Sherman Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Reviews (201)

Contacted customer in regards to Revdex.com complaint to get a better understanding of the situation and fulfill what she requestedUnfortunately, I had to disconnect the callThe consumer did have a We Care stating to install sunroof and to give another key at the time of purchase November of 2015,
We Cares expire after days, but we are willing to honor consumers request Also, customer will receive referral bonus of $

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/01/28) */
When the customer came to the dealership and we explained the advertisement was a misprint and the options were not included in that particular vehicle, and we also advised him that we are not obligated to honor the misprinted options
The customer went ahead with the purchase of a vehicle without the options listed in the ad and was fully aware that these options would not be installedHe made an informed choice to purchase the vehicle without the options
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/01/29) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The advertising method of this dealership is and deceptiveSame advertisement was printed two weeks in a row to my knowledge, and possibly moreI have a copy of the newspaper as proofThe dealership is using this promotion to lure in customers and then not honoring the dealThis is classic bait and switch, which is unethical, deceptive and illegal
I made the purchase because I was in need of a vehicle for my business, and I was running out of timeIf I had known that the advertisement was false, then I wouldn't have visited this dealership in the first place, and saved time by going elsewhereFurthermore I was also told by the sales agent that the promotion only applied to a specific lot number which is listed in the advertisement, and therefore limited to that lot quantityHe said that they had sold out of that lot and would be willing to sell another vehicle at the advertised price with a few missing featuresAt the same time they did have the vehicle that I wanted to purchase, in stock but for a higher price
After making the purchase, I went home and looked for a lot number to confirm the sales agent's statement, but I couldn't locate anything on the advertisement about a lot numberThis is where I believe the issue is, because the advertisement says nothing about lot numbers, and they had the advertised vehicle in stock, and yet I was deceptively convinced into purchasing a vehicle with less than advertised features for the same priceI am very disappointed by how I was mistreated by the sales agent and lied to about promotions listed for specific lot numberIt sounds like I am being told two different stories, first is that the advertisement was a misprint, and the second is that the advertisement was valid but only applied to specific quantity which was sold out at the time of purchase
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/02/11) */
Although we can appreciate our customers' concerns, we must reiterate that the advertisement was a misprint and the options were not included in this vehicleWe made it clear at the time of the sale that we were not obligated to honor the misprinted options
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2015/02/12) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This response does not address any of my concerns with all the details that I have provided, or provide an argument for misrepresentation of informationSherman Dodge is simply saying that they made a mistake, and do not wish to take any responsibility for it
A resolution has not been provided, therefore I cannot accept it

Revdex.com:Please contact me at *** when the headlight assembly is available
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me

We have checked our system and the customer's information has been deleted from our systemCannot say exactly when it was removed, but it is not in the system anymore
We may have previously sent this customers info to a mailing
company we use, but we use several companies and if the customer could e-mail or fax a copy of the mailer to us we can identify the company and remove it from their list
It's also important to know that we do not always send mailers to our customer base; as we engage the services of companies that send advertisements to designated zip code areas

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 10, 2014/07/08) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The first time I contacted the firm they were only given my email and phone numberMy address is unlistedIf they gave it to a third party firm for marketing purposes, then they violated what I told them- "Do not give any of my contact information to any third parties."
I contact the dealership ONCE about a vehicle and for the next year they emailed me or I received marketing mailTheir people can do the research and find out which firms they gave my personal information and they can get it deleted
Final Business Response /* (4000, 12, 2014/07/22) */
I may have not made myself clear in my previous response - we hire companies that send mailers based on zip codes - these are not list that we provide to these companiesSo, the only way to determine who sent this customer a mailer is if could provide us a copy of what he received

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I threw away the mailer weeks agoI don't care that they hire third parties for marketing purposesMy address is on the Direct Marketing Association's DO NOT CONTACT listIf Sherman Dodge uses a third party that disregards the DO NOT CONTACT list, then Sherman Dodge is a responsible as the third party

