[redacted]  Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I have spent hours and hours speaking with various reps and I keep getting told different things. My husband went ahead and used a credit card card to pay our account last night and was finally able to use a gift card, however being under a device period shouldn't effect whether or not I can use a gift card. A gift card is the same as money. This is very bad business practices. I have had the gift card for over a month and was told I couldn't use it because I didn't owe money, that I had to cancel my account to use it because active accounts can't use gift card, that I couldn't use it because I did owe money, and now you are telling me I couldn't use it because I was under a device bundle period? There was nothing on the gift card as far as stipulations on when it can and can't be used and again it was a gift card not a coupon, I should be able to use it whenever I chose to. It's cash. I'm attaching some of the screenshots of my conversations just so you can get a grasp of how flaky Sling TV has been with me, how badly I have been treated, and how much time I have had to spend on this. I can only attach 4 documents, however I also have screenshots of the conversation I had in messenger as well as screenshots of the your gift card home page and the error I received trying to put the gift card in.  You need to change your policies to allow the use of gift cards as gift cards were intended to be used by or stop selling them. I would like you to fix this problem as well as have your representatives all on the same page with consistent and honest answers. Since I was forced to pay TWICE, by having to pay with my credit card before paying with my gift card, I would like a refund of the $35 I had to pay with my credit card put back on my card. My gift card was for $60 which more than covers one month of service. I feel that's the very least you could do. Sincerely, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: we prepaid for a service that was never delivered. We were asked to prepay $106 for a roku and two months of sling tv, a streaming tv service, a service that was never delivered because of constant buffering and technical difficulties on sling's end. As we did not receive the service they promised to provide, we are demanding we get our money back. We upheld our end of the bargain, this exchange of services, and they were unable to hold up theirs. It is only fair that we get our $106 dollar back, as we never received the service promised to us.
