The car came in for a no start problem and a recallThe recall had nothing to do with the no start problemBut after further diagnosis, we found that the PCM needed to be replacedOnce we replaced the PCM the new PCM would not communicate with the TIPMWe called the customers extwarranty company and they said that if his warranty had not expired the TIPM would have been covered under his warrantyThe customer did not want to pay any more money and just wanted to pick his car upHe was aware that before he picked his car up that it had multiple problemsThe rest has already been discussed in his part of the letter where he paid the deductible as outlined with his extended warranty companyThis is their deductible not Sherman Dodge's deductibleThen he told us that he stopped payment on the check and we told him that after doing so any further repairs and picking up his vehicle he will have to pay cashAt the time of this letter being written the customer has paid the deductible in cash and has picked his vehicle upThank you and I am sorry for an inconvenience or problems that this has caused the customer Sherman Dodge

I tried giving this dealership a second chance after a bad experience once before and nothing has changedThe salesman told me I would be paying years at $a monthHowever after I left and looked over the contract the financial department failed to go over with me I noticed its for or months ( the iron clad contract as the sales manager put it) has different monthsI am paying almost yearsWhen I called the salesman he remembered telling me years but then made up some excuse about not know how the numbers workThere is not financial institution and they are having problems getting me approved which shouldn't be a problem I tried to email the GM but his email is wrong and my system kicked back the email as undeliverableVery shady business practices and they do not care about customer service once you walk out the door

No, I do not accept this response because, I went into Sherman Dodge this afternoon, after leaving several messages for the General Manager [redacted] , who I later found out is on vacation, to switch out my car and was unsuccessfulThe salesperson [redacted] told me that I could switch out my car but, they did not have my color, which I already knew, and said he would look at other dealers in which he found the same make, model, and color in Gurnee, and that he would personally go get get it and drive it backHe then came telling me I would have to pay the difference and take out another loan for a new car since they appraised my car and it had lost valueI told him I should not have to pay anything and thats when he sent the Sales Manager [redacted] over, who was flat-out full of crap and was watching a little girl in the lobby rather than paying attention to my concernsHe told me that he does not deal with other dealerships and that he would not be able to sale my car at a new car price so he wouldn't take it, which contradicted what [redacted] originally saidI asked was the color the issue and then he said yes, if I wanted a new car I had to settle for [redacted] s they had in stock at their lotI said fine, I will consider a different color [redacted] begin working with the Inventory Manager [redacted] to see what they could do between them and [redacted] because, at this point both are pointing fingers at one another not wanting to take a lost for replacing my vehicle [redacted] told me that he left a voicemail for a supervisor at [redacted] and he should have a response no later than tomorrowAt this point I am annoyed and leaving because, not only did Sherman Dodge not hold up to their end of the deal by switching my car out or offer me any financial assistance but, rather I should PAY MORE because my vehicle does not work properly and they can't figure out the issue! Mr [redacted] The fact of the matter is, the co-signer the bank was waiting for never came to through, nor did the down payment that was expected from you Once the bank had no means of receiving repayment of a loan, the transaction was voided Sherman Dodge had no choice at that point but to hire an outside company to repossess the vehicle, which cost the dealership money out of pocket The entire transaction cost the dealership time and revenue in the end At this point, there is no resolution to your complaint and I am requesting the Revdex.com close this complaint [redacted] ***

was lied to from day after I purchased vehicle filed a complaint with attorney general about various issues with this company was told I could refinance the vehicle after a year and when I went to talk to finance manager I was told that I could be done to call and make appointment after trying to make appointment I was told that he could not help me and that I would be better to trade it in after a year of owning it and finance it that way te problem is the payoff amount exceeds the tradein value so iwould still have to pay more than expected

Customer committed bank fraud and this is now a legal matter

Customer contacted us about a vehicle they have seen on our commercialThere are government mandated guidelines that must be followed in order to purchase a vehicleThe customer was guided to come to the dealership and bring appropriate identification for us to start the process of purchasing a vehicleNo where in our commercial does it state that there is no credit check needed, does not state that a cosigner is not needed, does not state that a down payment is not neededThere is a disclaimer to the commercial that must have been over looked by the customer

[redacted] did have his vehicle at [redacted] for repairsSherman Dodge's Service Director attempted to contact [redacted] to release the vehicle for repairs but was unsuccessful due to the fact it was a Saturday and [redacted] is closedUnfortuantely, the advisor at [redacted] was not giving [redacted] the correct information which in turn upset [redacted] Service Director for Sherman Dodge was directly involved in this situation and spoke to [redacted] to inform him of the issue and the Service Director also called and spoke to the advisor at [redacted] As of Novemeber 6th, the Service Manager of Sherman Dodge contacted [redacted] and gave full release to [redacted] 's vehicle not a one time releaseNothing was done intentionally to stop [redacted] from repairing [redacted] 's vehicleIf there are any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me Thank You, [redacted] ***
