Walmart.com received [redacted] additional rebuttal arising from her original Revdex.com complaintWalmart.com was unable to find [redacted] Walmart account based on the information that was provided on the original Revdex.com complaintIn this rebuttal [redacted] sent a copy of the chat session she had with Walmart.com and we were able to find [redacted] account based on information provided on that chat sessionOn June 15, 2017, [redacted] ordered AT&T PREPAID ZTE for home deliveryAT&T gave [redacted] a SIM card and advised that all she needed to do was put the SIM card in the phoneOnce [redacted] did AT&T closed her accountAT&T informed [redacted] that the phone she was sold was stolen because it wasn’t “scanned”We want to communicate with AT&T to find out what the issue is so we can resolve it for [redacted] ***, however Walmart.com does not have the security information to be able to access [redacted] AT&T accountAs [redacted] does not have a phone available we emailed [redacted] to go her local AT&T store and have them call us so we can find out how we can work with AT&T to resolve this issueIn the meantime, we have refunded [redacted] for the order and sent her a $Walmart eGift card for the inconvenienceAlthough Walmart.com has refunded the order and considers this matter closed at this time, Walmart will continue to work with [redacted] and AT&T to get the issue resolvedIf either of you have any further questions or comments please feel free to contact us Sincerely, [redacted] Walmart.com

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because of the same reasons for which I previously rejected their response as outlined below Walmart twice admitted to mistakes and instead of taking the minimal requested action to resolve their issue, continues to state they will do nothing and requests I accept that as a resolution On recorded conversations with Walmart help desk and executive escalation team members, Walmart admitted it was their fault their website allowed me to place a pre-order quantity greater than one unit Walmart further admitted that when the issue was identified, my order should not have been cancelled, but should be reduced to the maximum quantity allowed and that Walmart should fulfill an order of one unit for my pre-order I made a reasonable request for Walmart to fulfill an order for one unit, and Walmart had ample opportunity to do so (i.eseven days before the product release) After two weeks of communication with Walmart to address this issue, and with no evidence provided that Walmart took any action to address this request, I was informed by Walmart that “we reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for any reason” and that they would not honor my pre-order for one unit Even after twice admitting they made mistakes, Walmart justified their refusal to resolve their mistakes by referencing a policy which ensures they have no liability for failing to honor any order placed on their website Walmart should not be allowed to solicit business and drive customer to their website with promises of fulfilling pre-orders for a product, and then be allowed to refuse to honor the sale “for any reason” they chooseIt was well within Walmart’s means to reserve one unit of the product I ordered and make it available to me on the day it was released, but Walmart knowingly and purposely chose not to do soSince Walmart twice admitted they were at fault, had the ability and ample time to resolve their mistake, and ultimately chose to take no action to do so, Walmart should incur repercussions commensurate with the fact they failed to resolve their admitted mistakes Kevin Cummings
