forwarded to product planning team for future reference.

Sharp offered the customer a Roku stick as a temporary resolution until the part comes in. Customer has agreed to this.
