I wanted to pay off my loan and keep getting the run aroundI was told one amount of my payoff but when I go on,one to pay the website will not accept the amountI MUST pay $more than my quoted pay off, even though I was told over the phone there would be no additional charges

This company has tried once before to foreclose on our home while we were in bankruptcy Everything was resolved with the bankruptcy attorneys As soon as we were discharged they tried it again They are now doing this We are not behind in payments They have changed our payment several times and have not kept up with it themselves I asked for a very detailed list of what dates we have not paid but they will only send a payment history, not specific dates of which they are talking about Firstthey said the bankruptcy payments were not sent Then said no payments for the entire year of then , clearly shows it was This company is very not totally a legitimate company They have not responded correctly to the notice of error letter I maid them They want me to do the work I guess so I did We are not delinquent but no one is on the same page at Specializing Loan Servicing LLCWe have not sent our payment to the same address yet They change it all the time

I am trying to sell my home located in *** *** and Specialized Loan Servicing needs to issue a Deed of Reconveyance to remove their zero balance loan from my title report This loan was forgiven in and I have a 1099C form from this company which is a Cancellation of Debt, but they never removed the loan from the title report I have called and written to them since March 21, 2017; *** *** has called and faxed in requests for something in writing that shows there is a zero balance on this loan; I have even had an attorney write a letter to SLS requesting something in writing from them, but they have not responded to any of my requests I cannot sell this home until I receive something in writing from SLS and the current buyer just terminated the sales contract due to lack of clear title of this home

SLS took over servicing my loan from a great local bank where I had great relationships It has been less then year and they have proven to be the worst servicing company I have ever dealt with Since day they have lacked any effective communication about what they needed for continuity of service One seriously bad practice for any loan transfer is that the initial servicing bank does not transfer ALL of the necessary supporting documentation to the new servicing company By the time I was notified that SLS needed my insurance paperwork for 2018, they had already purchased insurance and tacked the cost onto my loan It took me two months to get that straight but it finally was resolved, only to be followed by new charges to my account for insurance dating back to the last two moths of My insurance company sent them the documents, I sent them the documents by email and snail mail and still the charges remained I did not pay the additional charges but kept paying my ba

loan was sold to cmc funding , I finally received a letter from them about my loanspoke to young man to set up auto-pay on 1/08/2018, was told to send in check for Janpayment, which I did, and set up auto pay to start 02/14/I received letter verifying account set up for auto pay starting feb14, I then received another letter authorizing payment on 01/08/which was received jan 16, 2018, after being told to send payment because auto-pay would not have enough time to process, a question I asked specifically due to concern that this would happenlo and behold exactly my worries happened, they took payments on same day 01/16/I called and spoke to different people , one said an agent called them on 01/and authorized payment, I asked who and was told it was me! that was incorrect , I had never talked to someone from specialized until jan 17thI then spoke to a supervisor who basically said too bad, they could send me a check but it would take days, and they would not cover overdraftsbasically laid blame on me, although they had notes that I was sending check as per SLS advicea simple sorry we made a mistake and we will fix this would have been easy, but for some reason they fought me tooth and nailI know what was said when I set up autopay , only an it would send in payment and authorize same payment at same time, but that's more or less what SLS saidterrible experience , I called Paramont Equity spoke to supervisor and other official just to make them aware of the practices SLS usesI'm also requesting transcript of r ecorded phone calls, I don't like being called a liar, which is exactly what SLS insinuatedbeware

I recently sold my Condo at *** *** *** ** *** **I had a HELOC with SLS which I paid in Full - Effective February 24th,
SLS has not been willing or able to send me a copy of the Unrecorded Lien Release which the Title Company (Prominent Title) needs to validate that I have paid the HELOC off in full
The standard timeframe for this to be completed and faxed is 10-business days after the pay off is complete
Today, Aprill 11th I still do not have copy of the unrecorded lien release
I have called on at least different days and asked for the Unrecorded Lien Release to be faxed to Tracey Price at the Prominent Title Agency - FAX: ***
And, every time I call someone either says they will do it, then does notor, they escalate to a manager who says they will the next day and the fax never shows up

SLS, LLC filed a late payment report to the credit bureaus for a payment that I attempted to make in good faith but it did not process due to a glitch that I was unaware of until my payment was days late Initially, SLS agreed to provide a correction but did not because they did not see a corresponding lto their website, which I disagree withAs a result of this issue, my wife, who is a distinguished military veteran was denied a VA loanThis singular issue, and SLS's refusal to correct has cost my family thousands of dollars I have been paying mortgages for over years and have NEVER had a late pay I am asking that SLS Do the right thing and make this correction quickly or legal action will be forthcoming

Get away from this companyMy loan was sold to them after Countrywide went down I got approved for a new loan with them after my husband stopped making payments after we divorced They gave me a modified loan based on my information and I made about payments and they came back and said that I was denied b/c they didn't have my ex husbands signatureI went back and forth with these people gave them all of the information they asked for including his signature and I still ended up losing my home They had me get a new deed to the home and etc and nothing was EVER good enoughHowever, they got payments out of me to still take my homeThis company is terrible and if you can get your loan refinanced with someone else, please do and fast b/c you will end up without a homeThe Credit Union allowed me to submit all of my paperwork (which was A LOT) to them in regards to this mortgage and the hard time I had trying to get it refinanced and they allowed me to get a new loan for a new homeI am blessed b/c these people tried their best to ruin my life and the bad part is, they DON'T CARE

We refinanced our mortgage June 30, but our July payment to our current mortgage company (SLS) had already been sent from our bank We have been trying for almost months to get our July payment refunded When we call to inquire about it they say it's in process What would they do if they received our mortgage payment months late? Mortgage Company called Specialized Loan Servicing for my previous loan for address *** *** *** *** *** *** closed & transferred to *** *** ,was closed end of December I called numerous times and Specialized Loan Servicing said everything ok, but yet continues to call ! Most recent call 6-12-& message saying call back again!