In the process of purchasing a vehicle with this business, I was told a payment amount for a perspective vehicleThey also informed me and we had agreed upon the term being for monthsAfter I get to the back of the finance office I kept asking for the number of terms of the payments like I agreed to The finance manager kept trying to change the subject and not inform me of the termFinally, after I asked continuously about the term of the payments, they tell me that the term would be months which is an extra year of $5,more within that extra year
The personnel of this business are dishonest, deceptive and they lied to meThey slipped in an extra year without informing me of the decision, trying to force me to this amountThey waited until the very end to tell me about the change of plansI have been at this business for 7hours trying to purchase the vehicle that I want for the price that's reasonable for me
After I told the finance manager that I did not want to purchase the vehicle anymore because they were dishonest and tried to get over on me, the finance manager told me to "get out of my office, and go buy a car some where else."
The people at this business had lack of integrity, lack of communication, and unprofessionalism towards their customersAll they care about is trying to make a sale, even if it means lying to their perspective buyers

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/05/20) */
This customer called to inquire about a promotional program we were running at the time
A salesperson returned his call and asked how he could assist himThe salesperson understood that the customer asked what his credit score was
at the time of his purchase in and what his current score is todayThe customer also provided the salesperson with his new address information
The salesperson called the customer back and gave him the old and new score and the customer said he would need to wait to trade in a carHe thanked the salesperson for his help, and the customer never made any issue about the updated credit score information he was just given
On May the customer called and said credit score was processed without his authorityTold him he was working with a seasoned professional and would be surprised if he would run unauthorized credit, but we would have the salesperson call him on May Told him there was a credit form with his name and his new address in the systemAlso told customer we would send letters to any credit companies if this was an unauthorized request *** was the only score requested)
Salesperson contacted him the next day and it appears that there is a misunderstanding between the two parties, and in an effort to assist the customer, we have sent a letter to *** *** to request the inquiry be removedWe have also sent a copy of this letter to the customer

*** *** ***I certainly understand your concern. The Illinois Motor Vehicle Advertising Rules & Regulations does not require us to state the total number of vehicles available for each offer. However, we try to make as clear as possible in our ads that the offers that are
presented are real offers on real vehicles. We do that by providing an example of a specific vehicle in which that offer pertains to. The information we provide includes:*Model Year*Vehicle Make*Model*Stock Number*MSRP of that specific vehicleThis information is a clear reference and road map for any customer to come into our dealership and take advantage of the advertised offer. I hope this helpful. Sincerely,*** ***

Mr* ***Our goal at Sherman Dodge and our UR Approved department is to assist our customers in having the ability to obtain a vehicle. We specialize in challenged credit and work with many lenders who provide the funding for people with challenged credit. However, Sherman Dodge and UR
Approved cannot control banks’ decisions on final funding approval. In your case, when the initial lender withdrew their funding, we made every attempt to assist which required submissions to additional lenders. This was never an intentional tactic to damage your credit, only to help you keep possession of your vehicle. We feel we did everything in our power to deliver what we consider our goal, which is to have you driving a vehicle. Unfortunately, we exhausted every avenue and could not find a lender to commit.*** ***General Manager

I am rejecting this response because:If the case was to keep me in the vehicle, why wasn't the finance company that I provided contacted with my application?
Why wasn't In House financing made available?
Why did your dealership not keep me up to date with the financing from March 16th when they received my approval letter from the courts?
These are the questions that I asked and they still are unanswered
Sincerely,
*** ***

The copy of the service warranty and the detail has been mailed to the customer

We recently purchased a new Dodge from Sherman Dodge Despite telling the salesman that we did not want the undercoating/seat protection package, we were charged for it anyway When we brought it to their attention, we were told there was nothing we could do until we received our first payment notice After receiving the notice, we called, and wrote letters and even contacted Chrysler Capital The services have never been performed on the car, and we still cannot get a refund They insist they cannot return any or all of our $ So they are $richer, and we have nothing to show for it

Our sincerest apologies for the difficulties you encountered when you called the dealershipWe have confirmed with the *** company that the check was mailed to Sherman Dodge on November 11, 2015, but to-date has not reached our officesWe expect the check to arrive very soonTo be
clear, when we receive the check we will verify with the bank if there is an open balance on the account, if so, we will have to apply the refund to the accountIf there is no balance due, then we will issue the refund check directly to youAgain, we apologize the length of time it has taken us to resolve this matter