I am submitting this complaint against SLS because the company admitted to committing an error with my mortgage account, and despite being aware of such error, the company failed to correct the error before a negative credit report was automatically issued in my name to the credit reporting agencies on June Over the course of a month and a half, I have spent hours on the phone with numerous SLS representatives, and despite these efforts they have failed to appropriately address the issue
The problem began when I received a mortgage statement on or about April stating that I owed $2,on May My previous mortgage statements had always been $3,per month, but as indicated in an escrow analysis statement I received from SLS in April, my mortgage was to be adjusted to $2,for the month of May, and readjusted to a new monthly payment of $3,starting on June Therefore, when I received the mortgage statement for the amount of $2,

I had a 2nd mortgage with *** *** in and made payments of $monthly until late when they went out of BuisnessI had a loan for $100,
Of which I used $45,When they went out of business in the recession of ,they never contacted me .In .They never explained to me who they were .I went to do a refill on my house and found a lion for $185000,from them.when I looked into the Business I found they bought this loan from *** ** *** who bought ***
I spoke to them and asked for a settlement so I can remove the liesThey told me they wanted $85000,in interest and and $100,in payments .This is on a $45,

The reason why this is a review and not a complaint is that I have found my own resolution to the problem I refinanced my mortgage and FIRED SLS as my mortgage holderSLS uses a silo type of architecture for their customer account care Bottom line, there appears to be no one at SLS with an overall view of each account, who has the authority to make account level changes and is also willing to take responsibility for implementation of those changes Each silo is only concerned with their item Imagine client care representatives wearing blindersthat is SLSI'm sure SLS will say that all of the "rules" were followed in my case My counter is that your rules make no logical sense in my example AND your own representatives were not aware of your rulesI have names and dates to document most of the details of my experience with SLS but I will summarize here Over a period of about 3-weeks this last summer (2016) I had to phone SLS representatives to discuss a problem with our account The pattern that played out multiple times over this period was that the customer representative would agree that something was wrong with my account and it should be remedied I would then make a follcall to check on the progress of the account changes First, I NEVER got the same representative twice when I phoned Most would only give a first name, nothing else Second, after multiple (at least 3) attempts to repair an account problem the end result was that the change WAS NOT IMPLEMENTED and in some cases the problem only got worseIn my experience, SLS stands for Substandard Loan Servicing AVOID SLS

This company took over my mortgageI called on 1/9/got a rep named Brigitte, I asked her questions and she spoke to me in a nasty manner and speaking over meMind you this company sends a rep at am ringing my bell and taking a pic of my place - I told Brigitte they woke me up and I wasn't feeling well - she continues to explain and apologize but also argued and interjected me numberous timesI ask let me speak to your supervisorShe says very rudely she doesn't have oneWhich is bs! Then she starts getting all crazy saying I'm wishing hardship on her because I want to speak to her higher up - people this lady was nuts!!! I had other people listening to her on speaker phone - they even said she's insane! Anyhow I ended the convo with this nutjobI called back got a diffrent rep and she transferred me to a supervisor and I left a message for Heather to call me I wouldn't wish Bridgitte on my worst enemy she should not be doing that job( she was so unprofessional) now the rep I spoke to on 1/was so pleasant and great to deal with

SLS took over servicing my mortgage in February of this year They made no attempt to notify my homeowners insurance company of the change They are impounding funds to pay for both property tax and homeowners insurance, but when the insurance came due they did not pay and instead sent me a threatening letter stating that if I did not renew my insurance I would be charged penalties and that SLS would purchase more expensive insurance on my behalf and charge me for it After several calls and many hours on the phone with SLS they finally agreed to initiate payment to my homeowners insurance on 5/(payment was due 5/8) I was told this payment would be made via check and sent overnight As of today, this payment has not been received and I had to pay my homeowners insurance premium directly to avoid cancellation on 5/(even though SLS already has my cash on hand through impounds) Since 5/I have called and emailed SLS several times to ascertain the status of this payment, an

This Loan company purchase my loan from *** *** bank, they did not review all the documents received properly and sent my Home Insurance company a letter stating that I was in foreclosure and did not own my home any longer, Because of this my home owners policy was canceled on Sept 21, But was paid thru October 27, and would not be renewed
Sept 25, I called SLS to discuss this at first since I was never served any notice and was not in default, and in active bankruptcy Brandon (PHX AZ) said I Was Days past due and owed $which is the trustee portion of my bankruptcy, they gave me the name of a lawyer that was handling this supposed foreclosure and phone number
I call the attorney on 9/27/and Monica advised me the represented *** *** not SLS and the reference foreclosure was my case from and it was closed with no further action
I checked my SLS account online on 10/at 11:42am and it now said status - Bankruptcy, FCL on HOLD

The worst customer service! Numerous phone calls including a conference call with myself, bank and SLS 'executive' banker Average time of each call minutes First call initiated on 8/6/and still no firm results I would not recommend this company
